This was a wonderful place and location . We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Lincoln St. Although we didn't see Jim , he called us and made us feel so welcomed and available. The second floor apartment was sunny and warm. There was everything you needed. My husband loved the office space. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous location, delightful apartment

I loved this apartment- it is sunny and spacious. I spent a lot of time on the front porch, watching the neighbors come and go. The bed was really comfy, the water pressure in the roomy shower was super, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Jim and Jeanne are terrific hosts- easily accessible and full of great suggestions. I would return in a heartbeat.

Portsmouth Condo

I had a wonderful time at your lovely condo. Felt right at home as soon as I opened the door. Easy access to all the amenities Portsmouth, New Hampshire has to offer. I especially enjoyed walking to Prescott Park. The gardens were beautiful. It was easy to contact, Jeanne and Jim, about anything at anytime. Thank you for your kindness, Barbara

Classic Portsmouth Vintage Apartment

The apartment was perfect for my needs. It was clean and well equipped. I enjoyed the ease of walking to town through the park, and the on-site parking was a plus. The neighbors are very friendly. The exterior and stairwell need sprucing up (which I understand will happen this year), but you will be pleasantly surprised by the contrast when you enter the apartment. It's a beautiful classic apartment in an older building.

Fabulous Location!

Condo was within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth, Strawbery Banke and Prescott Park. It was close to the old colonial homes near the water and a quick walk over the bridge into Maine. The condo was updated and clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of kitchen appliances and utensil. Market Basket, the local supermarket, was close-by, and Trader Joe's and Whole Foods was in the next town. The nearest beach was a 20 minute drive. All in all, it was a pleasure to stay at this condo and to enjoy all the amenities it had to offer.

Great Location for all of Portsmouth's best

This was a great location. Close walking distance to downtown Portsmouth but just far away enough to be in a nice quiet neighborhood. This condo is in an older building. The building itself could use some upkeep but the condo itself is updated and very comfortable. We loved getting to know the neighbors while sitting on the front porch. I would guess that our stay was longer than most but we had everything we needed to make it very comfortable. As another reviewer already stated, a grill would be a nice addition. Property was as described in the listing and owners were more than welcoming and very responsive although we did not have any issues.

summer stay

We enjoyed this small apartment, nice size for 2 people. Had everything we needed for our month long stay. This is a multi-family building with our residents being friendly. The common entry stairway gets a little dirty with dog hair, but the apartment itself was very clean and organized. The neighbor is very family friendly, lots of neighbors out chatting and walking. Great park, weekly farmer's market near buy. Easy walk to downtown Portsmouth. The off street parking and garage space to store our bikes was a nice bonus.

Great Portsmouth Apartment

Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment for short or longer stay in Portsmouth. Wonderful location, easy walking distance to town. Well equipped kitchen and living areas that covers pretty much all you would need. We loved it, would certainly stay here again.

I feel so lucky to have found this place!!!

I rented this place in Portsmouth and had the best experience. Jim and Jeanne are the nicest people. I have talked with them a few times during my stay They are always so responsive. Location can’t be beat. It’s a quick 5 minute walk to downtown and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Love the house. Plenty of room for all the company I have had this summer. Countless hours have been spent with family and friends enjoying the great front porch. Hoping to rent again soon.

Great location, clean, friendly hosts

The location of this condo is perfect for families. We spent the day at the beach and our two boys rode their bikes with us through the park every evening. Plenty to do in downtown Portsmouth and the surrounding area. Condo was clean, had everything we needed to cook and even a garage for our bikes and boogie boards. We loved our stay.

Condo on Portsmouth

Jean and Jim's home was lovely and the location was brilliant. We were able to walk, ride our bikes everywhere and get to all parts of town easily but at the same time the condo was in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with both food items and also cooking utensils. The condo is very tasteful and ample. really loved staying there.

Nice 2nd floor apartment

This lovely 2nd floor apartment is one of 3 in a beautifully designed Victorian home. The back stairway is narrow and may be difficult for some to maneuver. The front stairs, however, were much easier to climb. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. The stocked kitchen was wonderful! Towels were plentiful, though we could have used a few more washcloths – but with the availability of the basement laundry, we were able to remedy that minor inconvenience. One thing we wished we had was access to a grill. The TV/cable was nice, though we didn’t use it often. There was a small assortment of games, playing cards, and puzzles available. The office was well stocked with maps and pamphlets of area attractions that were very helpful and much appreciated. Location, Location, Location. You can’t find a better location if your visit centers around the Portsmouth area. The house in located in a kid & pet friendly neighborhood. It is a short 5-10 min walk from Market Square and the many dining, shopping, park areas. We enjoyed some beautiful gardens and free music in the park. We were a short drive from area beaches. Jim, Jeanne, and their caretaker, Carol, were pleasant and easy to work with. Thumbs up to this property.

Vacation in Porthsmouth

All the comforts of home

We had such a nice time staying in this home. We were away with another couple and didn't feel cramped at all. There was coffee, teas and other goodies already stocked for us. Everything was immaculate. The front porch was a nice treat to sit down in the morning and have coffee on. We would defiantly stay here again.

Very comfortable and neat.

In the short time we stayed there it was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Location is a plus and provided us with access to everything we wanted to do and friends we visited. Would stay there again. Portsmouth is a great City to visit.
