El Romeral - meaning the place where pilgrims came to rest. A most appropriate name for this beautiful south facing traditional Spanish villa. Extremely well located in the private exclusive urbanisation of Pla del Mar in the quiet cul de sac of Oceano Artico.
The villa is so close to all that Moraira has to offer that it seems hard to appreciate the quietness & tranquility of the location. Turn left out of the villa and just a 5 min walk away is the village of Moraira, turn left out of the villa & a 10 min will take you to the glorious bay of El Portet and cafes. The1st class local beaches are all EEC Blue Flag approved. El Romeral is of traditional old Spanish origins it has tastefully refurbished throughout but still retains character and ambience, enjoy the large secure gardens with various terraces & patios enjoying both full sun & shade, far reaching views to Calpe Rock & the mountains beyond, the ideal place for a relaxing well rested holiday

We’ve enjoyed the villa, especially the variety of outside areas to sit in and the lovely pool and have found it really comfortable and a convenient location, being able to walk to El Portet and Moraira town. Thank you Bernard for hosting us so well. We’d love to visit again.

Great property , chosen because of its location and wasn’t disappointed. Pool was fantastic and the kids loved the table football and table tennis they have outside too. Lots of space inside and out however we were mostly outside because of the lovely weather. Would definitely return to villa if coming back to the area. Thank you.

The villa has everything that you might need for your holiday. The pool is a good size and there is plenty of space inside and out. Its just a short stroll down to the centre of town (you need a bit of puff on the way back up). We had a lovely holiday and would definitely visit again.

Fantastic

A wonderful stay at this beautiful sunny villa, short walk into town with a huge choice of quality restaurants and bars. Cannot fault it in anyway , the hosts were so helpful greeting us and equally seeing us off with a wave ! Thankyou for our super stay x

Terrific vacation in Moraira

It was an absolut terrific experience to visit Moraira and the wonderful house. Everything was very nice. The house was nice, the pool was nice and all the terraces was amazing.

Lovely villa with plenty of rooms. Spent most of our time in the outdoor area. Bernard and Therese were fantastic hosts.10 minutes walk to El Portet beach which is beautiful. Take your own parasol and get there early as it’s very busy.We’ve been to Moraira a few times and the location of this villa has been the most convenient. You can walk into town, slightly uphill on the way back.We had a fab time at this villa. The outdoor area and location are great. Pool was larger than expected too.

Very nice and nearby villa

We loved our stay in Moraira, it was very easy to reach everything. The restaurants and shops were suberb! And the villa I will recommend, nice indoors and especially outdoors. Good space in the beautiful garden. Mr. Bernard who welcomed us gave us usegul info about the villa and the city.

Wonderful location

The villa is in an amazing location, 10 minutes from the centre of Moraira which is a beautiful small town. The villa has plenty of room in the gardens with shade and sun. The pool is a good size and well maintained. The master bedroom is lovely and big. The kitchen looks s very well equipped with everything you need to cook meals. Overall a wonderful stay

Lovely sized property and great location for walking into town and to the beach. Pool was bigger than we thought it was from the pictures. We had a lovely week with older teens who all had their own rooms and could make the most of coming back later than is in the evenings!

Beautiful Villa

We had a lovely family holiday at this beautiful villa in May. The location is great, its in a quiet area but only a 10 minute walk into Moraira and 15 minute walk to El Portet beach which is stunning (both uphill on the way back). Th Villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor areas of the villa are lovely, loads of space in the sun and shade and a great view from the roof terrace. Plenty of room for our family of 6 and the kids enjoyed the pool, the outdoor shower and all the equipment provided. Bernard was helpful meeting us on arrival and showing us around. A great base for our holiday.

Amazing home from home

The property was clean and amazingly well equipped. There was just about everything we could possibly need. With air conditioning in all the bedrooms it meant we all slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. The outside space was fantastic with many shady nooks to hide from the heat of the sun when necessary. There were loads of seating options including sofas, sun loungers and large tables to easily accommodate a large group easily. The pool was perfect and kept us all cool as well as providing much needed entertainment for the kids. The town itself was easy to walk to as long as you don't mind a bit of a hill to walk back up and all facilities are there for you to enjoy. The plus side of the hill is the amazing views from the property and especially the top balcony. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back.

Lovely place, met our needs perfectly

We booked this place because it looked great on the website - we weren't disappointed!! There was everything we needed such as a washing machine, English channels on the flat screen TV, a load of books to read and a selection of DVDs and DVD player. The pool, outside patio and undercover seating were probably our favourite part of the house, just wonderful to relax in or have a game of table tennins. Having the ice machine and cold filtered water in the fridge/freezer was also a nice bonus. We always had hot water, (something which we have found a problem on previous holidays) and the property managers were helpful and friendly when we contacted them. Moraira itself is a lovely place to visit, we had visited prior to our trip in April, but stayed in a villa which was too far away to walk to the town. This place has a great location because you can walk there in between 5 - 10 minutes (downhill, obviously uphill on the way back). The two picturesque beaches are probably a 15 minute walk from the villa so once you are there you would not necessarily need a car. All in all we would recommend this for families and couples. If you want a relaxing holiday with everything you need for complete comfort this is the place for you. We would book again and recommend to famlies and friends without hesitation.

A Wonderful Family Vacation at El Romeral

Our family of six (2 adults and 4 kids) visited Moraira and Spain for the first time in June for a week. We wanted a relaxing beach vacation and decided that Moraira looked like the town for us. The booking process was simple with Alison's help. We were thrilled with our accommodations when we arrived in Moraira from the USA. El Romeral is located in Pla del Mar, a beautiful development that is within walking distance of everything that you need. Turn left out the door and you have a short walk to the town center, marina, restaurants and the beach. Turn right out the door and you have a short walk to El Portet ( our favorite beach due to the snorkeling, beachside cafes and beautiful vistas.) The villa is spacious and well appointed....enough room for everyone to spread out and not get on each other's nerves....important when traveling with kids. The kitchen had everything that you would need for food preparation if you are so inclined...there is also a gas grill available. The owners stocked the frig with some basics and some wine....very nice! The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well. The kids loved all of the fun amenities that the owners have provided for guests...the pool, ping pong table, darts, oversize chess, tic tac toe and jenga. There was an ipod dock that we enjoyed using, along with the owner's selection of music cd's and movies. We were fortunate that the Moors and Christians Festival was taking place during our stay...an experience not to be missed. Ample restaurants are within walking distance, along with grocery stores and bakeries. Our favorite restaurants during our stay were La Luna, D'Gust and The Deli. We also joined the Eurogym down the road...cost 33 E for the week. We had originally planned to take a few day trips, but we enjoyed the villa, beach and pool so much that we only took a half day trip to Guadalest... All in all, our experience at El Romeral was wonderful, and we look forward to the opportunity to visit again.

This villa was incredible! It far exceeded our expectations, it was spacious, the pool is perfect and the temperature is just right, and the rooms and layout worked perfectly for us. It is 10 minute walk down to the main town, mini supermarket and then the beach, and the other beautiful El Portet beach is 10 minutes in the other direction. Bernard did a check in with us and was so helpful and friendly, and was able to recommend useful local information too. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s a gem!
