Breathtaking view

This was the best of 3 places we stayed on the island. It has a view along the coast that is breathtaking. We loved the sounds of the waves hitting the rocky coast and seeing the Sea turtles right from the balcony..

February stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were quiet and comfortable, and the view from the balcony stellar - blue water, waves, sea turtles, whales and beautiful sunsets. We also appreciated the oceanside pool, and proximity to Poipu Beach, trails and walking paths. The nearby dining choices were a big plus.

What an incredible view. Right over the water. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. You can see sea turtles in the water all day. 301 B is a 3 bedroom unit with a huge lanai. I would absolutely stay here again.

You constantly see turtles from the balcony ;o) Right next to a nice beach and good food. Owner didn’t email lock box code so check in after hours was a bit difficult but it was worked out within an hour.

Stunning area to stay in.

The overall visit was wonderful. It could use a little updating with dishwasher and kitchen and bathroom faucets. The beds were not comfortable. So I would definitely get new mattresses. Just a suggestion maybe have a first aide kit at the house But I loved our stay. And everything was very easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we entered the condo and saw that view we knew we were in for an amazing experience. Dear Nancy: Thanks so much for your review of our condo and we wanted to let you know that we are in touch with our cleaners and property management company to ensure that the issues you raised are addressed. We adore our condo and want all guests to not only be comfortable, but have it be maintained and cleaned to ensure that you are always relaxed and at home. We do have a safe, in the master bedroom closet, and are sorry that its location wasn't clear. But we are as concerned about the issues you raise as you are and will be certain they are taken care of immediately. If you ever return to Kauai, we'd love to have you back! Warmly, Allison Krasnow & Mike Boals, owners

The stay was a mix of good and bad. The views couldn’t be any better but the actual accommodations were lacking, and likely dangerous. We had to buy cleaning products and spend 2 hours cleaning. There was hair and dirt everywhere. There were serious electrical issues. You had to turn on the lights for the master bedroom from the room next door and most of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work. We had to keep moving the microwave and coffee maker to use them. The pillows under the cover were yellow and the sheets had stains. When we complained we were told that everything was in “working order” so they wouldn’t even refund the cleaning fee. While there, we had to have the handyman come in and fix the TV and look at a glitch in the ceiling fan. The cable guy also had to come as the cable box didn’t work.

Great location and even better views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I traveled here with 4 other adults. We had a great stay. The views were amazing. We loved listening to the sound of the waves crash all day and night. It came with everything we needed, including items for our beach days. Parking on site was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The pool was also amazing. Do be careful of the ants. We found some in the cupboard on our plates when we went to use them.

Amazing View

Amazing view - that's what you're paying for so enjoy it. Turtles, Dolphins and Whale sightings daily from the balcony. Overall condo and property is very nice and clean but not luxury or extremely large. We had 5 in our party which was about max. Bed and mattresses very firm....european style. Living room is small for 4 people but comfortable. Pool was not heated which made swimming in January not much of an option. Location is short walk from downtown and beaches. Would recommend and stay again....especially if the pool heater was working.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really worn down for the price, kitchen was extremely small and not well organized, while the waves were amazing during the day they were too loud at night to sleep well. Poipu Kauai

Property on cliff overlooking water. Beautiful views. Can't be beat. Have to walk a few blocks to access the water. Then it's a very crowded public beach. Every night the turtles come up to sleep, in front of the beach goers. There is no air conditioner. There are some fans in the rooms. I would imagine summer time would be quite hot. We were pretty hot even in janurary. Although, by the end of the week we got used to it. We had a great stay. The fitness club is a great perk!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was everything thing we could have wanted. The location was terrific-could listen to ocean waves all the time. Sea turtles could be spotted daily. We even spotted a whale spouting from the deck. Just a short walk to the beach. The rental was clean with plenty of linens and beach towels. Glad to have the washer and dryer. Just a perfect 10 days! Access to the beach club was nice for pickle ball and shuffleboard as well as a pool.

Property Needs Improvement

Location and view is great. However the property condition was relatively poor, definitely needs maintenance, fresh coat of paint everywhere. Found a big cockroach which was a bad surprise. It is apparent that the owner did not keep the property in good shape. Candy wrappings under bed means cleaning crew did not do a good job. Apart from the awesomw view, only one star...

Truly Amazing Condo

What can be more amazing that sitting on your deck watching sea turtles below? Looking out from the dining room looked like we were on a boat! The bad news, not sure we will ever find a place that is better than this. I also don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere in Hawaii without seeing at least one roach, but not even one at this place. Lots of room on the deck with plenty of chairs for the 5 people in our group. I enjoyed the walk to the ocean path to view the sunrise. In early May the temperature was perfect 24/7. We did go to the athletic club to enjoy drinks by the pool, a game of shuffleboard and a morning workout. Beds were comfortable. The walk to Poipu beach was an easy less than 15 minute walk. I highly recommend staying at this condo!

Great location - beds and laundry room need refresh

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't get any closer to the ocean. Views are incredible. For the most part, the unit is very nice. However, mattresses are very hard, and in poor shape. I would expect a more comfortable bed in this price point. In-unit laundry is a nice feature, but machines are rusty, loud, and take long to clean clothes, especially the dryer. Updating those two things would take this unit from good to great.
