We are delighted to offer our Japandi apartment, in the heart of central Manchester's Gay Village. The property has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, featuring an open plan kitchen, living, and dining area. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 4 guests.
Japandi, as the name suggests, is a mix of Japanese and Scandinavian styles. It is influenced by the ancient Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, a way of life which values slow-living, contentment and simplicity, as well as the Scandinavian practice of hygge, which embraces comfort, cosiness and wellbeing.
The Space:
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, washer/dryer, Nespresso machine, a kettle and a toaster. We also offer Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper. There is a 4 seater dining table perfect for enjoying a meal together with family and friends. This space also offers an excellent workspace for those who may be travelling on business.
BEDROOMS
There is 1 king-size bedroom, fitted with blackout curtains and a spacious double wardrobe. Here you will find the towels, a hairdryer, and an electric fan.
BATHROOMS
There bathroom features a walk-in rainfall-style shower. We provide bath and hand towels which can be found in the wardrobe, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
LIVING AREA
The living area features a 55 inch smart TV with complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime TV access, as well as a large, comfy sofa.
SOFA BED
The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double sofa-bed. Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. LOCATION & PARKING
This property is located in Manchester’s city centre district of Gay Village. You can be Manchester’s central bar and retail district within walking distance. There is a public car park located across the road - charges may apply.
Guest Access:
Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250. This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. No monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Getting Around:
This property is located in Manchester City Centre, a short walking distance from many bars and restaurants on Portland Street and in the Gay Village. There is a public car park located on Sackville Street - charges may apply. Manchester Oxford Road Station and Manchester Piccadilly Station are both around 5-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. St Peter's Square is also just 5-10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note:
Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. If the elevator is out of order, you will be required to take the stairs up to the 1st floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking.
