Great place, very cute and quirky, and well decorated. The property was clean, well equipped and close to lots of place to visit. The beds were comfortable and there are lots of places in the house to relax.

We loved our stay at Yoah Cottage, it was perfect for our family holiday. The cottage had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.We visited the New Inn next door for a carvery and drinks which was delicious, definitely worth the visit - it also has a stunning view in the beer garden. We would 100% visit again, it was brilliant value for money and a beautiful stay so thank you!

The only criticism I have of the whole experience was the WiFi, I needed to work from my laptop on arrival but the internet was hit and miss. If I was staying midweek and needed to work it would have been unacceptable. The property described there was internet access but that’s not really true as we also had issues with live streaming programmes.

I do wish we had been made aware of the issue while you were staying with us, as you didn’t mention any problems with the WiFi at the time. Had we known, we would have been very happy to look into it and do what we could to resolve the issue for you during your stay. This is a beautiful old cottage in the countryside but conveniently, right next to the pub! There are lots of fantastic walks straight from the front door around farmland and woods. Weymouth is only around a 10 minute drive. Stacey is a great host and wasn't concerned that I accidentally broke one of her wine glasses! There's parking for 2 cars on the driveway but lots of spaces available in the pub overflow car park. We highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful and relaxing countryside stay. We're definitely going to return again soon.

We had such a wonderful stay at Yoah Cottage! The house was nice and clean and so cosy! And the kids loved the big garden to play in. It was also very thoughtfull that the owner had put some toys in de kids room. We had two amazing dinners at the pub next to the cottage and have already talked about coming back next year. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely cottage with plenty of space for 8 of us. The kitchen was nice and having two fridges was great. No ventilation in either of the en suites which wasn't ideal. The house has very low beams and 6 out of 8 of us whacked our heads once or twice (one person being left with a bleeding head). Needs better 'mind your head' signs or padding on the really low ones. Garden was lovely but it could really do with some decent/comfortable garden furniture. Nice pub next door with decent food.

Lovely cottage, we ordered food through the host which was amazing and great to have on our arrival. We did some lovely walks to Dorchester and Osmington. Cottage clean and had all the necessary amenities including a large fridge.Lots of character including a few low beams.

Relaxing stay in lovely Dorset cottage

We (7 adults, 2 children and 1 dog) had a lovely New Year break in this cottage. The location is great (with the pub next door) and the village itself and nice and quiet.The cottage has everything you need and more!

Village thatch cottage

Great stay. kitchen well equipped, comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Good option to have food from pub next door. Great to be out of main towns but close enough to get everywhere easily.

Very pleasant house and locality

Took some time to get used to low doorways (and a few headaches) but overall we all enjoyed our stay very much and Stacey was just great.

Lovely characterful house!

A lovely house for a weekend with friends, very clean and tidy with comfortable beds and linen. Great views across the fields from the garden with a quirky layout inside, so watch your heads! Pretty, quiet village and close to the coast for a day trip.

Magical Christmas

Thank you once again for our amazing Christmas weekend at yoah cottage. What a beautiful cottage to stay at. We had the most magical time. Highly recommend visiting the pub next door, so welcoming and great food. Will be booking again for sure x

Very spacious cottage, comfortable and homely. Extremely well equipped. Beautiful rear garden, with unusual arbutus [strawberry] tree, excellent for our dog. A very friendly and helpful host at the inn next door, who also looked after the cottage. Can recommend the large lasagna, fish pie and Thai curry dishes prepared by the inn's chef. No complaints or quibbles whatsoever.

Beautiful house in a quiet location

The house was very clean and comfortable. It’s on a road but it’s a very quiet road so we didn’t notice any traffic sounds. Beautiful village setting with easy access to nice beaches and walks. Thankyou for hosting us!

Fantastic location

10 minuntes from Dorchester and the coast. 18mins to Durdle Door. Lots of walking from the front door too. The hosts were readily available and sorted us out when needed. A gtreat stay.

60th Birthday weekend

My Husband loves Dorset, and how better to spend time in this lovely county celebrating his 60th birthday than in this adorable thatched cottage. Full of character yet modern, clean and comfortable. We all loved staying at Yoah Cottage with the added bonus of The new Inn next door. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a break in the country

Delightful property next to a very helpful pub. Quite a distance from the coast but plenty to see nearby.The kitchen was well equipped and enough for everybody/The beds were comfortable and clean linen and towels. We wish this had been put in the description. Getting in contact with anyone before the stay was very difficult/Parking space for three cars was very tight., we now know why.

Georgous cottage

6 Adults, a toddler and 2 dogs stayed for a 3 night family break. Very comfy beds and cosy rooms, en-suites were small but not really a problem but the main downstairs bathroom lovely and large. Lovely meals supplied by the pub next door. Great location. I do feel the garden needs some tlc. Lively

Beautiful, thatched cottage.

The cottage was stunning -perfect English thatched cottage -beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and we loved watching the sun set over the fields from the back garden. We took our golden doodle dog and went on many walks all around the incredible coast. The pub supplied 2 meals -fish pie and veg curry and both were delicious. A peaceful little village with walks straight from the house too. We hope to return!
