Great place to stay! Spacious, clean, well stocked. Highly recommend this rental. The owners are so nice. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town. Definitely one of my favorite places we have ever rented.

The rental was very clean and looked like new. The kitchen was well stocked which my wife enjoyed. The beds were very comfortable and the setting was quiet. We enjoyed an hour walk around Gerrish Island to see the pretty homes, flower gardens and ocean views. Also, we walked to the Chauncy Creek Lobster Pier for fresh & tender lobster rolls for lunch. We found Pickle Ball courts an easy 15 minutes away in Portsmouth and while there we bought a few things at the Portsmouth Farmers Market. Kittery Point and Portsmouth are wonderful places to visit for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend this rental.

Immaculate and spacious lower level of home with all the amenities you'll ever need. Great location with easy access to kayaking, hiking and beachcoming and close to shops and restaurants in Kittery and charming town of Portsmouth. Highly recommend!

Great retreat!

Had a wonderful stay. The apartment was even better than the photographs very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped. Located in a very beautiful area Laurie and Chris were the perfect hosts. Would highly recommend! Hoping to return soon!

Laurie and Chris are perfect hosts and have a lovely apartment. They are very friendly, excellent communicators, and seemed to anticipate any question that we had and provided thoughtful, detailed answers and suggestions for activities. They take immaculate care of their property. The apartment is newly and beautifully renovated, has top of the line appliances, furniture, linens/towels, and kitchenware. The quiet air conditioner and bedroom fans kept us cool and comfortable during the few days of unprecedented heat. The location is ideal - walking distance to the creek with easy access for kayaking, Tower Beach, and Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier. One of the highlights was the screened porch with very comfortable furniture - an ideal spot for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails while listening to the birds and watching for the deer that wander through the yard. We (three adults stayed in the apartment, with our adult children visiting during the day) look forward to returning next year!

Well appointed unit, clean, well equipped kitchen. The small touches, flowers, breakfast basics - (coffee, tea, half n’half even some bananas and small muffins!). Laurie was very accommodating and shared lots of good input for local walks, restaurants, etc. Quiet and peaceful.

Paradise Found

The experience with this location, property and host topped the list of all other rentals we have used over the years.The property was a pristine condition, the location was truly tranquil. Lovely walks down the very quiet street to take in nature and perfect, private dock on the property made it even more special.The host of the propriety was a true gem! She made our stay even more remarkable!

All the comforts of Home

Beautiful spotless property with all your needs anticipated. Fresh flowers and quick grab snacks provided by host. The beds were so comfortable and furnishings and linens were top quality. Our hosts was quick to respond to any questions. Simply a great stay and we would return again.

We loved it — the hosts, the apartment, the location - all perfect. The apartment is so much bigger than I anticipated; the hosts were great with check in/check out communication, providing local recommendations for dinner, and proactively leaving us 4 umbrellas because someone checked the weather (them) and someone did not (me). We will book again for sure .

Best VRBO I have stayed in. Pictures of property understate the beauty of the area and of the thoughtful, tasteful internal decor. The owner Laurie provided basics of coffee, tea, treats, negating a run to the store upon arrival. Checkout was much like a hotel process vs. typical VRBO. Our stay was more like a 5 star experience. Great restaurants, beaches in the area with a lot to do. Laurie is an exceptional hostess and does all to ensure a great experience. Highly recommend - hidden gem.

The Best VRBO I've every stayed in!

Laurie's place was the best! She's thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The apartment was spotless and stocked with everything you need to cook. I love all the nice touches like cream and coffee, and even fresh flowers. The apartment is situated in a quiet location, surrounded by wonderful birds and wildlife. It is below the main house, but a separate driveway and entrance make it very private. I will definitely stay here again and look forward to it next time we visit Kittery Point. A gem of a place, you will be impressed!

We spent three glorious nights at Laurie’s two bedroom home.It was beyond fabulous. We had stopped at Costco on the way to check in and purchased all the food items we thought we would need for our stay. When we arrived Laurie had already stocked the refrigerator with eggs and creamer as well as coffee and tea with snacks including her garden grown tomatoes! What a surprise and so unexpected! She has thought of everything as a 5 star vacation. It was getting cooler and she placed down comforters from the dry cleaners on our front porch!They are the best hosts and you will be pleased with your stay!
