Trip to Porto

The apartment was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. It was far enough from the city center to be quiet but is still close enough to explore the city by foot. We had a great time staying here!

Our host was gracious and accommodating. Our flight from the US arrived in the AM, but check-in wasn't until 2PM but Jeronimo was very accomodating. The listing was accurate, apartment well equipped with essentials. Previous renters left behind some basic essentials eg sugar, coffee, laundry detergent, etc. (which we replenished). We walked everywhere and it was a nice short 'downhill' walk to the city center and 'uphill' back. This wasn't an issue just know so you having good walking shoes. The apartment is located w/n walking distance to the main train station. There are several cafes and small grocery stores nearby. In our opinion, it's a great central location for a Porto vacation w/o being in the city center. This is a nice, clean, fairly priced, well appointed VRBO with a friendly & accommodating host. Highly Recommend. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this apartment in Porto! Close to everything including metro, supermarkets and a few restaurants and bars. We chose to walk down to the tourist areas which is very doable from this location, and we took Ubers back for a small price. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful stay

Loved the location and the home itself. Had a lovely stay. Ate dinner just up the road at Mamma Mia’s which was awesome. And another night we went to Don Castro’s for the local cuisine, rang the doorbell to get in for dinner. It was awesome.

We had such an incredible stay! The apartment is lovely and in a quiet neighborhood. It is also very conveniently located near metro (about a three minute walk down the hill). We had everything we needed and really appreciated all of the big windows. We would highly recommend and hope to come back ourselves! Thank you for hosting us, Jerónimo!

We loved Jeronimo’s apartment. His great reviews are well deserved. The apartment was very clean and perfect for my husband and I. We didn’t use the 2nd bedroom. The loft has a lot of storage space, and a corner desk and chair, which came in handy. It got very hot when we were out & about and had the AC turned off, but it cools up pretty quickly. The nice part of this place is that it is only a couple of blocks from the metro which we used quite often to go to the harbour area, which is beautiful. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. We also discovered Santa Catarina St., which is a busy area of shops, cafe’s, a large indoor shopping mall, and a fantastic indoor market with fruits, veggies, fish, cheeses, hand-made crafts and everything else you could imagine. We definitely would come back to this place.

Loved this neighborhood! The host was very accommodating and let me check in early. The apartment was clean and very secure. I was even able to see the fireworks from the balcony during the festival! Highly recommend and I will likely come back! It felt like home.

The apartment is clean and spacious. The host very nice, accommodating and responsive. The apartment is on a quiet street. It is a walk up of 2 levels and once inside the bedrooms on on the second level level. It is 25 to 30 minute walk from major sightseeing areas. Otherwise highly recommend. The trains in Porto are clean, reasonable price and safe. I had no issues. Ubers are plentiful.

Amazing apartment!

My sister and I stayed for nearly 2 weeks and loved this apartment. It was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It was a great home base for us while we explored Porto and surrounding areas. Jeronimo was welcoming and had helpful recommendations for things to do and places to go as well. Highly recommend!
