We were absolutely blown away with the property and all of the staff there!! Pictures do not do the villa justice - it was stunning beyond words!! The hosts, chef, and other staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating! We got married at the villa and everything went so incredibly smoothly and again, was more beautiful than we could have imagined.

I cannot express how amazing our stay was at Costola. My husband and I were married here and it was one of the best weekends of our life. We hosted 24 of our closest friends and family and had the wedding and reception here as well. I worked with Marie to plan this wedding for over a year and a half and everything was seamless and even better than I could have imagined. We opted for the pizza dinner for our reception and the owners meal for our wedding dinner and everything was delicious, the wine was perfect, and everything was made from scratch. The owners were so lovely and they truly made you feel at home. I couldn’t recommend this enough for a small intimate wedding. The scenery was beautiful, the space is big enough that it doesn’t feel like everyone is on top of each other, and the food was some of the best I’ve had on my trip to Italy. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Wonderful stay

Everything was absolutly georgeous! Rosalba and her Hausband Are wonderful hosts and the housesand, gardens and terrasses are magnificient. We can definitiv recommend this Placement we will Gary to come back.

A true gem!

This property has amazing views and an amazing experience. Close to a lot of small towns to visit. Less than and hour away from Lucca. This property is a true gem and the owners are fantastic. Do not miss out on their pizza night.

Unforgettable stay in a fabulous, historic setting. We were celebrating a special birthday with friends and couldn’t have found a more perfect, relaxed setting in which to enjoy the occasion.The apartments and grounds provide ample space for a large party with a backdrop of the Tuscan countryside and view of the Appian Alps. The hosts are kind and considerate, and the meal we had catered by the staff was lovely. Every day was an adventure walking in nature, by lakes, forests, swimming or hanging out around the pool.

WOW! The villa was even better than in photos. We did not speak the same language as the hosts, but they did absolutely everything they could to make our stay perfect! We hosted our wedding here with 21 people, including ourselves. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The venue, food, vendors, etc. were just wonderful. If you're on the fence about this listing, this is your sign to book it!

This property is beyond spectacular. Exquisitely beautiful. My wife began to cry as we walked into the courtyard for the first time because it was so much more lovely than we dared to expect. We had a celebration of our marriage here with our family and enjoyed a dinner in the olive garden and a pizza night where the host prepared pizza in the wood fired oven. The host and his wife were lovely people. Our whole stay there was like a dream. The view is spectacular. Words don't do justice to it.

Family holiday in Tuscany

Fantastic house! Spectacular views. Even better than the photos. We were a group of 29. Ranging from 2 to 80 years old. We enjoyed the pool and dinners outside. Everyone had a wonderful time.

The Most Beautiful Tuscan Villa

My spouse and I held our wedding here and it was beyond perfect. We are from the states and had a group of 20 join us for the weekend of our wedding. The villa was more perfect than we all imagined! The owners were very friendly and Marie the coordinator was amazing. Our wedding dinner was made by the owner and it was so delicious. I couldn’t recommend this property more- we can’t wait to go back one day.

It was simply magical!

Our week at this location was simply amazing!!! Remote, in the mountains with magical sights. One could truly feel in the clouds. The hosts were kind and super friendly, and the place and the food were incredible. Both of the hosts were just amazing and always willing to help. No matter what request or wish, there were always more than willing to help and give recommendations. It felt like a little piece of home :) I can only recommend your stay there!

Cycling in Costola

We were a group of 11 persons. The house was perfect for a large group. Everyone had his own bedroom with private bathroom but we had all meals together. If you like to cook, the house is really well equipped with kitchen facilities. The host was very helpful and attentive. We will be back.

Amazing wedding weekend

We celebrated our wedding here over 5 days with 27 family and friends and we had the most amazing experience. The place is spectacular! It is more beautiful than the pictures can show. Plenty of space for a large group that we never felt on top of each other. Area has many places to explore but you may also not want to leave the beautiful villa! The owners were incredible and celebrated with us throughout the weekend as well. The food cooked by the owners and their team was also amazing. Planning process was very smooth and easy. Definitely book this!!

large group (6 families) summer vacation

great and spacy property with very different syle and size appartments. Some have great view others are rather small with no view. Pool and pizza oven ar great to enjoy relaxing and joint cooking. Many options to spend time outdoor (hicking, bycicling, city tours). Very friendly host family who gave us an introduction to the history of the building, a tour to the church tower and allowed us to harvest fresh tomatoes in the garden.

For future guests please note that the smallest by far one bedroom 'apartment' within the house is 475 sq feet (44 sqm), and the largest is 659 sq feet (61.2 sqm) . The 2 bedroom 'apartments' on offer within the facility are larger.

A wonderful family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was wonderful! We are so lucky to have experienced such a beautiful and peaceful part of Italy! The villa was lovely, even better than we had imagined! It worked really well for our large group. We made good use of the bbq and outdoor living areas. The meals we had prepared for us by Rosalba and Amadeo were delicious and made for lovely evenings! We would recommend this property highly. The location was perfect for a relaxing stay but also close enough to well known and out of they way places for sightseeing. And the owners/staff are very welcoming, helpful, lovely people. If only we could have stayed longer!

It really is as good as the photos

When we were offered this property as a late booking last summer we thought it could not be as amazing as the photos, but it was. We stayed in the smaller farmhouse building in a well appointed 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. The view from both balconies was stunning and we ate all our meals outside. Having the pool on site was great. We didn't get out and about as much as we had hoped because the location was wonderfully relaxing. There were enough restaurants and shopping facilities in the area and the owners were very accommodating, popping in regularly to check everything was ok. We would fully recommend this property to larger groups wanting to holiday together.

How to you describe an experience that had absolutely everything I dreamed of and could have wished for. My husband and I invited both our families to stay with us at Costola. We were 24 people and everybody fit more than well. Our wedding was a dream. The wonderful owners of Costola provided the most incredible experience with pizza night, a wedding dinner that will be remembered for generations, I cannot thank them enough for the way they have created pure magic during these days. They have helped us with every question with a smile on their faces.I have traveled around the globe and been to 40 countries, but Costola is the place that finally captured my heart. The scenery is indescribable. The houses are beautifully decorated, clean and is equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday. The view from the wonderful pool leaves you in awe. My family and I are so thankful that we got to experience this, and to visit this place. To plan our wedding at Costola we had Marie as a wedding planner. I'm not exagerating when I say, our week at Costola was the best time of our lives! I planned my half Indian, micro destination wedding here. We took a huge chance, since we could not see the venue beforehand, or taste test the food, and I knew we also had very different cultural requirements than most weddings at the property. But from the first reply Marie sent us, I knew booking Costola was the right decision. She was exceptional in her communication and her organization. We trusted that all would go well when we got there, and it did. The owners and their staff were so accomodating. From the check in day, to our welcome dinner, to our Haldi, to the actual wedding, everything ran flawlessly. As for the property itself, pictures dont do it justice. It was breathtaking to see the ancient stone walls and the mountain views behind it in person. Every guest that stayed with us was obsessed with the beauty we were surrounded by, and said it was one of the best trips they've ever been on.The food? Delicious! The views? Incredible. The owners? Life of the party! They danced with us through the night, and I was so happy to see them enjoying themselves! Our week at Costola was a core memory for all our family and friends, that we will forever cherish. Thank you Marie, the owners, and your whole team!

We were 24 friends celebrating life! We fell in love with the place and the hosts! Amedeo & Rosanna are the best! They were always available for anything we needed which is was not too much to be honest. They also have amazingly friendly staff to help. We had lots of fun, enjoyed the pool and hanging out. The property is a lot bigger than expected and feels so peaceful. Also, it is located within a 10 minute drive to a beautiful little town that has everything you need, from supermarkets to great bars and restaurants. The town also has a train station that can connect you to bigger cities such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, etc. This was a vacation we will not forget and I recommend this place to everybody!

Great family stay in a beautiful setting

We were looking for a place in Italy that worked for a large extended family, and this worked out great for us. The lodging has wonderful shared spaces, lovely grounds, and expansive views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The hosts were responsive, and helpful, and very friendly. We booked two meals through the catering option, and these were highlights of the trip, with everyone talking about how great the food was and how fun to have it served in such a great place. I was the one who organized this, and it was the first time we'd ever taken this kind of international trip together. Although the web site looked great, I was still a little nervous that it would work for people in such a large, diverse group of family, but I can say without hesitation that it exceeded our expectations. We'll be talking for years about the wonderful memories we made here.
