Great location and close to a lot of attractions

We enjoyed our stay and found the proximity to restaurants, metro and sight seeing areas excellent

Nice spot

The balcony is nice, the kitchen is well stocked, and the location is perfect—just outside the loudest, most touristy areas, but central to everything. I really liked it here!

The location is central and everything is walkable which was a huge benefit to our stay. And whilst the roof terrace is a little overlooked, its a lovely spot to wind down and plan the next day. Be aware of neighbours who do their washing until after midnight and sit outside at 3am. The shower is lovely hot and the bed is comfortable.

We spent a week in the apartment and loved it. The apartment is spacious, the fully equipped kitchen is perfect, everything is clean, and the small terrace is very pleasant. We were working remotely, and the Wi-Fi works very well. It’s a 15-minute walk to Praça do Comércio. The location is central.

Although the apartment was located within walking distance of Alfarma and Rossio, we had to initiate contact to obtain entry details on arrival. The facilities in the apartment were not as advertised. The toilet facility was extremely restricted, the range hood was extremely noisy and the internet and TV were non existent. Despite numerous communication with Guest Ready, they assured us that a technician would rectify the issue, but was never resolved. We were staying for 5 nights and were in the middle of an extended holiday where the internet and access to news broadcasts were essential. The inability of Guess Ready to rectify the issue caused extra cost in our data. This was very disappointing.

Alfama Apartment

Technically not Alfama, but Mouraria. A bit edgier so be wary. Hilly area so hard on folks with mobility challenges. The apartment is a 2 floor walk up. That said, it was clean and well appointed. The bed is quite firm but still comfy, but may not suit everyone. Space heaters on site for cooler months. Some minor issues with fixtures not working but we trust those will be resolved as we let her know. The upper terrace is a highlight. Just mind your head going up. Location is very close to where the sightseeing trams (12 and 28) start, and a short walk further to the city tour buses. The Rossi train station is also nearby so it makes a side trip to Sintra easy. There are a few mini convenience stores very close for food and beverages but we would recommend going back to Martim Moniz Square (5 minutes walk) and get things at Continente.

Einige Rezensionen beklagen die Lage der Wohnung in einem nicht so ruhigen Teil der Stadt. Es ist zwar so, dass auf der Straße viel los ist, aber wir wurden nie ungewollt angesprochen und haben uns nicht unsicher gefühlt. Die Straße, in der die Wohnung ist, erschien uns eher typisch für das rege Treiben in Mouraria. In den kleinen Läden und Lokalen kann man auch gut mal eine Pizza holen, einkaufen sollte man aber im Supermarkt; das ist günstiger. In der Wohnung hat man von dem Treiben und dem Verkehr auch nicht viel mitbekommen, weil die Fenster nach hinten auf einen Innenhof gerichtet sind. Schön ist auch, dass die alte Tram direkt durch die Straße fährt.

Séjour dans Lisbonne populaire.

L' appartement est très bien situé, refait à neuf dans un vieil immeuble. Deuxième et dernier étage sans ascenseur...Les 3 stores étaient cassés, (heureusement ouverts !). Lit 160 très confortable. Très bon séjour.
