Incredible

We lived this place. It was just what we needed for the two of us. Bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook and the outdoor setup was incredible! We are already looking forward to returning. Don’t hesitate to book!

Ocean Melody 2

The outdoor space was super relaxing, and it was amazing to see monkeys and colorful birds while sitting outside! and being able to walk to the panaderia, and beach was such an added bonus.thank you!

Beautiful cabin

The place was really nice! The property is well maintained and the host provided all the information needed to access it. It had a nice porch and the garden was beautiful. The pool was clean and it offered a cool place to relax. Behind the property there is a forested area where we could see tucans and macaws in their natural habitat which was awesome! I’m glad I was able to get to stay here!

Fantastic

Such a pleasent stay at OM2. Beautiful property with the national park as your backyard. Hosts extremely helpful. Bikes were great for cruising this fantastic beach town. Pura vida.

All you’d ever need for a couples stay.

Great location, great pool, great grounds and complete privacy for a great price. All you need for a couple at an affordable price with an added bonus of Maca’s in the trees above the property. 1km walk to the national park entrance, a.k.a The Whales Tail. Loved our 4 night stay and Massi, the host, was fantastic to deal with. He provided very thorough instructions for the rental. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Nice quiet getaway!

The property was very nice and secluded. The pool was wonderful and we really enjoyed laying in the hammock in the cool evening. The ac in the bed room was a great after a long day out in the sun. Plenty of wildlife around but still not invasive. Close enough to walk to several places but in a quiet little area minus the construction next door. Definitely would recommend this little gem!

We had a great time and especially enjoyed the little resident kitty who welcomed us from the minute we arrived! The bed and outdoor furniture were all very comfortable. The couch/pullout bed left a lot to be desired so we mostly stayed outside and didn’t watch any TV in the evenings. But that was fine because we got to watch the monkeys instead!

What a dream this location was! There is so much wildlife right in the trees behind the house! The place was perfect for us! Close to everything but felt so private. There was even a neighborhood kitty that would come visit us during the day. She’s very friendly and will try and sneak in if you aren’t quick enough with the screen door hahaha the pool is perfect to beat the heat. There is only a few hours where there is no shade on the pool at all. We were so sad to leave! Massi (the property manager) is so thorough in their communication. Answered every question before we could think of it. The instructions are all very easy to follow. I hope we have the opportunity to go back!

Beautiful property in Quiet Neighborhood

The place was a bit difficult to find at first, but if you read Massi's instructions (which are long) you will be able to find it. The property was gorgeous and the home was small but had everything you need. We enjoyed spending time on the patio and new elevated reading/yoga area. The home is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the National Park, but then it takes another ~20 minutes to get to the Whale's tail. Overall, the place was perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Just as described

We loved everything about is this property , perfect for 2 adults. Close to many of beaches including 1 within walking distance, restaurants, and grocery store. Communication from beginning and in between was always clear and timely. Getting up early was a must for us to enjoy all of natures activity and beautiful sounds. The pool was used multiple times daily, clean ,warm water. Highly recommend this spot!

Would rent it again

Right at the edge of the jungle, we saw endless animals . from monkey to macaws ant toucans, even crabs. We ditched the car after two days as planned and walked everywhere after that. Beach is close, as are plenty of restaurants, laundry, even a barber at the end of the street. It's small but perfect for those who spend their days exploring and return to a wonderful pool before dinner.

3 incredible weeks at my dream home

The home: Cozy and beautiful. The AC works wonderfully, and when we (rarely) came in from the sun, we loved relaxing in a cool bedroom. The internet is fast and reliable-- we worked 2/3 weeks and never had any issues. (There were a few power outages... But they lasted less < 2 minutes.)

Absolutely Amazing!

This was my fourth trip to Costa Rica and by far my favorite. Everyday we were visited by 2 different types of monkeys, and Scarlet Mccaws. The community was also a plus. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The only "downside" was the wifi. It worked when it wanted...but who needs to check email when your in paradise? I will absolutely be back!

We stayed at Ocean Melody 2 for a total of 12 days in January. It is situated a ten minute walk, or 5 minute bike ride to the entrance of Marina Ballena National Park where a beautiful beach offers miles of fine sand for walks, swims and plenty of spots to sit amongst the soaring palm trees and watch the waves. As well amenities such as stores, banks, restaurants and shops were short walks or bike rides away. Massi and Adriano provided detailed information regarding Ocean Melody 2 and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The casita was thoughtfully organized and with many screened windows we rarely needed to use air conditioning. It had a well stocked kitchen making food preparation easy. But by far, the finest part of our stay was enjoying many hours in the spectacular garden that was completely private. From early morning coffee on the raised sitting platform watching an array of birds take flight, to frequent swims in the private pool and quiet dinners outside in the evening warmth, the property was a tranquil tropical oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Uvita and are already planning our next visit.

INCROYABLE

Le logement de Massi est tout à fait magnifique ! Nous avons pu profiter du soleil au bord de la piscine , des hamacs et des transats ! Lors de notre séjour, nous avons pu observer dans le jardin des toucans, des singes, des Arras et pleins d’autres animaux ! Massi est vraiment un très bon hôte, réponds directement aux questions! De plus, aucun vis à vis dans le logement. Le logement contient de plus un parking privé et un système d’alarme. Le logement se trouve dans un endroit calme, avec pas trop loin un supermarché, des restaurants et pour les Français une boulangerie ! Séjour au top, je recommande fortement!

Amazing Porperty

This was a great property. It had a swimming pool and an observation deck. The property is pretty secluded since there are walls of plants that block the view from the road. I would definitely recommend this property to others!!!

Ocean Melody 2

Amazing little place. For those that want privacy, but still be walking distance to everything in the area, this is the place for you! You can hear the sounds of the ocean when the birds and other wildlife aren't whooping it up. Regular flyovers by scarlet macaws, visits by toucans, and other birds. Capuchin monkeys visited 2 of our 3 days. Landscaping on the property is simply gorgeous! The owners were very prompt to respond to any questions we had, including "What's making the burrows in the yard?" ...Frogs! Highly recommend for a single or a couple that wants to get away for a long weekend.

Fantastic Oasis

Our time at Ocean Melody 2 was amazing. I could not have enjoyed our 2 weeks more and was sad to leave. The national park as the backyard is phenomenal. We had monkeys, maccaws, toucans, iguanas and all types of birds. The new lookout was my favorite place in the morning. Laundry service is just down the street and very easy/fast. We will definitely be back. Massi is very responsive when you have questions. A couple things to note: (none reasons not to give 5 stars): - Bring extra towels 2 house, 2 pool are provided, it with showers, pool and beaches you will want more. They normally dry out before morning of left our early enough. - We worked part-time while we were there and had great service in the day. The weather can make the internet drop in the area, not for long maybe 2 minutes max, but if you need to work at night important to note. - There also was construction of a new house across the street, not something Massi could control but it did take away and was loud at times. This is temporary just wished it hadn’t aligned with our vacation.

Casa mélodie 2 , super séjour !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Une petite maison très intime dans la nature magnifique , proche de la mer et dans un beau cartier sécuritaire .Nous avons vue des singes , des iguanes , toucan et plusieurs sorte d’oiseaux. Le seul bémol était que le lit n’est pas très confortable, très dur et les oreillers laisse à désirer . Pour le reste parfait .

Paradise

Our family of 4 stayed here for just two nights and wish we’d stayed longer. The beaches are so secluded and gorgeous and Massi was an amazing host. Excellent communication prior to arrival that answered everything about the house and the area and available to answer questions when we arrived. Beautiful spot, it felt so fancy for our family, very private and beautiful pool. We truly loved it here and would recommend it to anyone. Yummy food a walk down the street called Falafel Uvita too!

Very nice and cute cottage

We stayed there for 8 days, and the cottage is wonderful. It is big enough for two adults and has a nice garden and a pool. It is not that far from the beach and good restaurants, supermarket and other shops are also very close. We enjoyed every day of our stay. The only annoying thing was that the bed creaked a lot. Massi is always available and if there is aproblem, he reacts in a very fast way But the accommodation is absolutely recommendable. Perhaps we will come back at any time.

Amazing in every way

We booked to stay at Ocean Melody last year but because of Covid and not being able to travel out of the USA we had to postpone. Massi had no problems with letting us reschedule and was very responsive throughout all of it. This was our first time in Costa Rica and we are so happy we decided to stay at this home and town. EVERYTHING was so amazing! The home is a private oasis with so many bonuses. We saw so many different kinds of birds, lizards, and monkeys. Our last day there we had a monkey in our backyard. There is lots of wildlife you just have to keep your eye open for it :). The pool was perfect cool us off during the day and felt like bath water at night! There is a lady that does laundry right down the road, her and her son are very nice people. Everyone was really nice that we met. The food was so fresh and delicious every place we tried. And there really is so much in walking distance. We booked a 5hr ATV ride in the Jungle as well and did horseback riding on the beach for sunset. Sonia sent us that extra tour bookings. We will definitely return. Thank you Massi for everything. It was exactly what we needed!! Oh yeah he also added a watch tower for another view of the mountains. Words and pictures don't do it justice this is a must see for yourself❤

Private and Peaceful

We loved our stay at Ocean Melody 2. The house is walking distance from Whale Tail beach and multiple restaurants and grocery stores/shops. The new observation deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and yoga. Massi was very responsive and flexible as our plans changed. It was the perfect spot for our honeymoon and the only thing I would change would have been more comfortable pillows. We loved our stay and highly recommend this spot if you want to be in a private and quiet area, close to the beach.
