Our only miscommunication was the parking pass at the gate.. we arrived late and had to purchase the pass with our phone… next time we will try to get that Done before we arrive.

We stay at Gulf Shores Plantation every year for almost 20 yearsthis review is about the condo we stayed in, NOT GSP! We've stayed in lots of different condos at this location, and this was probably the worstwhen you walk in, you smell stale smoke, lights are very confusing (switches don't work, you use remote control), wifi password on board isn't correct, huge rug in living room is stained horribly, microwave door is taped/glued, several doors in kitchen are loose, master bathroom is TINY and you can't flush toilet but 4 or 5 uses, toilet is about to come out of wall, juice bottles and chip bags found under bed, didn't find wristbands for indoor pool til night before leaving. Positive: LOTS of pool and beach accessories in master closet! Wagons, chair, toys, etc and lots of hangersI answered text after leaving about "how was your stay" and no one from Poole associates ever got back in touch. I will mark this condo as "don't rent again" for future stays

The property as a whole was amazing! The pool was great. The beach was accessible and the view was amazing. When we checked in our room was dirty. Things hadn’t been wiped down, floors weren’t vacuumed and every dish that we took out of the cabinet was filthy. They were either greasy or had food caked on them like they were just out in the cabinets. We didn’t receive the right amount of towels or wash clothes for the amount of guests we had and had to request them. Even after requesting we didn’t get extra wash clothes just towels. Overall for the price we paid we had high expectations for the cleanliness of the utensils and dishes in the condo. Coming into a dirty condo ruined the whole vibe for the trip from the start. We hardly cooked there because we didn’t want to wash every dish before we could even do so.

I give it a 4 star because one we had a toilet issue that wasn't taken care of while we were there and the master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable very firm mattress but will not reflect us staying there again enjoy our time and stay there every time we come down twice a year great location and amenities are awesome.

We loved the condo that we stayed in, it was very nice and love the view of the ocean and beach!

We thought the property was extremely nice and it was in a good location to the beach and a nice view of the ocean! We enjoyed going to the beach and swimming in the ocean and the pool! We had a good time there and hated to leave, we will definitely come back again! Thank you for our wonderful time in Gulf Shores!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!The condo was clean and organized. While the building didn’t match the photos, the actual location of this unit was better than the one shown in the listing photos. We were inside the gates instead of facing the parking lot, which was very nice. Being on the ground floor made everything so convenient. Our only complaint was that the upstairs neighbors sounded like bulls in a china shop. There was also one beige fabric chair that looked a little questionable, so we covered it before sitting in it. Not a deal breaker though. Check-in, check-out and getting our parking pass were all super easy. We loved being outside the busy tourist area while still being just a short drive from everything.The boardwalk connects directly to the resort, so we never had to cross a street to get to the beach. The beach is not viewable from the unit, but the photos of the unit and the view from the unit is accurate. The pools and resort were great and clean. We also loved the family-friendly atmosphere.Communication from the rental company was excellent, especially with weather updates during the tropical storm. Tips: Bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags as you’re only given 1-2 of each item to start your stay. If you use the sleeper sofa, the linens are in the coffee table drawer. We found them while packing to leave, haha. Overall, we highly recommend this unit, resort and management company.

Condo was a little smaller than expected, however overall very nice!

We enjoyed our time in the condo. It was a little smaller than expected for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Very relaxing and can’t wait to go back!!

Nice condo

Property was nice and location was good toward the front and facing the inside with pools. Plenty of towels. Only a few minor issues involving kitchen lighting and front door. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Family trip to the beach

Location and resort are great. Property mgt was great. Condo was well sticked but furniture is in bad need of update and decluttering. Otherwise perfect.

Fun Vacation !!!

We had a wonderful stay at Fort Morgan. The location of the condo was perfect. We had small childern so the ground level was exactly what we needed. We did need to use the pullout sofa bed. Unfortunately there were no linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basics. I would recommend this to anyone. However using the laundry was alittle trouble as the debit/ credit feature didn't work. But is did take coins.

Not happy

Kitchen was too small. Was told you could see the beach and you couldn’t. To far from beach. Condo needs to be updated. There were dead bugs on the floor. Master bathroom was really small

Nice condo

This condo unit was very nice. However, the listing failed to tell us that the entire complex was under massive renovations. We had to park at one end of the complex and walk thru 3 buildings to get to our unit. No one monitors the hot tub to make sure there aren't kids playing in it. While we attempted to use it there was a group that had young kids in it and the kids were splashing and trying to swim in it. Would probably be a much better place to stay once renovations are completed.

Disappointing

The unit it’s self was ok. The grounds and access to the beach were great. Property was 12 miles out from Gulf Shores. Three places to eat nearby, a dollar general and a market to get incidentals close by. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Issues: Pulled dirty dishes and silverware out of cupboards. Some of the cookware and cooking utensils had dried food on them. No toilet paper or soap in master bathroom. Light fixture in second bedroom did not work. Furniture needs cleaned or replaced. The unit was very cluttered. The bedding was worn. Contact was made on second day with no call back.

Nice place

There were 8 of us that stayed in this condo (4 adults & 4 kids under 10). The building this unit is in has been updated recently. Our pro’s are the cleanliness, the updates, unit is on the 1st floor, and the close proximity to the beach and pools. Our con’s were how tiny the kitchen is, the mattresses are super uncomfortable on all of the beds, the water pressure in the showers along with the shower heads were not good - contemplated washing my long hair in the sink, and the garbage disposal did not work at all and water started leaking under the sink onto the floor - maintenance did come and look at it and was supposed to replace it but they never did. We were unable to wash dishes or run the dishwasher our last 3 days. Communication with Poole & Associates was really good, they definitely responded in a timely manner and sent maintenance over, that was the pro over the disposal issue. Overall, I think we would stay here again and just need to bring a mattress pad or sleeping bag to lay down on the mattress so we wouldn’t feel the springs with every move.

Nice place but needs some improvements!

We have been “spring breaking” At Gulf Shores Plantation for 7 years. Staying in different condos most of the time. We love the Plantation and all that it has to offer that’s why I gave the “stars”…. this condo… love that it is on the ground floor. It has all the needs for your stay. BUT… it is has SO much useless furniture in it! I mean every once of space has some form of furniture. To the point you’re stubbing your toe at least once. Another issue is, if your not one to check your email… you’re surprised at the guard gate of a additional parking charge of $20-40+ depending on the amount of people staying in the condo. My thought… just add it to the rental cost. In the 7 years of renting … this was the first time I’ve ever had to do this. So it must have been just added into the cost of the weekly rental. Which makes more sense to me The hassle of having to stop at the rental management office first was also something that is a bit excessive. We will be back to the Plantation but will make sure not to rent from this particular management or condo.

Clean room, spacious, organized and well decorated! The beach is just a couple of steps away from the property, with clear water, white sand and super clean! The costumer service is great they are In touch with you as soon as you make your reservation, they make the check in smooth and quick, their prices are fair! We will definitely visit again!

Our stay

I misspelled my email and didn’t get some correspondence. I wasn’t aware of this and didn’t get information about check in etc. once we connected all went well. Would have rather not have had to go by rental office prior to going to condo but minor issue. Hot tub out of order while we were there which was disappointing. Otherwise awesome stay!

2021 Noefun

All good. No 3rd parking pass was annoying

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. During peak season, complexes limit the number of parking passes they sell so that all units can have 2 parking passes. We understand this is frustrating. They are more lenient if you come after Labor Day.

Great first floor unit

The convenience of the first floor is well worth it. There were a few stains on some Furniture and appliances, but otherwise very clean.
