Kefalonia apartments: lovely apartments near Lourdas beach with swimming pool
The Water side studios are located near the charming beach of Lourdas.
The studios are pretty simple but nicely furnished. The interior is made in pastel colors.
The studios are spacious enough and designed for 2-3 persons: two guests will comfortably sleep in a double or 2 single beds, for the third guest we will offer an extra bed.
Each studio is a one space of about 33 m2, equipped with a double bed or 2 single beds, a unfolding chair, a kitchenette, dining table, spacious wardrobe, a mirror with a console, a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, WC.
Cozy balcony offers beautiful view of the Ionian Sea. The ground floor studios have a partial sea view as the greenery overshadows the full view.
The spacious, clean pool will cool you on a hot day.
Near the Water side studios there is parking place, which easily accommodates the cars of all our guests.
Lourdas beach is just a couple of minutes walk: the beach boasts a long coastline, most of which is covered with soft sand. The left side of the beach is covered by stones.
Behind the small harbor there is a beautiful sandy wild beach where you can hide from prying eyes if you prefer a secluded vacation.
Within 3-5 minutes walk from the studios you will find taverns, cafes, a shop.
By mini-bus, directly from the beach, you can get to the main road and take a public bus to Argostoli, Sami, Poros. The same mini-bus will take you to the nearby Trapezaki beach.
Lourdata is a small, cozy town, rising from the sea along the mountainside upward as an amphitheater. The houses are wrapped in greenery, flowering shrubs.
On the left, the beach rests on a plateau that you can climb to enjoy gorgeous views of the incredible colors of the Ionian Sea, the graceful shores of Lourdas Bay.
Lourdata can serve as an excellent starting point for traveling around the island of Kefalonia. At a distance of 15 km you can admire such magical beaches and lagoons as Agios Thomas, Pessada, Spartia, Thermanti, Avithos, Ema beach at Cape Liacas.
Be sure to visit Argostoli, walk along the promenade, the pedestrian Litostroto street, admire the giant Caretta-Caretta turtles, sit in cozy cafes and taverns.

Our happy place!
My sister and I have been here before and love the location and general peace and quiet. The weather didn’t get the memo this year but we still had an amazing joy.
Evgenia could not have been more helpful and we even managed to meet her on our last day!!
Back next year … please!

Gorgeous as always
Really great stay in our favourite apartment. The free air conditioning was a bonus this year as temperatures reached 35Only downside was people in adjoining apartment (Milos) smoking at breakfast making early morning balcony seating impossible. Very happy with a visit from host and overall easygoing ambiance of Waterside. Can’t wait to go back. X

Lourdas, you never disappoint
Once again my sister and I had a wonderful week in Kefalonia, this time choosing June over our normal September stay. Good call. In June, although unusually hot everything is fresh and new. Plants are flowering, restaurants full of enthusiasm.
As usual, Waterside Studios reached all expectations. Only problem was our accommodation provided a double and 1 ‘single’ rather than the 2 singles we would have preferred. The single was … challenging. We took turns to use it. Evgenia was the perfect hostess, even trying to arrange a catch up with us before we left. We hope to return next year. We LOVE waterside studios!!

Stayed here many times. Always good value with basic facilities as expected for the price. Area and location outstanding Saddened to see bathroom facilities were poor. Shower trays chipped and broken.Shower curtain mouldy. Dirty floor mop unacceptable. Bathroom and worktop not cleaned. Towels disgustingly flat and grey. On emptying washbasin foul water flooded through grill in floor. Come on guys, we love this place. Up your game! Basic hygiene.

Monolocale meno che ordinario, livello di pulizia basso a partire dalla tenda doccia particolarmente sporca e con scarico del lavandino bagno ostruito (per necessità ed urgenza ho dovuto disostruire al momento), saponi insufficienti per qualità e numero (saponettine da reclame?). In cucina due piastre elettriche di cui una piccola e con regolatore rotto, pentolame modesto e vecchio con padella inutilizzabile per lo stato di usura. L'assenza di zanzariere ( per la qual cosa mi ero offerto di installarle a mie spese) ci ha costretto a dormire con le imposte di metallo "total black" chiuse, al caldo non tollerando il condizionatore. Sia la piscina che la vista mare e tutte le recensioni lette sul sito ( che non ritengo da giustificare in quanto non andrebbero pubblicate se non verificate) restano "uno specchietto" per le allodole ed i creduloni come ME!

Mooi appartement, Rustig strand.
Goed zwembad met uizicht op zee. Verschillende restaurants en mini market op loopafstand.

The hotel offers you an excellent location: The sandy Lourdas beach with azure waters is about 3 min walk.
The apartments are basic but well-furnished, offering kitchenette, bathroom with sink, shower&WC; double bed and fold-out chair-bed, that gives an extra sleeping place. An extra bed can be also provided.
Balconies offer a lovely view of the Ionian Sea. The pool will chill out you in a hot day.
For the convenience of guests, there is ample parking space.
