Quinta Das Areias is a small development of 2-story individually owned apartments in a Moorish style architecture.
Car parking and tennis courts are free and safe. The apartments have an appointed gardener to maintain the gardens, lawns, flowering trees, rose bushes, giant cactus plants and palms. The swimming pool area is nicely landscaped and has its own playground with swings.

Nearby Armação de Pêra is a picturesque fishing village with cobbled streets, old church, good restaurants and night-life! Take a walk over the longest beach in the Algarve and come in on the boardwalks at the marshes of Salgados, a bird-watchers paradise.

Note for Birdwatchers: behind the apartment are little sandy lanes where you will discover hoopoe birds, bee-eaters, canaries and lots of other native and migratory species. Bring your binoculars!

Within walking distance: Supermarkets, numerous restaurants and coffee-shops, car hire, hair salons, choice of beaches, cliff and rural walks, music bars. The nearby Figueirinhas Hotel has billiards, volleyball, poolside entertainment, kiddies playground - and Karaoke if you are in the singing mood! Hop-on bicycles from the beach near Lord’s Bar (great nightly entertainment here too). Or hop on the tourst train (Comboio túristico) that passes and will spin you around the local area and dowm to Armação de Pêra
