Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with decking, furniture, barbecue and hot tub, a shared front courtyard and external games room with table tennis, pool table, air hockey and table football and off-road parking is available. Within 2.6 miles you will find a shop, and within 2.5 miles, a pub. Please note from 14th sept 2024 this is a pet friendly property. Non-smoking property. WIFI, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. Oak cottage is a beautiful property, ideal for a relaxing trip to Devon. Note: The staircase is steep, please use the handrail provided. Note: The property is situated near the owner’s house. Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Exmoor and the stunning coast of North Devon may both be explored from the historic community of North Molton. The village has a welcoming tavern, post office, and store that sells great home-baked foods and locally sourced produce. South Molton, a charming town nearby, has a variety of stores and a twice-weekly market. This charming community is sure to please visitors of all tastes because it is conveniently near to both beach and inland beauty sites. Forests, moors, rivers, and beaches are all nearby, as are churches and other historical structures. The Exmoor National Park's border is only a mile or two away. The South West Coast Path offers excellent hiking opportunities, and the North Devon shoreline is attractive and varied. Visit the funicular cliff train, Valley of the Rocks, and Watersmeet Gorge under the care of the National Trust. There are numerous walks up on Exmoor to accommodate all fitness levels, as well as picturesque locations like Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge, and the endearing small settlement of Withypool. Further afield, the resorts of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are highly recommended, and a day trip to Woolacombe and Saunton is not to be missed for some of the best beaches in the nation.
