The host bent over backwards to try to make sure we were looked after during our stay. The place was very clean, it had what we needed and it was a quaint little town.

We had a wonderful stay in Cunninghame house. The flat is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with all you might need. Personal welcome note, fresh flowers, welcome basket …Thank you, Julie!

Fabulous apartment situated perfectly in the fabulous little town. The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise on check-in, and just added to the enjoyment of the apartment. Fabulously stocked with everything you could need for a stay, good sized rooms, comfortable bed, all the pots and pans for a gourmet meal. And minutes walk to the Red Lion for a pint.

This accommodation is fabulous! It’s nestled in the heart of Culross, and is beautifully appointed. It’s obvious that a lot of time and care has been put into making this space a welcoming and comfortable experience.

Great place!

Excellent experience staying in this lovely flat. Beautiful property with all the needed amenities, great location and wonderful host. Super quick to respond and answer any questions. Wonderful welcome basket was very thoughtful and much appreciated ❤

Excellent Location

Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. Amazing host. Perfect location for exploring Fife. The history of Culross. The coast, proximity to the Highlands and the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Highly recommend this location.

Lovely location

Great location. Clean flat. Bathroom was a little unusual and lacked enough privacy. Happy with the washer available.

Perfect

We only stayed one night but wish we had been able to stay longer. It was the perfect way to end our Scotland trip, and the owner was wonderful. Even made dinner reservations for us when I couldn’t get my phone to work.

This was our favorite accommodation during a 10-day trip to Scotland. The space is in an old church and is beautifully and creatively renovated and comfortable to boot. There's parking right outside the door. And when you step onto the street, you're right in the middle of an incredible historic area that even served as the set for filming some episodes of Outlander. The cozy and tasty Red Lion Inn is just a minute's walk away. We originally booked here because not only did it look great but it's only a 35-minute drive to the airport. But this place and area deserves more than a day, so plan to stay longer. The host was kind and a good communicator. Highly recommend!

Culross gem!

We needed a place to stay to bring us closer to Edinburgh for an afternoon train after spending a week in Ayr. Edinburgh was looking pretty pricey so we opted to find something out of town to save some money. This space did not disappoint! Lots of kitchen utensils and staples, a lovely welcome basket and great amenities in the bathroom. Our one night stay in Culross had more supplies than our house in Ayr!! Fabulous host. Recommended dinner at the red Lion and they had a great menu with a fantastic kids menu as well as selection for mom and dad. Nice visit at the nearby castle for a fancy coffee after check out. Highly recommend!

We give this a ‘20” out of “10”!!!

I originally booked our last night in this apartment for proximity to the airport. As we drove into this lovely little town of Culross, we were instantly enamored with the quaint, old world charm and beauty! When we arrived at the Culross house, our excitement grew in anticipation of staying in such a beautiful old building that obviously used to be a Church. Julie did an amazing job, giving us every detail that we needed to feel right at home. As we entered the apartment, we felt like little kids discovering every tiny aspect of this beautiful place. The attention to detail, the myriad of amenities to make our stay comfortable and special are too many to mention! From the personalized welcome sign, the Wi-Fi password, the basket of goodies, chocolates on the pillow, to a fur covered water bottle for the bed if it gets too cold, so many surprising little details. Even the glassware and silverware were elegant. It felt like we stayed in a very high end designer home, just so comfortable and lovely! We wish we had spent our entire vacation here instead of Glencoe and Skye! We will be back to explore more and will definitely stay here! Can’t recommend this place enough! It will grab your heart and won’t let go!

Ein wunderbares Apartment, um Culross, aber auch Edinburgh zu erkunden. Wir waren nur zwei Übernachtungen da, aber hatten alles was wir brauchten direkt vor Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten muss man sich allerdings in den umliegenden Ortschaften suchen, dafür gibt es ein Inn direkt im Ort.

Perfection

Everything about our short break was perfect, gorgeous location, quiet and peaceful surroundings, lovely walks with our dog and a great pub for lunch. Welcome pack was the best I have ever seen and a well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and tidy. Selection of games to keep you entertained and a comfy couch for those lazy moments. of which we had plenty. A gorgeous place to get away from the world and sompleased we could bring our dog with us.

Most wonderful holiday

I was made to feel so welcome :) The hostess was so helpful, left wonderful treats and the most comfortable flat. I slept so well and the linens and blankets were extremely comfortable. I hope to visit again. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Close to the beach, pub, museum and bus for getting around. 10/10 to be sure! I loved it. There were so many extras also, soaps and shampoos, food for my first day. I can't say enough. Many thanks.
