Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we are glad you liked Gingerbread Cottage. We will pass on your comments about the Bay to the owners of the village. There is lots for the kids to do and we are just wondering if you didn't find these in the guidebook or the provides site plan such as archery, the arcade, the playground (not a park), the nature trails, the football pitch, the lakeside walks etc as well as the pre-bookable activities with Away Resorts.

In terms of the damage bond this is taken within 5 days of arrival and returned 3 days after you leave - this is standard industry practice and is done to at the request of owners to ensure their beloved property is looked after.
