Absolutely beautiful place, and a very nice host. Kitchen had all that’s needed like coffee, oil, salt, pepper, herbs etc. Everything was better than expected.Heard dinner that is offered for additional cost was worth it ( we didn’t try it). Breakfast was okay. It is self service and you cook your own eggs, so shopping is a good alternative.

Even better than we picturedThis place exceeded our expectations — a beautiful, scenic property that was the perfect break from the big cities. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and cool, and the outdoor area was ideal for enjoying dinner al fresco. The infinity pool and lounging area were an absolute highlight — stunning views and the perfect spot to relax between exploring the region.A special highlight: the cooking class with the owner's son. We cannot recommend it enough — our teenagers enjoyed it just as much as the adults did.We'd definitely come back!

Wonderful stay in Tuscany!

We had an incredible stay at the property! Eloise was an excellent host - She made us feel so welcome and right at home. She also makes delicious homemade wine and a lovely dinner that we would highly recommend during your stay! The property was beautiful and very peaceful. It was very convenient and centrally located to many Tuscan towns. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Our host, Eloise, was incredibly gracious and welcoming! We highly recommend the homemade dinner and wine that she served us one evening. A beautiful property! We would love to come back some day.

Beautiful, clean, historic, and excellent, kind hospitality.

We stayed here after several nights in Rome to enjoy some time in the country and did day trips to Florence, Montepulciano, and Montalcino. We loved the breathtaking floral gardens, views, cooling off in the pool, and kind hospitality. We stayed in the former church and had plenty of space for our family of nine. Everything was super clean. Splurge on the dinner. Eloise will cook you plenty of delicious food.

Fantastic stay

We spent a week at this charming property and had an absolutely magical time with friends. The house was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony perfect for enjoying evening meals. The shared pool offered breathtaking views, and the other guests were incredibly friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. Our host, Eloise, was exceptional—her hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more special. She provided wonderful restaurant recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Anniversary celebration for parents

To celebrate my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, we gathered in Tuscany for a week in April and Villa Dipendenza at La Palazzina was wonderful. Eloise and her family are very gracious and welcoming, the property of beautiful, the Villa was clean and well supplied and Eloise was very attentive to our needs. She and her family cooked 2 lovely dinners for our group of 8 and we enjoyed breakfast every morning we were there. The Villa has wonderful authentic Tuscan charm, the beds and rooms were comfortable, we had fires in the fireplace and I can’t recommend La Palazzina enough. Thank you for a fabulous stay! Great stay!

Property is beautiful. Lovely family. Clean and relaxing. Close to Siena and small towns. Large Villa does not have A/C but others do. Bring bug spray! The mosquitos are viscous and the local big spray does not work! Pool is amazing and the food she prepared was awesome! Thanks Eloise!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!

This place is not to be missed! The location is great (you will need a car to get there). We rented the 4 bedroom cottage and it was perfect. 3 bedrooms and lots of space. Eloise and her family were wonderful. She will cook you dinner (it's a must do!) as well as breakfast. The dinner was 4 courses and each one was amazing. The location is serene, Olive groves, goats, cows, chickens and more. The pool was a bit chilly in April but that did not stop us from going in. Can't wait to go back!

a beautiful holiday

I'm from Italy but I'm living in london, since three years I never come back in Italy. We choise La Palazzina for our holiday and we are wery enjoyed to our stay, I felt like at home I would just like to say how much we enjoyed staying once again in the Val di merse. The weather was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the two meals we had at La Palazzina. Please pass on again my compliments to your wife whose cooking is superb. I was sorry to miss coming to see you on Friday evening but the thunder storm and packing got in the way! We are now back in a cold and windy England facing the prospect of a trip to a colder wetter ane windier Irealand tomorrow for a Congress. My best regards to everyone who helped to look after us I suggest this beautiful place

Holiday and wedding

Amazing location and very helpful and friendly hosts. Pool area and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Having three very young children and with two of them being one years old we had issues with safety. The high chairs provided were unsafe and the many awkward steps within the property were a hazard. Stair gates would have made a big difference. The cooker needed a proper guard against potential accidents. The addition of air conditioning would have been welcomed. The directions received via the app were not accurate. No reference made to La Palazzina.

The house it is a historic bulding place from 1600 century , there is step around ofcousre it is part of the propriety and we must try to keep all original and preserve , we have many family with kids and never had problem all it keep safe and the kitchen it perfect normal kitchen m we never had any problem with guest, if you want to have different comfort you need to make a different choise , choose a new hotel with different atmosphere ,with no steps around . the guest make a lot damage in the house and ver dirty , we don't have any good reference for them

Gorgeous!

I just returned from my 2 1/2 week stay at Villa Dipendenza. We arrived on a rainy day, so it was hard to see the charm and beauty of this beautiful place. But the sun quickly came out and remained the entire time of our stay exposing the magic and beauty of this incredible place. Eloise and her husband have created a beautiful and relaxing ambience. Hillside views, flowers, lavender, palm trees, and gardens that only a green thumb and the Tuscan sun could cultivate. An awesome pool area where we spent many a day basking in crystal clean water and no sign of chlorine. The farmhouse villa where we stayed added the rustic Tuscan feel of a place over 450 years old, but with all the modern amenities (including free WiFi, hot water, great water pressure, dishwasher, flat screen tv). The location was perfect! 20 minutes to Siena, just a little further to San Gimignano/Volerra, and 30 minutes to other beautiful towns (Pienza, Montalcino, Montapulcino) and wine tasting; and who knew Tuscany had beachfront, one hour to closest beach which was gorgeous Cala Violina beach. Worth the 45 minute walk from our parking to get there. The vineyards in the hills of this region provided breathtaking landscapes and great wine tasting opportunities. Eloise speaks perfect English and was able to recommend restaurants and places to go. They make their own wine, so we sampled a very lovely red wine. In addition, Eloise had just received a shipment of Prosecco which she had previewed and purchased from a small farm in northern Italy. Delicious. We were happy to buy several bottles from her. Last, but not least, I cannot end this review without a mention of Leon who became our best little buddy during our stay. Will definitely come again to this beautiful place and recommend it to others happily.

Fantastisch verblijf !

Mooie, nette (typisch Toscaansse) woning met prachtig zwembad. Ook al waren er verschillende verblijven. Ieder gezin had perfecte privacy. Zeer aan te raden voor vakantie in Toscane - Italie.

Séjour fantastique !

Nous étions 8 québécois qui avons séjourné dans ce magnifique havre de paix. Une maison Toscane authentique. Le premier soir, nous avions demandé à Éloïse de nous faire la cuisine et ce fut délicieux. Très bien située pour visiter la région. Il faisait exceptionnellement froid pour la fin du mois de mai, nous avons apprécié se faire des feux de foyer. A recommander sans hésitation.

Relaxing, rejuvenating, radient

Eloise was a wonderful hostess, always there when we needed her. The property is comfortable, clean and a delight. We had plenty of room in our villa for the seven of us. Eloise made us breakfast as well as a sumptuous dinner one evening, which we ate al fresco. The vegetables came fresh from the garden. Delicious! And the 'house wine' was wonderful! If you plan to cook, you may want to bring along extra spices and seasonings as the kitchen is well equipped with dishes, pots and pans, but is a bit light on the spice rack. We ran out of a few things and Eloise was quick to bring us refills, including coffee one morning, which held us over until we could make it to the local market. Plenty of room to get out and about. The property itself is stunningly beautiful. The pool was still open (we were there in late September and early October) and while it was chilly, it was refreshing and provided a quiet place to relax in the sun. We walked about the property and a few other trails suggested by Eloise, meeting other travelers on their own walk about. Just 20 minutes south of Siena, there is much to do in the area. All in all, we had a delightful rest for seven days and nights. The night provided beautiful skies filled with stars. The days were mostly filled with sunshine and the fragrant scents of trailing flowers on the vine. Thank you!

Tuscany dream

This property is gorgeous and Eloise and Franco were such amazing hosts! Here is a summary of what we loved but you'll have to reserve a spot yourself in order to truly experience this amazing place. -Natural charm of the building we stayed in with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and ready to go -Our hosts cooked for us one of the nights and it was delicious. Fresh meat and cheese tray, beef roast, wild boar, and dessert. All from product on their property. -The setting was very picturesque with amazing sunsets -Only 30 minute drive to Sienna and Montolcino. I recommend going to both of these spots. -5 minute drive from a nice grocery store in Murlo which was perfect as we had a full kitchen and were able to make our own meals a couple of the nights we stayed -Again I'll mention how wonderful the hosts were. So nice and accommodating. Both speak English in case you do not know Italian. Enjoy your stay - we certainly did!! Joe

A Gorgeous Spot in Tuscany

We had a lovely stay here with family. A reunion of 11 people, and we fit nicely in the larger villa. The pool area is very nice, and the hosts are very gracious to allow families to swim at any hour. Meals can be arranged if desired. We chose to do this once (for the day we arrived only). There is a small grocery store 15 minutes away by car and the larger villa comes with a full kitchen so it was easier for us to cook for the family. Our host was also very helpful in providing recommendations for things to do in the area. You must have your own car to explore. We drove to Montalcino on a few occasions to have lunch or dinner. The wineries are everywhere but our favorites were the Mozart Winery and the Solaria Winery. Siena is about a 30 minute drive and worth seeing. All in all, a great spot for larger groups, and families. The hosts are very welcoming and the grounds are gorgeous, complete with their own garden, pool area, and lounging areas with beautiful Tuscan views. We love Tuscany and will certainly come again! Eloise is a wonderful host

The home is exactly as advertised. The location is perfect to visit Siena, Florence, Pisa, and many other great locations. Eloise recommended several restaurants during our stay that were charming and very delicious homemade pasta. We accepted Eloise's offer to cook us dinner one evening and we were very happy with the wild boar ragu, homemade pasta with bolognese, homemade breads and apple pie! To accompany we also enjoyed the olive oil and chianti, both made on the farm - very scrumptious!
