Located close to Santa Croce Square and the Bargello Museum, this apartment is ideal for hosting groups of friends or large families, with 8 comfortable beds. The apartment is located inside Palazzo Libri, an ancient and elegant historic residence. It has three bedrooms (two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and one twin with external bathroom), and a living room with kitchenette with a comfortable double sofa bed. There is a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals and a study area to work comfortably. The apartment is also equipped with a washing machine and Wi-Fi connection. There is also a very comfortable lift.

We had a pleasant stay in Florence with two other couples. Everything was delightful. The rental was within walking distance of all we wanted to see and do…very convenient to everything. Large and roomy when we returned after full days in the city. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great location. Beautiful city. The apartment was very nice. We did notice some non- working fans, but luckily we only used 2 bedrooms so we were able to move fans around . The building elevator was great! The washing machine was difficult to use so we stopped trying. It would help if there were a picture of what buttons are what along with the instructions left for guests. If I messaged the owner, I was responded to fairly quickly.

When we arrived, one of the showers was visibly broken and when I contacted the host, they said they would not be able to get a plumber to fix it in time. We had four women staying in this apartment and it became an inconvenience to not have the third working shower. The host should have had this fixed before we arrived. Besides this hiccup, the stay was fine and located in a great area. Would not recommend for the summer if you will be uncomfortable in the heat, as there is no AC, only fans.

This was a wonderful stay. There was so much room for the 6 of us. We loved having 3 full bathrooms! The large kitchen was perfect for eating our breakfast together as a family.

It was very easy to get around Florence from the apartment. Super easy from the train station, close to the buses, and walkable throughout the city.

Please note there is no air conditioning. The ceiling fan over our bed in the front of the house did not have a remote to turn it on. Then only one floor fan worked that were sitting in the apartment which we needed. Not much furniture so we sat at the kitchen table.We had trouble with the code getting into the box where the key was. The codes they gave me didn’t work. I nice gentleman helped us get a workable code. There’s not enough signal in the building to talk with the gentleman so I stood outside and then got word to my friends and they were able to open the box where the key was stored. The bathrooms were updated nicely. Great location to walk to the sites. The host suggested to have dinner at Acqua 2 restaurant at the end of the street. The food was excellent. We enjoyed it very much. I received consistent reminders of the rules which seemed to be excessive and annoying which didn’t feel welcoming.We still had a great two nights.

Great shopping area

This was a four generation, all girls trip with ages ranging from 13 to 86. Most places were accessed by walking with plenty of food and shopping nearby. We enjoyed afternoon aperitif’s daily. However, I missed the fact there was no air conditioning and it was a bit challenging with temps in the 90s during our stay. Great location!

Fantastic Florence Flat

The location is amazing and the apartment had plenty of room for 8 of us! It is located on a quiet street, but very close to all the action, which made it easy for us to see most of the city. There was no A/C as they had just replaced the windows and had not installed the new A/C, but the host was kind and gave us a discount on our stay. When we come back to Florence, we will for sure stay here again!

The apartment was in a great location. It would have been nice to have shampoo, soap, and lotion that would have lasted for the time we stayed. We would stay here again because of the location and roominess of the apartment. It was clean. It would have been nice to have a place to hang towels in the bathroom areas as well as a place to put shampoo etc while in the shower. A small chest of drawers in each bedroom would be wonderful so that our clothes would be more conveniently acessible than having them in our suitcases on the floor.

We have never left a bad review for any of the past places that we have stayed in , and hesitated leaving a bad review for this place, but, we just could not let others pay for a place that looked the way this one did until they heard what we were given. The communication was good until we complained about the state of cleanliness. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets; glassware, cooking pots and cutlery. The floors had dirt and dust everywhere. A sofa bed in the kitchen/dining room had stains and there was something spilled on it that leaked down onto the bed mechanism below.We looked at the pictures posted and what the place looked like when we arrived, it was clearly staged for the photos. We were told that we would be refunded the cleaning charge. At the time of this review we have not received any refund. It has been 2 weeks since ce we stayed here.Please be aware that we would NOT recommend staying here.

Sweet dreams for all!

Our family of five (three college age girls) spent the last week at Civico 7 and it was perfect! We all agreed we would stay here again. The location is perfectly close to everything. The space is large, clean and was more than enough room for us for our time there. Checking in and out was simple and we had early access which was amazing as we came in from Bologna on the train and were in, unpacked and able to be out and about seamlessly. Thank you for hosting us!

We already know that there are no air condition in apartment, however, two of the ceiling fan doesn't work, and the management company couldn't fix them during our stay, so we were using portable fans to circulate the air in the apartment, it was so hot and the portable fans didn't do that much to cool down the temperature, we couldn't not sleep at all at night. The owner and the management company should make sure all the ceiling fans are working before they rent the apartment through Vrbo, or they should disclose it to the customer ahead of time. This apartment is not liveable in Summer, travelers might suffer sever heat stroke from staying in it.I have no idea how this apartment got a 9.2 star rating at Vrbo, based on my experience it doesn't deserve even a one star rating.My advice to future travelers to this apartment, Don't choose it is Summer time, you won't get sweet dreams in it as they advertise for it, if you are able to sleep to start with in that much heat without working ceiling fans. Look for another apartment with an AC in it.

There is plenty of Fans around the apartment, the ceiling ones work properly, and many guests enjoyed their stay just fine! Let’s start with the communication which I find very important to ease my mind when booking a vrbo overseas! The communication with our host was outstanding! Quick response to all our questions. The information to check in was very clear and very detailed with a youtube video on how to access the key lock box. The apartment was huge with three full baths and very large bedrooms and comfy beds. It was exactly as shown in photos. Very charming, warm and very clean. The location is excellent! We walked everywhere to all the sites and the train station is only 15 minutes away by taxi. Definitely a great apartment if your looking for large, convenient place. Would stay here again.

While this property was in a great location, it was not ideal. There were a number of things that were broken, including lights, ceiling fans, towel racks, front entry key pad. There was no dishwashing soap provided, and very little shampoo and soap provided. While the management company was responsive, we were out and sightseeing and didn’t have time to connect. I would advise future guests to ask about what has been fixed before booking a stay.

It was a beautiful space with a bathroom for every bedroom. We enjoyed the communal space and the location, which was basically a walk to everything we wanted to see. We only took a cab once and that was because it was so hot. The big drawback of this property is that there is no air conditioning and we visited in July, so there was little relief from the heat. I found the mattress in the master bedroom to be very firm, but my husband loved it. Overall, the location really makes up for some of the flaws.
