A great place to relax

We had a great time in the cottage. It was really cosy, clean and had everything we needed. We did not have a car, so the location of this cottage was perfect; a few hikes that started nearby and good public transport to nearby villages.

The cottage was excellent - fully equipped and very comfortable & relaxing. It was in a brilliant position in the village, detached on a quiet back road but very close to the main street and near to the station.

The cottage was beautiful and very well located. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The ceilings are low, my husband is tall, and the stairway very narrow to get bags upstairs to the bedroom. All in all we had a great stay!!!

We loved our stay in Moreton-in-Marsh! This is a lovely, quaint old home with easy walking access to the downtown area and free parking nearby. Renters should be made aware of the spiral stairs leading up to the second floor where the bedroom is. The stairs are carpeted but would be very difficult to navigate for an elderly person. Otherwise, it was well equipped and met our needs

1st visit to the Cotswolds for a birthday celebration

We found the cottage very charming and in a nice location near the church as the church bells rang daily and it was very nice as we live in the city and it’s something you don’t hear , The cottage had a lovely homely feel to it with everything we needed and more , the beds were comfortable and the lounge was comfortable and welcoming, the courtyard garden was enchanting with the seclusion from neighbours and the road and the pretty plants made a nice place to enjoy an evening drink , went to the Manor House hotel and Bellini restaurant during our stay which were lovely eating establishments and the curry house was also really nice , in all a really nice place to stay and very local to nearby towns like Bourton on the Water and Broadway which are definitely worth a visit .

We enjoyed our stay at Cobbler’s Cottage, a couple of things to note however. The kitchen knives in the knife block are dangerously dull, and need to be sharpened or replaced. The toaster should be larger, and most important, the bathtub really needs a grab bar for steadiness. The tub sides are very high and there is nothing to hold onto while entering and exiting.

Could be so much more

Had a couple of nights here and it was ok tbh. I don't know when the property was cleaned last before we got there but there were cobwebs everywhere, some of the cutlery was not clean and also the bathroom flooring needs replacing in my opinion. This property is in an ideal location just needs to be better looked after.

Compact but Perfect Stone Cottage

Beautiful accomodation

Our first time visiting the UK! This lovely cottage was the perfect location from which to experience one of the jewels of the Cotswolds. The stairs to the bedrooms need to be navigated with care; all else was super comfy.
