Vores året rundt sommerhus ligger på Lake Pauline i Ludlow Vermont, med 900 ft af søfronten! Kun 1. 5 miles fra Okemo's Jackson Gore base (ca. 20 minutter fra Killington eller Woodstock).

Dette område byder på alle de udendørs eventyr, du søger; ski, slanger, snescooter, snesko om vinteren og fiskeri, svømning og vandreture om sommeren. ** Fisk, svømme eller kajak lige fra bagdækket!**

Overnatning komfortabelt sove 6 voksne. Første soveværelse har en queensize-seng, andet soveværelse har 3 enkeltsenge og en fuld seng. Den 2. "stue" kan fungere som et 3. soveværelse og har en lædersofa med en dronning udtræk og ny madras. Dette værelse over ser søen med smuk udsigt.

Der er 1 nyt badeværelse med bruser og 1 nyt 1/2 badeværelse.

Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret til madlavning med krydderier, pantry varer og kaffemaskine (pot / keuig combo) mikrobølgeovn, brødrister mv. Køkkenbord med stort vindue med udsigt over søen rummer 6.

Stue med stor komfortabel lædersektion og pejs, tv, wifi, dvd-bibliotek, netflex og en vifte af spil for alle aldre.

We just loved this cottage! Clean and everything we needed at our fingertips. The many outside areas were so great and we loved everything about this spot!

Had a relaxing weekend at the lake front house. Home was super clean and had all of the amenities. Deck area was great to watch wildlife! Highly recommend!

Our group up 4 came up to Vermont for a low-key bachelorette party by the lake and the cozy cabin did not disappoint. We had a fantastic weekend exploring the area, canoeing, and hanging out on the deck by the water. Could not have asked for a better spot and a better weekend to celebrate our bride!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this lakeside cottage. We paddled the lake in the canoe and kayaks and found the home to be a comfortable and relaxing retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, little lake house! We never ran out of things to do - kayaking, swimming, fishing, cooking s'mores over the fire... We also visited the VINS Nature Center in Quechee and learned so many interesting facts about birds of prey! The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals but there are also several good restaurants right in Ludlow.The 2 window ACs keep the whole house at a very comfortable temp. We're already thinking about returning next year!

If your looking for beauty nature and comfort this cozy cottage surpassed our expectations our dog loved the lake and ducks and snow we lived ludlow okemo woodstock and Westin all so close great location and our host was wonderful prompt response with any questions and added a night last minute for us thanks so much Kristin

Great family stay

Our family enjoyed the cozy cottage. The beds were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We loved watching the beavers swim at dusk. Very close to Okemo ski resort.

Fantastic stay

Adorable cottage on Lake Rescue

What a wonderful place to rest and recreate. We had a great time at the Cozy Cottage enjoying time on the back deck and paddling in the lake. There are also a lot of great things to do in the area - many great hikes and shops/ restaurants to explore. Highly recommended! Thanks, Kristin and family for sharing your space with us!

Great summer getaway

This place is wonderful. We traveled with a few other couples, an infant, and a dog. We enjoyed time in the home, lounged by the fire pit, and soaked in summer at the lake. It has all of the amenities we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend!

Cozy Cottage on the Lake

Our family enjoyed the dock and decks most of all, and my children spent as much time as they could playing in the water. The cottage is small but fit our family of four nicely. It had everything we needed for our 4-night getaway!

Beautifully appointed home in prime location

My family and I just returned from our New Years stay at “Cozy Cottage”. The home is beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Waking up every morning in the sun room overlooking the lake was an absolute dream especially on a snowy day. The location is fantastic, as it’s a stones throw to Okemo, and about a 7 min drive to the town of Ludlow where you will find a grocery store, quaint shops, and dining. We definitely plan to return!

Tranquility by the lake

We stayed at the cozy cottage and took advantage of late skiing at Okemo which is a fantastic family mountain. Being by the lake makes you chill and unwind.

Cozy Cottage Fun

This was our first stop on the way to see the eclipse. Our only request was that we didn’t stay longer. Loved seeing the wide life, getting maple ice cream down the street, and the absolutely adorable setup. Would definitely come again!

Beautiful House

We had a great getaway at the house. The house is beautiful with lots of charm. The house faces the river with beautiful decks; the road out front is heavily traveled which may be of concern to some people. Kristin was easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Lakeside Cottage

Very nice clean cottage. House is cozy and exactly like the pictures! We had 5 adults, 1 kid and a dog. House was the perfect size for all of us! We enjoyed the Kayaks and the fire pit as well as grilling on the grill. Owner was great to communicate with and check in and checking out was a breeze. Vermont is a beautiful State to enjoy! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Only draw back is we didn’t want to leave!

Great stay

This was a nice property with great amenities-the deck set up and availability of kayaks really made for a great experience. The host was very responsive. It was very hot inside as we were there during a heat wave. I would go back again but bring extra fans. When not in a heat wave, it is lovely inside and out. My only criticism is we didn't realize it was on such a busy road so at times the road noise was a lot, especially when you had to leave the doors and windows open due to the heat. Otherwise it was a great experience!

Cozy cottage

We loved the relaxing feel of the home and location. We saw all types of wildlife, beavers, gray Herron, toads and an eagle. The time of year the pine trees shed needles which made a messy entrance into the house. I suggested an electric blower would be helpful because you don’t want to spend your vacation sweeping. Other than that one issue we love Ed our stay!

Relaxation at its best!

I'll start my review by saying that my daughter asked if we could come back to this house next year before we even left. The house is wonderfully set up for a wonderful getaway. We spent most of our time outside on the deck and in the water. The kids hopped into the kayaks and took off, my wife read books on the deck, and I was in the lake the whole time. Ludlow is just big enough to give you everything you need without all of the hustle and bustle. The owner was always quick to respond with any question we had. Don't forget to get a maple bacon creemie at The Hatchery. You'll thank me later!

Great family vacation home

Our families stay at Kristin's home was just what I had hoped for - having the kayaks and canoe right at the property is such a plus. It's a quiet lake and we were was out at least once a day to explore or fish. Ludlow is such a great area of VT with so much close by - we went over to Buttermilk falls - about 5 mins away and over to Woodstock and Sugarbush farms about 40 mins away. We visited the Sugar shack right down the street with Maple Creemees and other VT treats daily. The home itself is so cozy. I am going to miss sitting out on the back deck in the early morning with coffee and a good book. There was no shortage of wildlife - from a beaver family next door, to turtles, fish, a deer in the woods across from the dock the who came out everyday, and even a bear sighting on our way into town. I would highly recommend Kristins home and hope that we will have the opportunity to visit again. Thank you Kristin for sharing your home with our family

Please clear your entry ways

Both front and rear doors blocked by ice. Used a full bucket of salt to try to clear the front door stairs. Could not do it. Very dangerous. Rear door also blocked. Tried to clear as much as I could so we could enjoy the back of the property and the much advertised view. Could not access any outside areas.It snowed 3-4 inches on Thursday. I had to shovel both ends of the driveway that were blocked by the public st plows so we could get in and out. A construction tractor came the next day and plowed the parts of the driveway not occupied by our vehicles. The place was ok. A bit dirty, the kitchen exhaust fan is kinda gross. Not worth the money. We would not go back.

Back to Nature

Property is as described. The furniture was comfortable, plenty of supplies, and providing kayaks and canoe was really nice! We spend every day out on them- just down the lake the water dam is a fun spot to get out and swim. Deer, beaver, bass and a turtle who we saw dig hole and lay their eggs on the property. Home is close to downtown. If you bring your dog a great place to take them for a walk is Fox Run Golf Course((2miles down the road) as they have a dedicated dog trail which is a snowshoe trail in the winter. If you take second entrance into the parking lot across the club house you will see the dog trail sign and bag dispenser. Once you get up the first incline it is flat and actually goes to the cemetery in the center of town. Enjoyed Mr. Darcy's Restaurant and a drink at the golf course at the end of the day.

Perfect stay for our family of 4 dog. Our kids, 2 and 4, had fun admiring the lake and going for a short paddle ride. We enjoyed an outdoor fire and were in driving distance to stock up on syrup, cheese, and other treats while admiring fall. The host was great and very quick to respond to any questions we had.

We had a great time at the lake house! Kids, ages 5 & 9, loved fishing and jumping in the water off the dock. Kayaks & canoe were so nice to have, we loved taking them out on the lake. Enjoying a fire in the fire-pit at night was great to share stories of the days activities. House was clean & set up nicely for 7 of us. We would surely stay again! Thank you!

Hello! I'm from CT. I'm a wife, a mom to 2 active boys and a nurse. I love spending time with my family, relaxing with a good book by the lake in the summer, skiing in the winter and winding down with a glass of wine by the fire.
I've been hosting STR's for about 8 years and its something I truly enjoy. For me, hosting is about creating a comfortable, welcoming space where guests can feel at home, make memories and enjoy the simple pleasure of being away. I love sharing VT with others and hearing about the special experiences guests have made during their stay.

One of the things I enjoy most about this home is how it combines convenience with a sense of escape. It's on a main road, which means its easy to find, the main road is well-plowed in the winter, simple to get to no matter the season. At the same time, the house sites on a beautiful lake, so when you're here, it feels peaceful.
In the summer I love sipping coffee of the deck while watching my boys fish off the dock and kayakers paddle by or heading out for an early morning hike. In the winter the mountains are just a short dive away for skiing and I look forward to coming back to a cozy fire and making a home cooked meal. Its the mix of being close to everything and still feeling removed from the chaos that makes this place so special to me.
