The perfect haven in Milan!

The rooftop patio at this apartment was so dreamy that we didn’t want to leave! My family (myself, hubby, and four kids) absolutely loved our stay here and Gianluca was so helpful. This might be the best VRBO place I’ve booked - great location and fabulous atmosphere. Plus, it was spacious for my family of six - each kid had their own bed and I heard no complaining!

Great stay

The place was beautiful with the top roof patio was wonderful. The patio made you feel like you were not in the city, but in the country side-a true villa and oasis.

A wonderful place

We had a great time staying here and the hosts were so very kind and accommodating. Just a few steps to a metro stop and everything we needed was very close and convenient. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return sometime in the near future.

Perfect for our needs

We needed a 2 night stay on the end of our trip and this flat was perfect. Nice area and 30 min walk from Duomo. Clean, elegant and nice rooftop garden. Would stay again.

Tranquil, spacious apartment in Milan city

Lovely -clean- large apartment, good location, responsive hosts. And the terrace!!! An enormous private oasis and beautiful green space in the bustling city of Milan. Plenty of room for our adult party of 5. Would stay again if we are in Milan. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect

Great location Metro is approx. 10 meters from the front door and a lot of attractions are within walking distance. Apartment is amazing with all the amenities you could need. Beds are comfortable and the roof top terrace gave our family the extra room we needed, we ate meals out under the shade of the foliage. Would definitely stay here again it was worth every cent and more.

Very central with a nice green terrace.

We stayed 3 nights at this place. Very convinient location with metro station almost on the doorstep. Some noice from the street, but not a big problem for us. And the gordious terrace more than made up for this. It is a green quite oase, very nice place to relax, eat and have a nigh cup.

Beautiful urban oasis

We loved this property! It is in an historic building, very quiet, adjacent to the metro and only a few minutes walk to the Milano Centrale train station. The apartment has a somewhat unusual layout, but worked perfectly for my wife and me. We especially loved the terrace! It is a very large private green space that was perfect for meals outdoors or a drink in the evenings. Gianluca and Guilia were wonderful hosts and very responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Comfortable and close to metro

Very clean, plenty of sleeping room, well equipped and close to the Lima metro station that made exploring Milan very easy. Definitely a safe building with an elevator to get up to the top floor. Lots of shopping within walking distance which is why we were there so this was perfect for our group. We did Uber to city center in a xl due to our group and it was only $22 American dollars which opened the whole city to us. Would highly recommend for a group of six to eight!

Garden City Escape

Only a quick one night stay between our transfers but I would do it again. Very comfortable and easy commute to train station. Grocery near by we were able to make breakfast in the apartment before we left. We enjoyed the roof top garden and sunshine. Perfect for our group of 7 with 2 children and 5 adults.

I like it, like it, yes I do!

Beautiful apartment,beautiful people! Everything was perfect and there is little more to say than to agree with the other people who have left comments before us.. It's "YES' to the first 4 questions and as to the restaurants and attractions, there are just too many to name. The addresses given by the owner were all good but beware of Wednesdays: lots of places are closed. We enjoyed Papiniano market in the Navigli where cheaper goods can be bought than those on show in the expensive shops. We were especially impressed by the fruit and vegetable stalls in the markets..Milan is a beautiful city and we were delighted with our stay there.

Happy Return to the Garden Terrace

In the year before the Pandemic, my partner and I invited a friend to join us for back-to-back visits (with a week in between each stay) at the Garden Terrace Apartment. We found the suite and its serenely relaxing garden so delightful that we decided to repeat the experience five years later, this time with the Pandemic behind us. As before, we appreciated the highly convenient location of the property. We were able to wheel our luggage from Milano Centrale directly to the building entrance near the Lima metro station. Its proximity to the Lima station, on the Red Line, ensures swift transit to Piazza del Duomo, La Scala, the Galleria, and the Quadrilatero d'Oro. We also ventured north on the Red Line and tram system to the Teatro degli Arcimboldi for a Roberto Bolle performance. In the apartment itself, we were pleased to note the upgrade in the kitchen facilities since our last visit. And the private terrace garden is even lovelier than it appeared on our first visit. Red roses, white calla lilies, lavender clematis, orange blossoms, and small garlic-like flowers adorn the two outdoor "rooms." We missed the blooming period for the wisteria vines, but our ever-helpful hosts confirmed our observation that new citrus trees have been added to the orchard-like setting where we enjoyed dining al fresco. Every evening the star jasmine filled the terrace with an enchanting fragrance. It felt like a pastoral retreat after a busy day of exploring Milan's cultural wonders.

Beautiful apartment, near Milan centrum

We were 9 girls who had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the Generals house last week in this fantastic Milan apartment. It was in the middle of a long shopping street and only a few steps from the apartment to the Metro, Lima M1 line and only 5 minutes by metro to centrum. The apartment was very clean and quiet and fully equipped. The owners were very helpful before arrival to all kind of questions and very helpful and welcoming at arrival and departure. IT is a fantastic apartment and we highly recommend it to anyone who are staying in Milan. 9 girls from Denmark / Annette Løttrup
