The property is beautiful with lots of pools and hot tubs, as with all big resorts there are never enough pool chairs but that’s my only complaint. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay! We are a family of 4, with a 6 and 3yr old. Ground level was perfect for our family as it was so easy to get in and out to the beach and pool. Steps to everything. Beach out front of Honua Kai is a little rocky in areas but great snorkeling and if you go down just a few yards, it’s sandy. Honua Kai resort has Duke’s right on site to grab easy dinner, multiples pools and even one with a slide. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed from chairs to beach toys and an umbrella. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

Great location and property

We had a great time here! It was clean and in a great location with great amenities. We would definitely come back and the management property was very professional and easy to get a hold of.

Paradise Defined

Everything you need to enjoy Maui. Three beautiful pools with drink and food service from Duke’s. Short walk to Kaanapali Beach for great snorkeling swimming and boogie boarding.

Best condo at Honua Kai

This was our 6th trip to Honua Kai, and this was our favorite location. Steps to the pool. Backyard was perfect for the kids. Views of the ocean from the lanai. Can’t wait to go back.

First Class Accomodations

This unit is first class in every way except it doesn’t have an ocean view. I would recommend staying here to family and friends.

Perfect!!

We absolutely loved our vacation to Hokulani 108! Check in was so simple and our questions were answered immediately! Being on the ground floor was amazing. We just grabbed the beach chairs and walked right out the slider and straight to the sand! This is going to be a place we visit again and again!

Great location and amenities!

We absolutely loved our stay and everything was exactly as described. It was very clean, had lots of amenities and the location was great! While we did not use the kitchen it is fully stocked to cook complete meals and they even provided coffee which was a nice touch. The lanai was also beautiful and a great place to just sit and relax while hearing the ocean. This property was also very private and quiet which was very nice to decompress after long days filled with activities. We will definitely be back!!!

Incredible Stay- everything was perfect

Our stay with Maui Westside was perfect. We've stayed and the Honua Kai before so we knew what the resort would be like. Room was good. Could not see the ocean from the Lanai, like the picture represents. You have to walk out a ways to see it. It was okay, but should make that known to other renters. All the knives in the Condo are very dull, should be sharpened or replaced.

Maui Stay

This was our first time to Maui & I’m so glad I chose this location. It was plenty big for our family of 4. I loved the extra beach toys and the open lawn. I would’ve liked a view of the ocean but it wasn’t too far away from the back door. My only complaint would be it smelled strongly of cleaning supplies the first day, and in my past experiences I’ve found people will hide the dirty by overpowering the scent to make it appear as if they cleaned. That wasn’t the case here though, it was very clean upon arrival. Would definitely stay again!

Even better than advertised

The property management team at Maui Westside makes everything easy with a light touch to ensure you have all your needs covered without being overbearing. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. The location on Kaanapali Coast is truly amazing, with endless snorkeling just a few steps from the patio door and plenty to see and do close by. Our condo was very well appointed with all of the necessary conveniences plus a few bonus amenities (like a bag of coffee on the counter and beach chairs in the closet) making our stay even better than advertised. Having a floor-level unit is incredibly convenient for beach and pool access. No stairs or elevators to deal with, just straight in and out of the room like it was home. Honua Kai staff were abundantly pleasant, parking was close and easy (and free!). All in all, it was a perfect stay and we can't wait to come back. Mahalo

Paradise Vacation

This property is beautiful! Very well kept with beautiful pools and vegetation surrounding the property. The condo was very spacious and was supplied with everything we needed for a perfect stay. When speaking with the Maui Westside Staff, they were pleasant and very accommodating. The daily walks along the beach were easy and enjoyable and everything that we needed as far as shopping and groceries were all in walking distance from the property. This proved to be a very relaxing vacation with no worries throughout our stay. Exactly what we were searching for. Thank you.

Great location and amenities

This condo was perfect for our family. One bedroom on the first floor with a back patio and lawn. We loved the quiet back area and room for our son to run around and be outside. The resort is kept up nicely with multiple pools, lazy river, kids slide and adult pool. Easy to get drinks and food at Drakes on the property and also a nice walking path along the beach. The Westin is next door so you can change up where you eat and bars nearby. We also walked to the shopping area about a mile away on the walking path. Great location for a family trip. Would highly recommend if you are looking for your own space with a kitchen and amenities but also some of the benefits of a resort (pools, bar, towels, etc).

Ask About "Construction"

When we arrived, there was plastic, orange construction fencing blocking us from walking out onto the patio, the dining table on patio was covered with a plastic tarp, and TWO CRANES with workers were literally right outside the sliding glass window. The property management company was AT BEST misleading about the "chance" of construction throughout the booking process. We left the condo/resort and stayed elsewhere as soon as we could. The management company did fully refund us for the nights we didn't stay there and provided a discount for the nights that we did. Had we known this situation is what we were paying for, we NEVER would have chosen this unit or this resort. So many other options.

We're sorry the guest was unhappy with the painting occurring outside the unit. It was clearly indicated on the website and through our communication with the guest that the painting project in that area could impact their stay prior to their booking. When the guest found other accommodations we were happy to refund the remainder of their stay. The painting in this area is now complete and this unit is no longer affected.

Great time, everything was as good as it could be. No time for survey but wanted to let you know the shower head is broken and sprays the drywall ceiling when being used. Will damage the ceiling eventually.

Kaanapali has a variety of fun attractions for visitors to enjoy during their vacation. Kaanapali's beautiful beaches are perfect for swimmers & snorkelers. The area also offers a variety of restaurants and shops & even pop up craft fairs with local vendors. Just a short drive away, you will find Lahaina's famous Front Street and Whalers Village shopping center. A spectacular view of the surrounding islands and ocean can be seen from the beaches making it the perfect spot to soak up a Maui sunset. Kaanapali is an excellent destination for people seeking relaxation and enjoyment while on vacation.

The Honua Kai resort is located on the magnificent North Kaanapali Beach on the west side of Maui near Lahaina town. This resort has seven pools & numerous hot tubs you can enjoy during your stay, including a water slide! In each tower lobby there is a shop you can get snacks, drinks, amenities & more from. There is valet parking & bellhops to assist you as well as self parking available. Duke’s restaurant is onsite & offers pool service at the 3 main pools. There are BBQs throughout the resort for your use & easy access to the beach. Take a stroll down the beach path & enjoy snorkeling at airport beach or soak in a sunset over the water.
