Perfect location

Great accommodation. Perfect for friends staying for a couple nights in Donegal town. I'm walking distance to shops/bars/restaurants.

Apartment was beautiful updated. Right on the main street. A few minute walk to the city center and water front. Parking was around the corner by an Aldi’s probably paid 10 euro for 3 days of parking. On suites in every bedroom, though shower stalls were tight but manageable. Also stairways to bedrooms was narrow. Would definitely stay again. Recommendations: Old Stone and Simple Simon for breakfast, La Bella Donna for dinner

Great Stay!

Wonderful and spacious property within walking distance to everything Donegal has to offer. Very modern with all the amenities you would need. Great communication with the host and the check in process is spot on. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Great experience!

We were a group of 4 friends staying in Donegal as a base for hiking during the day and going out for dinner in the evening. As such this property was an excellent choice - especially the central location which allowed us to walk to many good local restaurants and bars. It was very clean with high quality bed linen and towels and, although not much used by us, a very well equipped kitchen. We particularly liked having 3 bathrooms. Helpful, friendly and prompt communication with host. Despite being on quite a busy main road we did not have any problem with noise

Wonderful Donegal

We were thrilled when we saw the property. It exceeds our expectations. We were comfortable and would recommend it to our friends if they’re passing that way. We may even come this way again!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location in Donegal town. A short walk to the center of town, the Aldis is just around the corner as well. This was a great base for us to explore the Donegal area. The house is well appointed, clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again with no hesitation.

White Horse House has been in my family for over 150 years. It was home to a pub, a fruit & veg shop & several generations of our family. Having completely renovated the entire house, it has been given a new lease of life and I hope many more people will enjoy its comfort & warmth. I live between London and Ireland, I am very active and enjoy the outdoors - especially hill walking & mountain climbing. I enjoy Donegal's scenic coastline, mountains, lakes and also its' people who I think are the friendliest in the world!
