Vores specialbyggede 3.000 kvadratmeter, 4 soveværelser, 3. 5 badeværelse bolig er beliggende i Hermosa Meadows, som er den brugerdefinerede boligområde ved siden af ​​Cascade Village. Denne bolig er mindre end 2 miles nord for skærsilden og 26 miles fra downtown Durango.

Overall, nice stay!

Overall, our stay here was great. The home is exactly as pictured, wonderfully decorated/designed, comfortable, easy to access, and the kitchen was well stocked! From a cleanliness perspective, it appeared the floors hadn’t been swept/vacuumed/mopped, and some of the sheets were stained.

They got me out of a bad house and into this one in a couple of hours. We went to Ouray, Silverado, Durango and Telluride during our stay. we had 3 couples and had plenty of room and privacy. Great house

This house had everything our family needed to be comfortable, clean.. well stocked in the kitchen (only improvement would be an air fryer) the management team was quick to respond to any of my questions. It’s super close to purgatory but yet feels secluded. Don’t count on the shuttle service, it isn’t as available as we had thought.. but we didn’t have an issue dropping people off at purgatory ourselves due to how close we were. Overall would book this house again!

Beautiful views

There is a good side (site location, views, setting, supplies & appointments in the home), a bad side (blocked off porch stopping access, no shade over the open patio, the pool & spa closed but not noted as such, not very clean except on the surface, surprise requirement for us to strip our linen and start a load of laundry) and an ugly side (night time visit by mice in the bedrooms two of the three nights, dense ravenous mosquito's, patio handrails falling down & unsafe, very expensive mail service for return of a forgotten item). I would definitely go back to the area - but probably not to this property.

Thank you for leaving a review. We are always trying to improve the guest experience, so your feedback is important to us. We are glad you enjoyed the home and its beautiful location. The pool and spa is closed like most all of them in the country due to COVID19. We have updated all of our listings to reflect this. While some pool/spas have opened up this one remains closed. The cleaning suggestions of stripping beds and throwing them in the wash is optional - you by no means are required to do this. If you saw mice, please call us and we are happy to take care of that for you. We don't know it's a problem until you let us know. The prior guests never mentioned mice. We charge you for the shipping charge of the item you left... so if this was expensive to you then you can refuse to pay it and not have the item sent back. We have a maintenance technician who oversees the property and would repair any handrails or patio pieces that are unsafe.. the patio is perfectly safe. Other than that, we hope you stay with us again.. we have a variety of properties that might you suit better.

Cascade Village Stay

The home we stayed in at Cascade Village was satisfactory with a few exceptions. The home wAs large enough for our group with plenty of bathrooms and living room seating. It is also in a great location. The ping pong table and extra sleds were a nice touch for the kids. Our problems with the home were the lack of cleanliness for one. It has not been properly cleaned in sometime. There were dead flies in windowsills, in the kitchen and on the floors. It just didn’t look like the house had been cleaned well. Also, we didn’t feel that some of the beds had been changed as there were hairs in the beds and crumbs. The washing machine did not run a rinse cycle and has probably been that way for some time. The site explained that the house was very well stocked and I disagree with that. The kitchen doesn’t have a lot of utensils. Overall I give the house a 4 out of 10. I myself wouldn’t stay here again even with the few pleasantries. If it was cleaned well….maybe.

Solid rental!

We all had a wonderful time. Super close to purgatory ski resort. Had everything we needed and will definitely rent again the next time we visit the area. The ski shop at the village was very accommodating.

Amazing home and views!

My sister and I have been taking our kids on vacations for the past few years to somewhere different everytime. When we were kids we used to vacation to Purgatory so we wanted to take our kids up there too. This rental was definitely the most equipped we have stayed in! The house is beautiful and the kids absolutely loved it! My sister and I spent every morning reading on the back deck. The views are just breathtaking! And it is in a great location right in between Durango and Silverton. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was definitely a vacation to remember!

Wonderful place. Was a good distance away from Durango but we wanted to be away from it all.

Great property! Kids had fun watching the marmots on the property. Funny, bus driver back from Silverton mentioned them on the way back, evidently they are famous! Was a great time we needed!

Beautiful property

This vacation home has everything you need for a wonderful time away. There was some construction going on that made it a little noisy but overall the scenic views and great weather made it worth it! If I would add anything to this property it might be a mosquito zapper, they were out in force and bug spray wasn’t cutting it! Hope fully the next guests will get to meet the family of furry critters that live in the rocks out back, they are adorable. We would definitely go back to this location as long as they don’t overbuild in the neighborhood.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time!! Our extended family of 11, including 6 adults and 5 kiddos stayed for a week. The house was perfect for 3 separate families, each having their own space and bathroom. Then the open living room and kitchen area with plenty of seating made a great gathering space. They had all the supplies we needed already at the house. i.e. soap, TP, paper towels baggies, laundry soap, bath supplies ect. There were gorgeous views of the stars, mountains and meadows. Durango was about a half hour drive and a fun town. Silverton was the opposite direction and was a breath taking drive. All in all it was a terrific experience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'm not one to write negative reviews, but unfortunately others need to hear about this experience before booking a reservation.First of all the location is beautiful and the views from every window are awe inspiring. This is why we were so interested in the property. The pictures show a seemingly remote location free from the trappings of city life. This was the entire reason for our travel to the Durango area and recharge batteries after the long and difficult Pandemic quarantines.Unfortunately, the pictures do not show the highway situated very close to the house. In fact, road traffic was heard all the time. This was not a huge issue, but it was left out of the description.Additionally, there was a MAJOR construction job going on right behind the house that should have been communicated to us before booking. Woken up early every day and hearing the incessant beeping of the backing up construction equipment absolutely DESTROYED any sense of peace and calm we could experience in the house. This construction noise went from 7:00 am to after 7:00 pm every day we were there.When we spoke to the management company about it, they claimed not to know anything about the construction, yet it was a major undertaking that has been clearly staged for several weeks or even months.Also, the toilet seat in the master bathroom was broken!The frustrating part is that when we tried to address these concerns with the management company, we were blown off and in fact, they tried to charge us an extra $100.00 for a cleaning they could not produce any proof of needing to happen.All this is to say that if you spend over $5000.00 to travel somewhere for peace and calm, you would think the company would at least attempt to resolve problems rather than deflect and assume no responsibilityIf you are looking to plan a trip to this location . . . BUYER BEWARE!

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you were disappointed in your experience and find that you can not recommend this home. Most guests love staying here. The convenient location of the home to Purgatory Resort does have it situated near the HWY that runs from Durango up north but it also allows for easy access to visit Silverton and Ouray which are popular destinations for people who book up north. Please always ask us for the address if this is important to you and we can provide it so that you may research the exact location further. We do apologize that there was construction going on at another home down the street and we were being honest when we don't know their construction schedule for when they come/go. I understand that some peace and seclusion is important to you. Please please call us prior to booking if you have specific needs and we will make sure you get a home that meets all of your needs and expectations for your vacation. We WANT your vacation to be as enjoyable as possible. I'm not sure why you felt blown off when calling us about any maintenance concern because we have a maintenance crew ready to go for instances such as these... we prefer to fix things as soon as possible so I don't believe we would have blown you off and I'm sorry you felt that way because that is never our intention.
