Lovely bungalow ideal for steam/ golf enthusiasts

The bungalow is ideal situated for both golf and steam enthusiasts, being close to the golf course and by the side of the steam railway line. Three good double bedrooms and well equipped kitchen with a lovely garden space with table and chairs. It was our fourth stay and was as good as ever.

Comfortable and Welcoming Property

Excellent parking always a bonus. However, some upgrading now required. The addition of bedroom chairs, hooks behind doors and mirror in twin room would improve the facilities.

Family holiday

The Sidings is a beautiful bungalow located so close to all the amenities of Sheringham. It is very much a home from home. Very comfortable accommodation with a lovely garden to sit in & enjoy the steam trains going by. Will definitely go again.

Beautiful Bungalow

We stayed at this property for two weeks and the bungalow was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The view at the bottom of the garden was outstanding with the trains going past (steam and diesel) you couldn’t ask for better. The bungalow was very well equipped with everything. We were welcomed with wine and chocolates and schmachos for our little dog, a very welcomed kind gesture. We did find it a little bit invasion of our privacy the owner needing to come round and water the plants especially unannounced on our second week and just turning up whilst we were out in the garden.

The property is spacious and it was nice to be able to sit out in the garden. It was lovely to catch a glimpse of a steam train occasionally and see the carriages come/go from the sidings. Ideally located with a short walk to the town and beach.

Nice bungalow

The initial impression was good; however, there were a few problems: the main TV didn't work, but the owner fixed it the same day, though it did switch itself off at 10 pm (annoying if you're watching a murder mystery or waiting for News at Ten). The boiler was banging pipes at 4 am. The owner came to fix it. But he just turned the boiler off (luckily, the weather was quite mild, just a bit chilly first thing in the morning). The couches, beds and bedding could do with updating, and finally, the showers were not too good. Having owned holiday gîtes in France for many years, I do appreciate the problems that happen. After two visits, we did not want to bother the owner again. I hope you take this as constructive criticism

Ideal place to stay just off the Main Street

Lovely holiday again. Ideal place to stay being just off the main busy area. The trains going by at the bottom of the garden are brilliant to watch. Great bungalow in best setting to be near main entertainment but in a quieter area.

Lovely bungalow and trains too!

We had a lovely stay at the Sidings. The bungalow had everything we could want. The garden was lovely to sit in ,an extra bonus was the steam trains going by. It was an easy walk to the town. I have stayed in Sheringham many times,this was one of the best properties. Would love to stay again.

We had another lovely stay at this really nice bungalow. It is perfect for all the family including our little dog. The location is very close to all amenities. The garden is great to sit in the sun & watch the steam trains go by. A fab holiday for all.

Superb place to stay

This property is a definite must foe anyone looking to stay in Sheringham, ample space, very clean and tidy, laze in the back garden and watch the steam train on the Poppy line pass by. A five minute walk will get you to the bus station where you can catch the bus and explore Cromer or Wells. If staying at home is your thing there is nothing that you will need that is not already supplied by the owners of this superb property.

We had a brilliant holiday at The Sidings. The bungalow was just what we needed, comfortable, location was excellent and everything required was there and catered for. We will definitely go again next year. Plus the trains passing by at the end of the garden is a bonus.

Excrllent Holiday Accomodation

An excellent holiday home, well equipped, clean and comfortable, backing onto the stream railway line so you can sit on the patio in the sun and watch traims go by. A short walk to town and both heritage and national rail stations. Fuel station and convenience store a stones throw away. A nice selection of welcome goodies for you and your dog. Loads of off road parking is a big advantage.

A lovely Sherringham break.

The Sidings is a lovely place to stay in Sherringham especially with parking and so close to the town. We have been twice and intend to go again later in the Autumn. Ideal setting backing onto the railway. The bungalow is clean comfortable and has everything you could need. Dee is lovely and very helpful.
