My family and I really enjoyed Edgewater Dreams. The gated community is conveniently located and is full of beautiful wildlife (mainly deer and geese). They even have a neighborhood pool that my boys swam in when the river was running a little higher than normal (after rain). The cabin was beautiful, well appointed and well stocked, and the river was easily accessible. We were even able to drive about 6-7 minutes to Fish Trap Park and tube down to the property. This was a wonderful, relaxing getaway and we plan to return in the near future.

Lovely cabin on the river. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. River sounds and wildlife sightings added to the overall wonderful experience. Will plan to return.

Peaceful and Relaxing

My husband and I enjoyed the cabin. Very relaxing waterfront property but still close to town for restaurants.

Relax in the Cool Mountain Air

Beautiful cabin

This was the nicest cabin wd have ever rented. It was beautifully decorated and they provided everything we needed. The river was gorgeous and the property was nice and level and well maintained. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Relaxing

Very Beautiful and Clean cabin. The area was gorgeous! Loved seeing the deer! Will recommend this cabin to my friends and family. Hopefully will be able to go back there again!!!!

Cabin was so nice and clean. amazing views of the river, Great kitchen the screened in back porch was amazing. we really enjoyed the peace and quiet..

Great Cabin Highly Recommend

The location was ideal along the river. Great fire ring in the yard and the house had everything you need to relax and have fun. Hot tub, fully stocked kitchen and a bunch of board games. We will come back!

Best vacay

The river in the back is beautiful. You can dit outside and listen to the sound of the water and watch wildlife gathered around the firepit or in the hammock. Lots of surrounding areas to visit, restaurants, quaint shops, and wineries. It was so relaxing!

Great stay on the river!

Beautiful cabin on river

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Loved the scenic river and enjoyed the patio, porch, hammock, and firepit a lot. Inside was very nice as well and the Fall decorations were a nice touch. The only thing we thought could be improved upon was to include coffee to use with the coffeemaker.

23rd anniversary

One of the most beautiful properties we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Could not have found a better place to spend our honeymoon. Owners are extremely nice people. Loved it.

Amazing home

Such a beautiful property!! The online pictures do not even come close to capturing it. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back soon. Also loved being able to tube right in the river behind the house. My son loved it!

The place is awesome! Very clean upon arrival, stocked with everything you need to be able to enjoy the setting immediately. Great for our party of 4 adults and 2 smaller dogs. Even had water bowls and a dog bed on the back porch. The only negative I can comment on is the inside lighting, it really needs more light or stronger bulbs. Also the refrigerator water filter needs replacing or removable. We drank the unfiltered with no problems and we are all large water drinkers. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, the river so soothing and the fire pit perfect. We had an absolutely wonderful time and we will return.

Wonderful relaxing hideaway

One of the best places I've ever stayed a for vacation. The owner completely decorated the house like a Norman Rockwell Christmas bungalow. Everything was professional. The sound of the river while having a fire outside brought back memories as a child growing up on a mountain fed lake. We will be back!

PERFECT

Wow what a great place. Everything at your fingertips. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect. I forgot my fishing poles at the cabin so I called and they were so kind to ship them to me. Overall a great experience with a great price.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our short stay in this property. The cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. When walking in you feel the coziness. We were only there for two nights when it was a cooler temperature but this property is great for all seasons. I loved being on the porch and listening to and watching the river flow. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the couch next to the gas fireplace. The hot tub is a great addition to this patio. We would definitely rent this property again when in town.

Fun at Edgewater Dreams

Six of us ranging in age from five to 75 enjoyed all the things that Edgewater Dreams and the Coosawattee River Resort had to offer. From relaxing in the hot tub to tubing down the river to fishing to swimming and playing putt putt golf and pickleball at the rec center to rocking on the back porch while watching the river and geese, deer, hawks, and other wildlife, we all got to experience some of our favorite things. The cabin is very well appointed with all you need to enjoy a great time in the North Georgia mountains. This was a three generation vacation that we will not forget! You can’t go wrong with Edgewater Dreams!

Our kids' new favorite place to stay!

This cabin surpassed our expectations and was the perfect place to spend a weekend with our kids, 2 of their friends, and our small dog. Loved the easy access to the river, the playground/public space ( a few doors down), the hot tub, the fire pit and the screened porch. House was well-appointed and had everything we could possibly need. My only complaint is that the large amount of goose poop in the backyard made that space of limited use, but I understand that may be one of those unavoidable facts of nature! Kids are already asking us to rent this cabin again!

Lovely river cabin getaway

My family truly enjoyed our visit. The cabin is amazingly stocked with kitchen appliances and gadgets, plenty of linens, and comfortable beds. Modern comfortable furnishings inside and outside. Loved the large screened back porches and nicely manicured lawn with easy river access. Beautiful river views with many geese and deer sightings. Within 15 min of quaint Elijay shops and restaurants. Only negatives, close neighbors in a very large community with windy hilly roads, but still a quiet escape. And I recommend removing the eyesore old stump of a tree that used to have a viewing platform.

You need to stay here!

The pictures of this place doesn’t do it justice. Don’t get me wrong, they are perfect pictures, but once you get there you’ll be blown away by the layout and beauty of this place. Right on the river with easy access to the water. My son and I were dropped off at east park with our kayaks and only took us an hour and a half to get to our house. Everything you would ever need for cooking, beds and pillows sooo cozy, and so close to town of Ellijay in case you forgot something. I can’t wait to stay there again. House is absolutely beautiful. We’ve stayed in so many cabins, hotels, and rentals, but this one will be on my list of favorites for sure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.
