Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you found the home comfortable and well stocked, and that you were able to stay comfortable despite the hot weather. We’re very sorry about the mouse and droppings in the first-floor bedroom. That is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’re happy to share that this issue has been addressed with our housekeeping and property teams. We’ve also reinforced the importance of checking all rooms thoroughly between stays, even if they haven’t been used by the previous guests. Thank you again for helping us improve the experience for future guests!

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the house to be well-appointed and perfect for your group. We're glad that you would recommend and stay here again. The amenities are located at Purgatory Lodge at the resort which is across the street from this home as you mentioned. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Thank you for sharing your detailed review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the comfort of the home, its well-stocked kitchen, and the beautiful views. It’s also great to know the location worked well for your visit to Purgatory. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the kitchen towels being left in the washer and the oven issue, and we appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve everything promptly. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’d be happy to welcome you back for an even smoother stay next time!

Thank you for staying with us, and for completing a review! We were happy to host you and your group and are glad you had an enjoyable time. So sorry for the rough start to your stay! We expect and strive to have our properties clean, in good working order, and ready for guests to relax and enjoy their stay. It is not acceptable to have guests arrive and feel like they need to clean the home they just arrived to. We have follow up with the housekeeper to ensure that future guests arrive to a home under the expectations that we have to create a fantastic experience for them. We are glad to have the opportunity to resolve these issues, and that we did so with effective customer service. We look forward to having you stay with Durango Vacation Rental Collective again in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We apologize that you were here for a hot spell in July, it is not usually that hot in July, but we are happy to hear that we were able to bring you some fans to help with the situation. Thank you for your feedback regarding the maintenance items such as doing some work on the fence as it seems to be falling apart. We fully understand the safety concerns that it caused you. We will make sure to take a look at the backdoor lock if we haven't already looked at this issue (I believe that we have). We are also sorry to hear that there was construction going on around the home. Unfortunately this is out of our control. We also would like to apologize for the washing machine being broken. This issue has now been fixed. We are happy to hear that we did find a solution for you to use another washer and dryer close by. We hope that all in all you enjoyed the majority of your stay. We hope to see you back in the near future!

Thanks for your feedback. We are actually quite surprised by the guests comments since our entire customer service team lives in Durango and we do not use AI and most guest appreciate the ease of check in and out that VRC offers. We reviewed all of the communication with the guest and all responses were informative and relevant and even included proper grammar. Further, all of the house info including arrival instructions (which clearly the guest had since they were able to get into the home without contacting us), departure instructions, other pertinent info related to the home as well as area info are included in the app. We are unsure why all of the 85 prior guests in this home used the app with no problems but this guest was not able to figure it out. In short, all of the questions were answered and all of the questions that were asked, already had the answers in the app (which we answered anyway).

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with Vacation Rental Collective. :) It was a pleasure to host you and we hope you come stay with us again soon!
