The property itself is beautiful, and the location is excellent. The home has so much potential, but it definitely needs more attention to cleaning and upkeep. It seemed that the cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job on the floors, toilets, countertops, or other high-touch areas.Everything felt sticky, and we had to wipe down the toilets before using them. Within an hour of walking around, everyone’s feet and socks were dark from the floors, which appeared to have not been cleaned in quite a while. We also came across blunt wraps and half-smoked cigars in one of the closets, which suggested the space hadn’t been fully inspected before our stay.The plumbing could also use some work — several of the toilets required multiple flushes to clear properly. The pool was very dirty and green with algae, making it unusable. That’s understandable since it’s past swimming season, but it would still be nice if the pool and deck were kept clean for appearance and maintenance purposes.That said, the property itself is large and great for a big group, and the outdoor space was very nice. Just a heads-up: there’s a 100 pool fee that was charged on our stay even though the pool wasn’t usable for the season, but the hosts did reimburse it quickly.The hosts were responsive and easy to reach, which we appreciated.
