Casa Blanca - det hvide hus i Caribien

Beliggende ca. 4 miles fra downtown Charlotte Amalie og omkring 250 meter over Morning Star Beach, er Villa Casa Blanca designet til to til seks gæster. To rummelige etværelses, en-bad suiter flanker den ene side af poolen og dæk, mens soveværelset og badet løftes over den lyse og bløde stue, køkken og spisestue på den modsatte side. Alle værelser har banker af glasdøre, med terrasser og en betagende udsigt over de klare, blå caribiske og hvide sandstrande nedenfor.

Nyd dine måltider ved poolen, se krydstogtskibe og glatte sejlbåde, der nærmer eller afgår havnen, mens de tropiske handelsvinde trøster dig. Du vil nyde det næsten perfekte klima uden whining af klimaanlæg.

Hvad kan du gøre for at nyde din tid? Lime-in ', frit oversat betyder at gøre ingenting og nyde det som første valg! Den 18-hullers golfbane ligger ca. 15 minutter væk. Tennisbaner kan nås inden for 3 minutter på franskmandens Reef Hotel.

Jomfruøerne er blandt de få dyk paradiser tilbage. På kun tre dage kan du være en PADI eller certificeret dykker! Hvis dykning ikke er for dig, giver en 48 passagers ubåd dig mulighed for at nyde den utrolige undervands skønhed uden at blive våd. Snorkling er også tilgængelig ikke kun på St. Thomas, men også på de berømte strande St. John, kun en kort færge tur væk, og glem ikke vindsurfing, sejlads og para-sejlads!

St. Thomas er sikkert smykkekapitalen i Caribien, men der er også virkelig gode tilbud på krystal, porcelæn, kosmetik, designer lædervarer og også spiritus. Alle er prissat op til 50% mindre end hjemme.

The place was great for our family of 4. Our two college age children had their own rooms and bathrooms that they enjoyed. Our family enjoyed the pool as it was great to come back to after a day of activity. This property had everything we needed for some breakfast cooking. We also utilized the gas grill one night. The owner was very helpful in advance of our stay and there is a housekeeper that is very helpful during the stay.

Paradise

Once we opened the front door the view immediately let us know we made the right choice. The location is perfect to enjoy this beautiful island. The accommodations were perfect, comfortable and enjoyable for the entire family. The owner and caretaker made sure that we were happy and well cared for. This is a great place for a family and three couples if wanted.

St Thomas

Casa Blanca was absolutely perfect for our family trip to the Virgin Islands. The house itself was beautiful, very comfortable, was in a quiet neighborhood with an amazing view, and was still just minutes from all the action. The layout of the house was perfect when traveling with young adult children…everyone had their own space as well as comfortable common areas to hang out in. We loved it and hope to visit again some day!

Christmas 2024

The property was everything and more. Al and Evette were wonderful with communication before and during our stay. I lost my husband this year and were looking for the perfect place to celebrate Christmas away from home. Friends who live on the Island we in love with it also and are going to recommend it to friends looking for a place to stay. We will definitely be back again.

This extraordinary well kept property is simply amazing. From the fantastic ocean views to the beautiful flowers, orchids and fruits that surround the property that are maintained be a most gracious property manager. A real winner that is etched into my memory forever! Truly amazing.

Wonderful place in paradise

Very nice owner and caretaker. We wanted for nothing. All of our expectations were exceeded. Clean and well appointed home. The view of the ocean, watching the cruise ships come in and go out from our pool deck was awesome. Three separate master bedrooms doesallow reasonable privacy. I’m actually at a loss for words to describe the great memories we will have of this trip.

Magical

The photos do not do this home justice. The views are breathtaking, and the home has such a unique island charm. Ms. Evette kindly freshened our towels for us in the middle of our stay and checked in on us just enough to be helpful and kind. Al messaged proactively and kindly in the days leading up to our trip and when we arrived. Kitchen is dated, maybe, but has everything you could need and the appliances are in good order. We cooked every night and used the gas grill outside three or four times. The pool is just the right size for the four teenagers / young adults in our group to float and have fun. Location is an easy access point to Havensight and all the shops in Charlotte Amalie. Lovely home, would definitely stay again.

Perfect Getaway

This is a beautiful home with plenty of room and everything you need. The pool and property are gorgeous with amazing views of the bay below. There are also lots of beautiful plants and wildlife from birds to iguanas to enjoy! Al was a pleasure to work with, and Evette is so kind and helpful. We visited in June 2021…there was construction going on just below the property…which did sometimes interfere with enjoying the sounds of the waves and the birds, but it was still a wonderful time. Tips for travel, pack enough for your stay…unless you don’t mind having Evette do your laundry. Also they try to conserve water so that’s important to remember. There are coolers available for your day trips to the picturesque beaches, just no chairs on the property so be prepared to rent those, typically $5-10/chair.

WOW!

What a beautiful place and worked perfectly for our family of 6 adults. Very clean and had everything we needed plus more. Huge impression upon entering and every room was uniquely and tastefully decorated. Be sure to also enjoy the landscaping.

Amazing place

This place was everything for myself and my friends. The views are amazing from every angle. I do highly recommend getting a vehicle or you’ll be walking down to the resort to get a taxi.

Wonderful getaway

We had an amazing ten days at casa Blanca. The set up with our 2 grown daughters was ideal. We highly recommend staying there.

Great week

My wife and I spent the week here celebrating our wedding anniversary. The property was very clean and the views are amazing! Evett, the property manager who lives downstairs was very helpful and when needed when out of her way to help. This was our first stay on the island, the only visit before was a cruise stop. We learned a lot such as driving on left side of road and there is no Uber! We adapted and enjoyed the week. While we did rent a car, on a couple of occasions we wanted to use a taxi service. It's hard to get a taxi to the house since there are no house numbers. We figured out that driving down to the Marriot cab stand and asking the driver to follow us back worked out well. Also, food deliveries we used St. Thomas Direct. With St. Thomas Direct you can pin your location on the map and they drive right to you. This was very helpful for our pizza night!

Spacious and well appointed. Great location!

I stayed at the property with my husband and 15 and 17 yo daughters, who each enjoyed having their own master suites. The house is well appointed and has all the necessities, including plenty of towels. We didn’t cook but the kitchen had everything you’d need to cook family meals. The location was perfect, a short drive to Yachthaven and Charlotte Amalie’s shopping and restaurants. I was initially concerned that there is no ac but the weather was perfect (82/73) this tome of year and I really loved feeling the tradewind breezes throughout the house and hearing the ocean at night. Al,the owner, was very responsive and available to answer any questions I had. Great property!

A true home away from home in the middle of paradise

LOVED THIS HOUSE! A true hidden gem! I went with a group of friends who travel together once a year to different islands. We have stayed at similiar properties all around the carribean and we all agreed that this is THE BEST property we have stayed in. It has the charm and character of a house that have really been loved and lived in. The view is gorgeous and we spent every morning watching the sunrise. The house has literally everything you need for a trip- weather it be a speaker to play your music or a kitchen full of everything you need- it was great to stay somewhere and not have to worry about all of those details. Al was a great host and took the time to really give us all the details we need to help make our trip the best possible trip. It was great for a group of friends but would also be a nice place for a big family or couples since every bedroom has its own bathroom, so feels private. Can’t wait to go back!

Great House Wonderful Views

6 of us stayed here after a week of sailing in the BVI’s. It was wonderful. The house was better than we expected, it was very clean and well appointed. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The common areas are large and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The view from the pool deck is wonderful! You can sit and watch the cruise ships coming and going. The pool is just right for cooling off. The onsite housekeeper, Evette, was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Al, was quick to answer all my questions. He could not have been more helpful and friendly. This is a wonderful house and will not disappoint. I hope that we will have a chance to stay here in the future. Highly recommend!

literally perfect in so many wasy

if you want an uncompromising experiencing on this island (or just knowing you will have a great time in the islands period) pick this place. the only problem we had was how much we enjoyed hanging out there and not wanting to go anywhere. no comparison when it is someone's home and they care about it vs just set up for renters. the house is great. each room fabulous. the location great and easy to walk to the beach. the thing was really feeling like a home. so warm and welcoming. feeling great being there. rubbing mango the dog's belly. the housekeeper so friendly. Al our host was so great with flexible needs before and all during any question I sent he got back right away with totally relevant and useful information. I promise you will like this place even more than fancier homes. I will likely come back to this island just to stay here. Thanks Al.

Breathtaking Views, Great Accomodations

We loved our stay Casa Blanca. The views are breathtaking, the pool was divine, location is excellent, and the house was very clean. The house is located close to the Marriott and a 2 minute drive to a nice public that had food, volleyball court, and water sport rentals. It was also a quick drive (less than 10 minutes) to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. As for the property, the kitchen was nicely equipped, and making it easy to cook. The owner had almost everything you'd need for the beach; towels, coolers, etc. The bedrooms were spacious and each had its own full bath. My kids enjoyed walking around the property looking at the fruit trees, relaxing in the hammock, and sitting at the table overlooking the magnificent views of the water while doing homework. The owner was helpful, answered all of my questions, and gave suggestions. We have rented numerous homes from these websites and this owner was hands down the best we have ever had. We truly felt at home. I would highly recommend renting this house!

perfect

Me and my 2 adult children stayed at casa blanca for 1 week. It was near perfect. The views, privacy, breezes off the water location, and the comfort level of the house. comes w own beach dog (stays mostly outside) Mango. We had great vacation and this house had allot to do w it. Also if your looking for snorkel guide Capt Jim from VIBE charters knows the spots

Simpy the best!

We celebrated our New Years 2014 here (the calendar doesn't let me go further than 1 yr ago from today's date) and we had the most amazing time! The property is all that you see in the pictures and more! We had everything that we could wish for in this house and we are so pleased with it. We highly recommend it and we keep thinking about coming back here again and again. Each bedroom has a large king bed and its own bathroom - which is just fantastic. Outdoor area, pool and grill with the most amazing views were unforgettable. The owner was very kind, professional and responsive. Thank you Al for your house and for our treasured memories.
