Matteo was wonderful and place was straight out of a movie star film!!! Great views and larger than expected accommodations. Perfect for 3 x couple stay. Location is perfect!!!!

We reserved this villa for our wedding. We did something very intimate and only had our parents. The villa was beautiful, perfect location, spacious and beautiful breathtaking views. Matteo, the host, was extremely attentive and responsive to all my messages prior to the wedding and while there as well. Check in/out process was easy.

We had a great trip to Villa Dolphin. The villa was very spacious and had an amazing view of the water and the hillside of Positano. Matteo was an amazing host and was there to check us in and out and provide a lot of great insider info about Positano. We would definitely go back in the future!

The villa was an awesome place to stay. The views are incredible and the location is perfect. It’s close to everything but in a quieter part of town. We wish we had more time to enjoy this beautiful spot!

The Villa is everything we could have wanted. Stunning views from every room. The host, Matteo, is the most responsive and helpful host we have ever had. Additionally, the location is perfect.

First off, the host’s communication was extremely timely. I was nervous about the stairs in Positano, and this was very doable for 3 couples in their 60’s, Matteo arranged for a porter, so we didn’t even have to carry our luggage up the “minimal” 70 stairs. The “OMG moment” happened the second Matteo opened the door and invited us in. The location is easy access to all things Positano. Taxis were readily available for lazy moments. The unit captures the essence of old Italy and you can almost picture moments with Nonna in the kitchen. The 3 spacious balconies are worth the price of admission. This is the first place we’ve stayed in our last 17 days in Italy that we ordered in, and just wanted to be “home” and breathe in the moment. The restaurants and bakeries are nearby without having to go into the crowded areas of Positano. Loved staying here and would highly recommend.

Two things about this property stand out most -- the view and the owner Matteo. Both were unparalleled. From the patios and rooms of this 3-bed, 2.5-bath villa, we enjoyed stunning, panoramic views of Positano's jaw-dropping cliffs and seashore. The rooms were comfortable, kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, and Matteo was always nearby to lend a hand or provide a helpful tip. He even bought my sons a round of beer when he ran into them at our (and Matteo's) favorite beach, Fornillo. He also recommended a nearby restaurant, Mediterraneo, whose staff treated us like family when we dropped his name, Note that the steps to the rental are brutal, similar to other view properties in town. If we are ever lucky enough to return to gorgeous Positano, we will stay here. Thank you, Matteo, for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Positano and would happily recommend it to others. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views and easy access to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay.The host was responsive, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth. They provided great communication before and during our visit, which made everything easy.Like most accommodations in Positano, be prepared for stairs, but that’s part of the charm of staying here and well worth it for the views.Overall, this was a wonderful home base for exploring Positano and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely stay here again!

A fantastic, surprising, and welcomed transition from the busy ferry port and city center greeted us upon our arrival- up the hill at Villa Dolphin! Mateo’s guidance prior to our arrival and his welcome at the villa check-in, lifted our spirits and soothed our weariness after a very full day of travel to arrive in Positano. The villa itself is beautiful, surprisingly larger than we expected from the pictures! One can tell this place is rooted in family history and love. While the interior and bedrooms are spacious and welcoming, we spent the majority of time on the grand terraces and in the kitchen which added additional fuel to our love of Italy and its wonderful culinary culture! If arriving by ferry, use the Porters below to attend to your luggage and bring it to the villa (the stairs will get ya on day 1). After dropping your bags with the porters, trust the 10 minute walk up the winding roadway vs paying for a taxi. If arriving by other means, trust Mateo! He’s got ya covered. His restaurant recommendations are spot on!The Amalfi Coast was such a large part of our stay in Italy; and Villa Dolphin enhanced and complimented our vacation above our expectations.

Matteo was an excellent host! Very welcoming and helpful. He greeted us at the street on our anrrivap and guided us into the private, off street, cave-like parking spot! Our car was very safe and out of the way of the crazy Positano street traffic! The property itself is a throwback to the 1960’s. Everything is well preserved, clean, and operable. Matteo takes pride in keeping the villa the way his Grandparents had furnished and decorated while they had enjoyed it and entertained guests at the property. Traditional furnishings and fixtures fill all rooms on both levels. The main balcony (off the kitchen) runs the entire width of the house and features two separate seating areas to take in the view of the harbor below as well as the homes built into the cliffs left and right. The smaller, round table and chairs stay in the shade most of the day which is great to sit and relax over coffee, afternoon drinks, or just quietly reading.

A wonderful place in Positano

Lovely location perfectly maintained. Wonderful host and family. Could not have hoped for a better location. Just down the steps were 5 or 6 high quality restaurants.

Family of 6 vaca

Super enjoyable and relaxing place for our family of 6. Matteo, the owner, was such a great touch vs using property managers. Close to restaurants and shopping but also plenty room to cook and eat on the beautiful terrace.

Wonderful stay

The views from this Villa are amazing!! It is located right on the main street and as you are walking down towards the central part of town/main beach area, you pass many wonderful restaurants and shops, etc... so it is in a good location. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend.

Terrific Villa over the Sea

Outstanding property in Positano. Very nice home in a great location. The home is very well equipped and has a parking garage below the home for your car. The owner is excellent to work with and very attentive. Enjoyed the stay very much.
