Everything was great! Well thought-out equipment and layout. My only suggestion would be to make sure renters realized that there is no bathroom on the upper floor. With small children (or less agile adults) who might try to get up in the night, the stairs pose a hazard. Even having a half bath up there would be very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We found this property to be exactly what we were looking for in the Swanton area. Quiet, scenic and not that far from restaurants and shopping.

The house was the perfect setup for me, as far as sleeping arrangements. It was clean, in a great area, and very comfortable. We had access to a beach, so we were able to play on the frozen lake. I would love to go back in the summer.

Perfect Weekend Away!

Check in was very straightforward and we were pleased to see that all amenities listed were available. The location was ideal, we were never more than a 15 minute drive from our destination and thuroughly enjoyed the wrap around deck.

The property was exactly what we were looking for to hang out as two small families.

Great experience at Wisp resort and local restaurants. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Would definitely book with the company again.

Loved this cabin! I was a little worried about the TV room being too small but it waa fine for 4 adults. Its winter so yes tv was necessary at times. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. My favorite thing about this cabin is the neighborhood. It was so pretty with all the trees and unique cabins. I would definitely recommend this cabin!! Also, Taylor Made was very responsive!

Our stay at Chasing Dreams was just lovely. The atmosphere of the space is cozy and warm, and the lights wrapped around the rafters in the great room are like something from a fairy tale. The kitchen has everything needed to fix a good meal, and the dining room table is perfect for board games and having supper with friends and family. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and bedding were very clean. Good water pressure in the showers. The hot tub was relaxing and also very clean. Overall, the space is incredibly maintained and comfortable. I would absolutely stay again!!

Quick Deep Creek trip

Cute and comfy cabin. Only issues were dealing with hot temps and upstairs area that seemed to have leak (gnats inside after rain).

While the property had some positive aspects, (nice living spaces & comfort) ; there were several issues that affected ourstay: A neighboring resident was unfriendly and rude, which made us feel uncomfortable. We returned back from dinner, to find her standing on our property (in the dark) and ambushed us to scold us about our dog barking. While there were several dogs barking in that neighborhood. I also didn’t appreciate Taylor-Made disrupting our vacation over this complaint. I feel it’s important to warn future guests of the problem neighbor. Additionally, the pantry had a strong odor resembling cat urine, and one of the bathrooms also had a noticeable urinesmell. Cleanliness and odor control are areas that need improvement. We hope these concerns are addressed for future guests. Just something as simple as changing the shower curtain liner after each stay, would make a difference.

Weekend Away

Stayed here with my family while we were visiting others at Deep Creek and it was very convenient to their place in Swanton. The house is very well stocked and comfortable for the 4 of us. I would stay there again!! Next time I will rent directly through Taylor Made Deep Creek Vacations and save myself money instead of going through VRBO.

Tranquility in the woods

My wife and I wanted to escape a hectic year and enjoy a peqceful Christmas. We found just what we wanted in this home. From the tasteful, charming decor, to the modern conveniences, the home was the right choice. The seasonal touches with the rafter lights added to the Christmas ambience, and the fireplace made it so cozy.

Cozy getaway

Stayed here with family over Christmas holiday. With severe winds and negative temps we lost electricity for 30min. On call staff was responsive, had an emergency plan, and checked in with us. Space as described, comfy beds, great showers, and nice hot tub.

Cute, cozy cabin

This is a great place to stay in the Deep Creek area. The house itself is cozy and neat with more than enough room for our family of four and our dog. Could easily accommodate 6 without feeling crowded. Plus, all the amenities we needed, especially the hot tub and firepit. Check-in and checkout process was clear and simple with a manual onsite with instructions for dealing with problems and getting around the area. The only hiccup we ran into was a quirky wi-fi when we first arrived. Still, we were quickly able to get a tech on the phone quickly who immediately solved the problem...from call to solution was approximately 10 minutes. I include this to highlight how responsive the host is. Would definitely book again. thx

Set up for everything but property is aging

The kids loved the house and the upstairs bedroom. I hit my head on a beam in that bedroom and stayed out of the room after that. It really needs to be identified as a child’s bedroom. The hot tub technician was there when we arrived and said it was broken and someone would come around at 9 the next day to check it out. When that person failed to show I called in a service order and heard nothing back. Nothing. 5 day stay. The bathroom floor between the bedrooms needs to be replaced as it harbors a urine smell regardless of how well you clean it. That detracted from the visit quite a lot. Nice setting and extra amenities such as the swing .

Labels everywhere

This is our third time renting at deep creek but the first time staying at a place that Taylor made managed. When we got there the code didn’t work which was annoying but their after hours emergency line was able to get us in with a new code. The rental was a little bit dated compared to the pics but over all a nice place, but the labels and rules!!! Literally everything had a label. Like no joke the parsley flakes in the cupboard had a ‘property of’ label. There were so many little rules like don’t move the deck furniture or don’t use this firewood use this pile etc that the overall feeling was very unwelcoming. There was one roll of tp for 2 bathrooms, no soap in second bathroom, no paper towels. . . When we left the instructions were to load and run the dishwasher and hand clean anything left over but there was no dishwashing detergent and no sponges to clean with so we weren’t able too. Overall the house was fine for our needs but we won’t be staying there again and will probably try to avoid a Taylor made managed property in the future.

The house was very clean and in a nice quiet area. There were a lot of fun things to do at the house. The hot tub was amazing, there were horseshoes to toss, a badminton net, and lots of board games. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the house never got too hot at night. The host sent detailed and easy to follow instructions for entering and leaving the property.

Perfect house for fall

We had a great long weekend getaway. The badminton in the back, fire pit, hot tub…it was all great. Perfect space for 3 couples and 2 young ones.

Mould

Mould in bathrooms and hot tub! Says lake access could find the dock that they say it has. Neighbor harassing us because of smoldering fire that we put out with a bucket of water and after it rained. To many rules. We will never stay here again.
