This unit was wonderful. Very clean and loved all the seating in the living room. This fits 8 people it says and we were not over crowded while playing our board games. But the pull out couch was broken so my brother had to sleep on the floor with the mattress but he didn’t complain.

A+ Location + Very Quiet

We booked this location right after Labor Day, during the week. It was quiet, and we had the river mostly to ourselves. We chose this spot because of its proximity to Texas Tubes, our favorite place to drop in. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would stay here again.

great location

This condo is on a beautiful part of the Comal River, upstream from the most hectic parts. The condo had everything needed. The pull out couch was not comfy, but with 2 beds and a futon, we didn't need the couch.

Girls Float Trip

Myself and 7 girlfriends get together once a year to float the Comal, sit in a pool and catch up. We found the perfect place to stay! We are ready to book for next year and I plan on bringing my family here too! Texas Tubes is right next door making it so convenient to float. And the place was nice and comfortable.

Great location close to tube rentals. It was crowded for 6 adults. Luckily we brought a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed. It would have been very uncomfortable without it.

Communication with host was great. They made sure i had all i needed to check in before the arrival time. I will rent again. The condo was cozy and had all we needed. Everything was clean. It did have a lives in feel and look but it was still great. I think the best thing was its location. Although we didnt go in the river this time it would be perfect to do so. We did get to get up in the morning abs sit next to the river and watch otters play. There were also so many deer grazing around and on the property. It was very relaxing.

Great location

Everything was great except for property manager. The location was great, the access to river was nice. The only thing was the manager yelling and badgering guests for parking permits. We were being told we were being loud, we had small childten with us. ? What do expect? Sorry will not be staying here again.

Hi Hilda, We are so sorry you had issues with the onsite manager at this property. If we would have been made aware we would have been more than happy to reach out on your behalf as that is not acceptable. We hope you will give us another chance in the future as we do manage many properties all around the New Braunfels/ Canyon Lake areas that might be a better fit for you and your group. Again, Our absolute sincerest apologies about that inconvenience and we will be sure to speak with them as that is beyond unacceptable. Thanks, NBE

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only thing about the condo is when you have a group of 8 coming two rolls of toilet paper is not enough. Also need to have more bath towels with that many people staying in one place other then that we always like coming and tubing the river every year!

Great Location

Had a great time it’s located in a perfect part, easy river access, walking distance to downtown just one issue which bothered us is the fridge sucks we waited 24hrs like it stated and got stuck drinking warm drinks even on the coldest setting it wouldn’t keep the drinks cool heck the freezer couldn’t even freeze the ice for 2 nights so we got stuck drinking warm drinks on the river, I didn’t bring it up as we only had one night left before we left and the pool closes at 11 or 12 which is a bummer, Overall great experience if u want a prime location I would stay again, area was clean no complaints there and the bed was amazing would recommend if u wanna have a weekend get away

New Braunfels Stay

The property is very old. Our unit was clean and comfortable. There is good parking. The VRBO picture is misleading. We could barely see the river through the trees. And other than that, you are looking at the parking lot—not scenic at all. There is nothing within walking distance—restaurant, bars, places to visit. We travel a great deal and suggest that for over $600 for two nights, we would stay someplace better located and newer.

Bob, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We do not advertise this condo as having a river view or that it is 'scenic'. I am local to the area and find the 1/4 mile walk to downtown shopping, bars and restaurants to be very doable. We apologize you feel mislead but do not agree. We hope you find something that better suits your needs in the future! Thanks NBE
