Masser af fladt land! River Ritz er en smukt indrettet 3bd, 2bth 2 story bjælkehytte, der sidder et par meter fra ELLIJAY RIVER og har virkelig det hele. På denne Sliding Rock Cabin kan du prøve din hånd på flugtfiskeri, nyd en tur langs flodens kant eller rør til din hytte fra den overdækkede bro. Måske tage et måltid i vandet pavillon. Om aftenen stege S'mores i flodbredden eller nyde en stor udendørs boblebad og se floden gå forbi. Alle dæk er gated så og der er en FENCED YARD så selvfølgelig din pooch er velkommen!

Could use some updates in regards to linens. Wildlife is expected to spiders and their webs are abundant here.

The location is ideal - a few steps added to get into the water would have been perfect - for those of us who lack 100% balance. But, definitely not an issue.

Pet and Kid Friendly

We loved our 10 day stay at the house. The fenced in yard for the dogs and toddler is always appreciated! The house gave us the basics we needed for the first night. We loved the wood burning fire place in the living room and the hammock by the deck and hot tub. Side note: the house can be “rustic” because it’s wood, the walls are thin. But it definitely gives it character. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to play in the river more!

Perfect Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a quaint little 3 bedroom cabin in a great spot on the river. It has a fenced yard, firepit surrounded by swings, along with a covered patio directly on river where you can have dinner or just relax in the hammock with a good book! We took our 2 labs and they were right at home! You can also enjoy a dip in the large hottub overlooking the river, only a couple of steps outside the door. The layout of the cabin is perfect and it was so clean and well organized! It has a woodburing fireplace, a grill just outside the kitchen, tv's in the living room and all 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a game room. We arrived to a welcome note from the owners and a tote bag as a gift. We travel a lot on short trips to the mountains, long weekends, etc. We've stayed in numerous places but this is by far the best. I didn't even bother to leave a review on the others. They were nice as well, but not like this one. It's the perfect cabin, in the perfect place, for the perfect getaway! Highly recommend!

The cabin is a great place for dogs, especially the outdoor area. While we were there, we went hiking, checked out the wineries and orchards, and visited downtown Ellijay. It was a great trip.

It had minor issues like the downstairs fan in bathroom made awful sound and we were afraid to turn it on. Also the lighting is very dim throughout cabin. Overall great little place. The drive in to get to the cabin was treacherous. Roads need serious work. The wildlife was majestic. I would stay again and recommend to others

Relaxing getaway with our dogs

They enjoyed the fenced in yard which was secure and a decent size. It's so difficult to find vacation rentals that allow multiple large breed dogs so we felt like we hit the jackpot with Sliding Rock cabins. Even with neighbors we felt secluded and loved to sit outside listening to the river. We had a big storm come through during our stay and lost power for 2 days. We appreciated the cabin staff staying in touch with us. Cell phone service is spotty in this area so we really were able to disconnect and relax. We will be back again later this year!

Relaxing Week on the Ellijay River

This was our 4th time staying with Sliding Rock Cabins and while we've always been extremely happy with the cabins we chose, River Ritz is our favorite! Lots of water front on the property and the outdoor deck was the ideal place to relax and watch the river flow by. All the lovely blooming flowers, shrubs and trees on the property added to the beauty of the outdoor environment. The fenced yard was perfect for our 3 small dogs! We appreciated that it allowed them to access to the outdoor deck where they could safely hang out with us; one of our pups is only 7 lbs and I never worried she would be able to squeeze through the fence or deck railings. The new swings around the firepit were a brilliant idea and we spent several chilly evenings sitting around the fire. While the cabin was smaller than some of the others we stayed in, it offered plenty of room for 4 adults and was well appointed. We found the beds and furniture to be very comfortable. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed for those times we cooked in. Can't wait for our next visit!

We really enjoy the outdoor areas of this property; nicely designed with great seating areas inside the large fenced area including a nicely furnished covered deck with relaxing river views and easy river access to allow our dogs to swim. Bedrooms are comfortable. Bathrooms adequate. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice TVs and game room for indoor entertainment. Flat driveway with plenty of parking. Kind and helpful office staff who quickly respond to inquiries. Cabin needs a few minor repairs and would benefit from some modest decorating renovations, all of which we reported to management after we departed. Main road needs grading; doesn’t require AWD/4WD, but many pot holes from rain erosion.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this cabin 2 years ago and again this year over Christmas. Minor things were lacking from previous stay. Was not as clean as it was in the past. Had to look for a dropped puzzle piece under couch. Been a while since that area was touched. Cleanliness overall was lacking a bit. 2 years ago the cabin was decorated beautifully with holiday adornments including a large tree. This year it was a small 12 inch one. Had to buy firewood this year. Had to buy toilet tissue. Just a few things that I would expect paying the rate we did for the week

Wonderful place to relax!

Eventhough the furniture etc was a little outdated and the house is pretty dark, it feels so cozy and welcoming inside! There was music playing in the house when we arrived and we also loved the personal welcome note. Our 3 kids and our dog loved the outdoor space and gameroom. The landscaping is beautiful! The location is great! 10 minutes to Ellijay, 15 minutes to Blue Ridge, 40 minutes to Amicalola Falls. The drive to the cabin is a little scary at first, because the road to the house is very steep, but we felt comfortable driving there after the first day. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
