Awesome place!

Really nice apartment stocked with everything I needed, and even had a washing machine which was a huge time and money saver for me. Loved the design of the apartment, and the location was central to all the sites, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Amazing location & great base

Location perfect for exploring Bologna and beyond. Property was just what we needed as a base for 2 adults & 2 kids. Couple of minor things that could be improved but nothing that would put us off recommending

San Martino

A pleasant stay in the heart of town. Easy access to everything. The apartment is very sunny on the top floor of the building with views of the rooftops.

Amazing in every way!

Location is amazing! Being on 4th & 5th floors is awesome. Looking over all of the uneven rooftops from the upper bedroom and na to room loft on floor 5 is so interesting and charming. Being right next to a very old church and hearing its bells is super cool. Living room windows open to hear antreet noise if you like the charm of it, or you can close windows and drown it out. And of course, it’s right by the main piazza, with so much going on. It’s so centrally located. The property itself is fantastic. Spacious, light and bright in every room, excellent windows everywhere that open to being in fresh air in any room you want, super comfortable bed, awesome bathrooms, nice decor, kitchen is great, the safety is great—doors are very secure—and the whole building feels very safe and secure. It’s a very cool and unique “old world” style property. The management company was awesome to work with. So communicative and efficient.

Construction mess, power outage, unable to contact Host in Emergency

Pros; great location, nice apartment. CONS: Avoid properties Hosted by Wonderful Italy, like this one is. Why? Wed return to apt, loft floor has debris all over the place. Ext construction proj causing interior stucco to break off onto floor, stairs, bed, AND,workers visible thru window in the shower, they can c us! call Host no response. clean up debris ourselves, ask workers to stop. Thurs, work resumes,new mess, water heater vent gets knocked off, potential deadly CO issue,Still no resp from Host, we talk to workers again, work halted. Host finally responds 24 hrs late states "systems" were down.Friday eve go to dinner, return 9 pm, NO LIGHTS, no power, no matches to light candle, borrow lighter from cafe, call Host, no resp, incl emer #, call VRBO, cannot reach Host either, but won't move us w/o email pic to prove we r in the dark, email not working, no power all night, bedroom in loft w no hand rail, no ac, getting warm, must cancel excursion next day as don't know when power will return, cell batteries dying, go to cafe in am to charge, still no pow, not Host rest, call constr worker, gets project mgr to come to apt and have pow fixed. Host rest later in day, opps! We loose 3 of 7 days of vaca due to Host not reachable, will refund minimal act, incl a whole 44 e for power outage mess that was stressful, no idea when repair would occur, no help from HOST or VRBO, only fixed cause WE were able to get help from constr crew ourselves, HOST could not be reached when needed

Thank you for your feedback, Richard. We are very sorry for the inconveniences you experienced and that our support was not enough to make your stay pleasant. We would like to point out that the situation described is not representative of our standard service and was caused by a series of unforeseen events. Some workers had planned an inspection on the roof of the building. However, having detected a bigger problem than expected, they started some major interventions without notifying us. In order to work safely, they cut the power and closed the gas. We want to clarify that, as you said, with no power supply the boiler cannot work, so there was no risk of carbon monoxide production or gas leakage. Following your complaints, we immediately contacted the site manager, who had the technicians fix the boiler pipe and the baseboard at the end of the work, and we arranged a free additional cleaning service for the following morning. We take our guests' reviews very seriously and are committed to continuously improving our service, we have therefore given you a partial refund and we hope to host you again in order to make you change your mind about us.
