Wow you are our 100th review! I take that as one of our treasured and accomplished goals! The ocean views are always changing with the seasons and time of day -- and still Morning, afternoon or evening the views are always breathtaking. The property is well located for activities in all directions on the mid coast of Maine. It certainly was our pleasure to host your group!

This exceptional home is right on the water with a fantastic view. Every room is immaculate and comfortable. We love Friendship and were delighted tohave this lovely home to spend our family vacation in!

Very nice property in a very nice town. Listing was accurate. Enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the large yard.

The large size property is hard to beat when located directly on the ocean. And when your town is named Friendship everyone goes out of their way to be kind. We're so happy all worked well for your 3 generations vacation.

It was a family gathering. The house was great for the seven of us. Places to be together and also places for just sitting and enjoying the beautiful view.The highlight was our lobster feast. We ordered the lobsters from our host, cooked them and enjoyed the entire process.The house was easy to find, but I would recommend arriving while it’s daylight due to the curvy road to Friendship.We loved our time together and the home was perfect for us!

The house does work well with the baths on all floors for guest privacy. And the large living room and another two rooms with two large tables for sharing meals together and playing games. However, you were one of the brave groups choosing to cook your own lobsters-good for you experiencing our real Maine living!

Great home with plenty of spacious rooms for our 3 generation family of 6 plus 2 kids.Loved the huge yard with the ocean steps away.Watching the fishermen before sunrise with a mug of coffee and again when they returned with the days catch is priceless!While we swam from the wharf sometimes there is a nice little beach about 10 minutes away that the kids enjoyed.Sharon and Gil are great hosts.Hope to return again sometime.

Relaxing getaway

We had an amazing stay at the historic harbor house. With the expansive lawns of the harbor house in the quiet town of Friendship situated near to other more bustling towns, this vacation proved to be the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We had a fantastic stay!

Wonderful stay

We had a total blast. Gil and Sharon were wonderful hosts — and the lobsters they left for us hanging off the dock were the best we’ve ever had. We will be back!!

Lovely historic home!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home in Friendship! Gill and Sharon are perfect hosts and had everything we needed, including tasty lobsters on demand! Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful house on the edge of the ocean

We stayed here over the Memorial Day long weekend and enjoyed every bit. The house was comfortable, had enough beds, beautiful views. Gil & Sharon were wonderful hosts. They even made us lobster rolls! Will definitely go back just to relax and enjoy the place.

Family time at the harbor house

We loved this wonderful home and the owners treated us like family. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and everyone had space in this lovely historic home. I can't say enough about how great Sharon and Gi and the lobsters were!

Love everything about this house. It was our second year staying at the Wilbur Morse house. The house was exceptionally clean. Gil & Sharon take care of everything. We enjoyed visiting Thomaston, Rockland, Camden, and Boothbay Harbor. Friendship Harbor is perfect for paddling. We visit Maine every summer and this is the first house we returned to a second time.

This was one of our best vacations - even agreed upon by all four kids. This house and its history are amazing. The owners met us at check in which was a very personal touch. Communication with them was excellent. The setting is peaceful. Kayaking, lobsters, stargazing and family time were in abundance. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Friendship was a perfect place as our home base to explore during the day. We had easy drives to Acadia, Camden Hills State Park, Pemaquid Light house, and every where else we went. Hands down we would stay here again.

Great Property

We really enjoyed this house and property! Sharon was really helpful and kind. We had everything we needed, and the area of Friendship and the surrounding towns had plenty to do as well. Our only wish was for a few more fans—it was a humid week when we stayed!

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the best time just hanging out at the house with our kids and enjoying Maine life. The house was great and the views were amazing. Friendship was a great location for us. We enjoyed the Market and Jamesons and would highly recommend staying here. The owners were wonderful and very helpful and easy to contact and work with.

We're so glad the house met your expectations; it truly is one of a kind, just like the town. Friendship is also a gem located on the Mid Coast of Maine. And those always changing ocean views never disappoint. Glad you enjoyed the local seafood; which is also hard to beat. The accommodations at the historic Wilbur Morse home were perfect for our family vacation to the Maine coast. The home is situated in the harbor and it's nice to watch the lobster boats coming and going. Very peaceful area and the property is extremely well maintained. The hosts are excellent communicators and were so helpful when we needed rainy day ideas! A great lobster pound just down the road and a well-stocked variety store (with Pizza) just a bit further. Friendship is situated right between Boothbay and Camden/Rockport, both of which are easy drives of about 30-40 mins. Highly recommend.

Your "highly recommendation" is appreciated! Friendship is one of a kind and a great place to be just outside of the summer crowds. There is plenty to do at the harbor as we provide a boat mooring with the rental so you may explore the ocean. We also work hard inside the house to make sure everyone's finds the accommodations they need; we're so glad it worked for your family and friends. Fun times!

Sharon & Gil greeted us upon arrival to go through the house and explained how things worked, and how to steam all the live lobsters they furnished for us! The home is amazing, wonderful bedding, great views of the water and our private dock!! Definitely would love to come back and stay there again!!

Wonderful place... plenty of room

This is our second time here. Wonderful spacious place. The owners are very friendly and showed up briefly once just to ensure everything is going great and to answer any questions. Very beautiful home. My favorite part is the kayaks so we can go out mornings and evenings and enjoy the beauty up close.

Gorgeous historical home

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Friendship. The location was perfect for visiting Boothbay and Bar Harbor. Sharon made wonderful recommendations for places to visit (we loved Pemaquid beach). The kids had a great time exploring at low tide and watching the boats come and go. The house has been beautifully renovated and care was made to ensure our stay was as easy as possible. Plenty of cleaning supplies, towels AND cozy blankets everywhere!

Time to relax

We drive to Maine for a getaway and the Harbor House did not disappoint! The kids loved swimming, fishing, and jumping off the dock, and the adults enjoyed relaxing. Having live lobster delivered dockside was icing on the cake! Sharon and Gil were great hosts and were available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our time!

Relaxing in Friendship

Property is exactly what you see on line. Great location with a large yard to relax and play games on. Owners very friendly and helpful. Having lobsters delivered right to your dock was super convenient. Enjoyed our time in Friendship!!

Wonderful week on the water

Owners are lovely and caring; property is beautiful; neighborhood safe and quiet. Enjoyed the spaciousness of the home; fresh caught lobster out of this world delicious and evenings on the beach by the fire cozy and relaxing. Plenty of sights to see, islands to kayak to and just being in the home with friends and family was great. We hope to come back soon as we all loved being in Friendship!
