The Beach House Versilia is a residence overlooking the main square of Torre del Lago on the ocean side, a residential neighborhood of Viareggio where all major amenities are just a short walk away—and the only area in Versilia with large, free public beaches as well as equipped beaches available for a fee. It consists of a very bright apartment on the first and top floor of a detached villa, completely open on all sides, with three terraces (bedroom, kitchen, and living room) and a ground-floor garden furnished with a table and chairs in the shade of a large umbrella, complete with lighting for the evening. The apartment does not have private parking, but you can park for free on nearby public streets. Pets are not allowed. From here, you can walk to all the main amenities, such as a supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, produce stand, fresh pasta shop, wine shop, sandwich shop, café, ice cream shop, pizzerias, and restaurants, as well as bike rentals, a pharmacy, a hair salon, clothing stores, sportswear shops, and a playground with inflatable attractions, etc. The location is ideal for reaching, in just a few minutes by car, the wide, free beach, as well as paid, fully equipped beaches and seaside bars; Lake Massaciuccoli with its open-air theater and the museum dedicated to composer Giacomo Puccini; the famous Viareggio promenade, and other Versilia towns such as Lido di Camaiore, Marina di Pietrasanta, and Forte dei Marmi. In 30 minutes, you can reach Pisa with its Leaning Tower, or Lucca with its medieval walls; there are also two water parks. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach Florence with its Renaissance palaces and Ponte Vecchio, or Siena and its Piazza del Campo, where the Palio is held twice a year, or visit the marble quarries in the nearby Apuan Alps and many other charming small villages in the vicinity. In February, just a 5-minute drive away, you can see—and even participate in—the Viareggio Carnival and local festivals. The location is also ideal for Lucca Comics, held between October and November, which is reachable by train or car in less than 30 minutes. Throughout the year, you can rent boats for excursions along the coast; in the summer, the nightclubs of Versilia are just a short drive away. Near the apartment, you’ll find a train station and bus stops for the beach, the lake, and downtown Viareggio, as well as a night bus to the clubs in the marina and the dock area. From here, you can also set out on excursions through the pine forest and hiking trails in the mountains—either on your own or on organized tours with varying levels of difficulty. Just 5 minutes away, you can board the ferry to visit the Cinque Terre. <br>There’s so much more to discover—whether you’re looking to experience a new adventure every day or simply enjoy a day of total relaxation, perhaps with an aperitif or dinner in the apartment’s exclusive garden. Upon your arrival and throughout your stay, you can count on my support for any information you need or should any issues arise.
