Bedste udsigt over Indian Pass i ethvert hjem på stranden. Beliggende nær den meget spids af Indian Pass, omgivet af hundrede år gamle træer. Du vil føle du er virkelig i gamle Florida med en meget moderne hjem. Udsigten fra hver af de 4 niveauer er smuk, men visningen fra soveværelse og solen våbenhuset vil tage din ånde væk. Køkkenet er udstyret med en JennAir komfur, varmluftovn, foodprocessor, masser af spisekammer plads og en fantastisk udsigt fra den screenede i veranda at trin ud i køkkenet. Dette hjem har også en high definition fladskærms-tv, og et surround sound system.

Det første niveau har to soveværelser. Et værelse har 2 trille senge, TV og fuld bad og den anden har en queensize seng, fuld bad og TV / DVD. Det store soveværelse på øverste niveau har en queensize seng med en smuk udsigt over vandet fra sengen. Det har også en meget moderne stil haven badekar beliggende i centrum af badeværelset. Dette er virkelig en en af en slags hjem.

PGA vindeltrapper, kan dette HOME ikke være egnet til familier med børn, eller visse typer af kæledyr.

Winter Escape

Be Aware

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Geminata is a unique place. Yes it is close to the beach and in a peaceful setting. It had a spiral stair case that went from floor to floor which there we a total of 4 floors that had to be used because the elevator did not work. I called 3 times the day we arrived about the elevator and did not receive a call back. I emailed the rental company and finally received a response the next day. NO one ever came out and checked on the elevator. While we were there we repaired an exterior door that had a missing pin, repaired 2 window blinds that had fallen. The vacuum didnt work so we went and bought a broom to sweep with. Also the AC did not cool the main level and the outside temp was approx 81 each day so can you imagine what it would be like in July!

Best Vacation Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying in this condo. Each floor offers a comfortable setting and the elevator makes it easy to navigate around the five floor. Terrific view from the roof and we loved kayaked over to St. Vincent island. Secluded and shell hunting was great. Definitely would stay here again!

Cool house, great location, but....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THE GOOD: Very custom modern five-story house with elevator and spiral staircase. The views are 100%. The location is convenient to Port St. Joe and Appalachicola. THE BAD: Transitions from floor to staircase are not safe for small kids or elderly people. Each person gets 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth. No extra linens of any kind. Disappointed with the beat-up furniture in the master bedroom.

Unique beach house

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property is great. The house itself is not for everyone, if you're bothered by heights and lots of stairs it's not for you. Elderly or mobility challenged guests would not do well here. The stairs and no way to block them off makes it not suitable for small children in my opinion. The driveway is tight for larger vehicles and could use some trimming. The gulf front view is non existent except from the third and fourth floors. The furnishings are a little weird, just doesn't have that typical beach house feel. The roof deck was nice and had a beautiful view of St. Vincent Island. We caught lots of fish and had an overall good time. Just don't think the house is for us in the future.

Loved the elevator!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay, the elevator was a big plus because the spiral staircase would have been impossible for my wife to use. The view from the common area, which the area is quite small for a house that sleeps 8, well there was no view, because trees were blocking it. The only beach view, and it’s a beach front rental, is from the master suite and the roof. The roof access is only accessible if you climb the stairs, the elevator does not go up that high. The kitchen is well stocked to a point, however there was a bucket to catch a leak from under the sink, and it had to be emptied at least once a day. Also, no kitchen towels or dishwasher tabs (or tab) were given, just a small hand bath towel and a bar of soap. There was not way to really vacuum the sand from the floors, the small vacuum they did provide did not work. I used an old broom and dust bin I found but it really didn’t do a great job. The gas grill was convenient, but we had to total clean it and call the rental office for a full propane bottle. They did provide us with one, but we had to pick it up at the office in town. I think the house would be a better fit for adults, which it did state I think, or older kids as the stairs are very steep. We had a 2 week stay in the house, beautiful weather and beach, not many people on the beach which we like. One last thing, the parking was substandard. It was overgrown to the point that it scratched our vehicle, and was impossible to get out of the car without the growth injuring passengers . Also the mosquitoes lay in wait in the overgrowth ready to attack and fly into your vehicle every time you opened the doors, so coming or going you trying to swat mosquitoes that got in your car. It needs a severe trim or provide bug spray. Would we rent the house again, no. However, for a small family or couple it would be fine I think. Like I said, the common area to accommodate 8 people is tight, especially if they are average size adults.

Reviewer Comments: View was incredible, the kitchen very well stocked, the elevator made getting to the different levels and carrying luggage in and out so much easier, all this added to the rest and relaxation of our visit. Hot water didn't last for three regular showers so had to stagger bath times and that sometimes made it inconvenient. The glass floor was a challenge for some! We made great memories and wonderful pictures! Thank you for providing a home away from home in paradise!

Unsafe and trashed beach.

A daily procession of jacked-up pickups, jeeps with over-sized off-road tires flying Confederate flags, and unlicensed golf carts driving past the beach house we paid big money to rent for a month. My wife was harassed by creepy men in golf carts. At least cities have enough sense to erect sidewalks so pedestrians aren’t forced to walk in traffic. The house was filthy. There was a layer of dust on every surface and dirt and animal hair on the floors. (It took 3 swifter pads to clean the downstairs.) There wasn’t enough hot water for two consecutive showers. It’s a shame, because we liked the quirkiness of the house, but the idea of encouraging irresponsible people to drive all over the beach where kids are playing is crazy! First time to Indian Pass; last time to Indian Pass. I regret paying for a month.

Long Weekend

We had a fantastic time. The house was great. Very clean. The beach was very nice. Mosquitoes were really bad in the front of the house.

Nice location, great views!

We had a bad start, as the cleaning was not done from the previous rental. A cleaner came the next day and did a nice job. The other issue was I got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. I finally figured out that a small bouncing movement would jiggle it so the door sensor would line up and release the door latch. Probably best to send your luggage up the elevator buy itself to avoid issues. Loved the deck views, beech and island. Very few other people on the beech this time of year (mid August)

Family Vacation 2018

Reviewer Comments: Geminata was ok - the “living area” was cramped for our family of 8 as there wasn’t enough seating for everyone to be together unless some of us sat at the dining table. It rained a good bit which is to be expected at the beach; however, the window in the master bedroom leaked (I did call and report) and this caused the ceiling in the den to leak a nasty black water so we had to keep a bucket in the middle of the floor to catch. The view was spectacular from the very top deck, but very limited from other floors because the trees are so tall and block the view. The current is quite swift in front of the house which made fishing a little difficult for our guys so they spent most of their days over at Cape San Blas or the bay (both easily accessible and a quick ride to get to). The girls either sat on “our” beach or sometimes went with the guys. Overall, we had fun and enjoyed being together!

Wonderful week at Geminata

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Home was perfect for my family. The elevator was an unplanned ancillary but turned out to be most convenient. My Mother who struggles with steps was thrilled and the youngest vacationers were tickled with the dog riding from floor to floor. Thank you for allowing us to bring our Dog, we all enjoyed the whole family being able to enjoy the beach. The only negative we all encountered were the mosquitoes and sand fleas, not exactly in your control but they were a severe nuisance. Thanks again. Hope to return next year.

Geminata at Indian Pass

Reviewer Comments: The Indian Pass beach experience is a departure from other parts of the wide open gulf; the waves are milder and the overnight tides are less dramatic. If you're a sand sculptor, your creations can be close to the water without getting washed away! We saw dolphins, other sea life, tons of birds and many shells. The modern architecture of Geminata is also a fun change from other homes on the beach. And even though its silhouette may seem austere, inside it is cozy, practical and the top level provides wonderful views of both the ocean and lagoon sides of the landscape. The location is a bit remote but shopping, groceries and restaurants are an easy drive away.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some issues with the house....mainly NO privacy for using bathroom in Master Suite. A hanging curtain for a door is simply not enough. Water pressure was minimal in the Master Suite also. The living area was hot a lot of the time which I am sure is due to the open spiral staircase. The ceiling fan in living area is quite the discussion piece but does nothing to help with the heat. Mosquitoes were horrible so using cornhole boards outside was simply out of the question. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with at least 50 coffee cups and lots of storage containers without lids. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this unit :(

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home is beautiful. Well equipped. Pet friendly. Gulf front. We love Indian Pass. It is such a wonderful place to go and relax and enjoy a family vacation. The gulf front view that is advertised and you pay for is limited due to overgrown trees. We were grateful for the elevator. We do not have any physical disabilities but getting baggage and groceries to upper levels would have been much more difficult without the use of the elevator. 4 adults and 2 children stayed with lots of time to enjoy time together and also have time for privacy. Thank you for a wonderful spring break!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great house for the most part especially the location. I sent the management company some comments about the condition of the house that were there on our stay back in 2014 and 3 years later are just worse. The master shower is leaky and moldy, but we just used the downstairs showers. They have not replied but still send robot emails, so they probably don't really care about your experience. Hopefully that will change or they will put the property upper sale to someone that will fix the things in the house.
