This is such a great little cottage in a fairytale setting. A real get away to just enjoy the peace.I highly recommend.

Stated for Cheltenham Racing festival

We really enjoy staying here. Cosy but has everything you need. Extra helpful host and we like the location. Might be a bit remote for some, but it suits us. Very good fixtures and fittings and we have booked again!

Difficult location to find but once we did it was really good. Well located for exploration in the Cotswold.

cottage deep in the country

Wonderful location, near Stow and Moreton but deep in the countryside with views of rolling fields and deer grazing nearby. Exceptionally well designed and fitted cottage, the two bathrooms had perfect shower doors as well as sanitary ware; the bedrooms had nice bedding and cushions, and lots of cupboard space; the kitchen had everything we needed to knock up full meals and the living space was ideal for four + visitors. (It was too hot to sit outside.) Highly recommended

Great spot

It's a fantastic spot, nicely tucked away from the business around. Owners clearly thought through the comfort of guests with top quality pillows and design around the place.

Perfect comfortable stay, high quality comfort. Local to Morton in Marsh and Stow in the Word. Lovely host. Highly recommend for a few days comfortable exploring if the Cotswolds.

Well appointed property

This lovely cottage, had everything you could want. Super clean and well appointed with two double rooms with en-suite. Lovely views and well situated for all the Cotswolds has to offer.

Fab few days!

Had a lovely stay at Slade Stables, accommodation was immaculate, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy! What a wonderful location with stunning views, just a shame about the typical British weather! Sandra,the host, was very helpful and it was lovely to know she was on hand should we need anything. Would love to stay again.

Slade Stables - Great Stay!

The property was perfect. Very clean, quiet, everything we needed, great mattress on the bed, and the hostess Jane was so very pleasant. Great walks on the property and only a short drive to stores and restaurants. Probably the best vrbo we’ve ever stayed at!

A fabulous stay just outside Moreton-in-Marsh

What a beautiful cottage this is. Lovely throughout, an excellent kitchen (which was well equipped, too), great shower, very comfortable beds… what’s not to like? And the welcome pack was most welcome! I have no hesitation at all in recommending Slade Stables as your base for a Cotswolds sojourn

A lovely weekend away in this beautiful barn conversion

My mother and I had a lovely weekend away in this superb barn conversion. The cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped, quiet and relaxing. Our host met us with the key and was so welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t have wished for a more comfortable place to stay. We will definitely hope to return.

Another perfect stay

This is the 2nd visit we've made, the first being last August. Jane is a wonderful host and the cottage is perfection down to the smallest detail. I can't recommend it highly enough, we'll definitely be going back.

We loved our stay at Slade Stables, it was beautiful and lovingly decorated. My 87-year old mother and my sister and I stayed here for 1 week. There were only 2 beds so we shared one of them for three of us to stay. It is out on a farm in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside & we rented a car to get around the area. Slade Stables is halfway between Morton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold so a vehicle is a must for anyone staying here. Our host, Jane, was excellent and provided loving touches such as fresh flowers, and some basic foods to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this place for someone wanting to explore the Cotswolds.
