Wake up & step out onto our private balcony from our Master Suite, relax in front of the fire in one of our two sitting rooms or cook up a storm & socialise in our fully equipped kitchen.

Guests love us for our large space, our cleanliness and comfort. We are perfect for golfers, large groups & families.

★ Two Sitting Rooms each with TV and Stoves. Our larger sitting room is the perfect place to socialise with recliner seats and drink holders
★ A fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven with lovely views out of the window. Our kitchen also has a dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave.
★ Our utility room has both a washing machine and tumble drier so perfect for those longer stays. We also have an outdoor washing line available for your use
★ Travel cot and highchair for those traveling with children

Weekend stay

This is an awesome place to stay to discover Donegal. We had a fantastic time with our family, in the house and on the beaches. Fantastic hosts.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and well maintained property for our trip. Close to town and the shops but with all the charm and solitude of the countryside. Julie was a gracious host, very quick to respond prior to our arrival. No need to reach out during our trip as the book in the house details everything you need to know. A lovely gathering space for larger groups!

When we arrived at Rarooey House, details were exactly as described by our host. Straight in the front door to an immaculate, beautifully decorated house. Everything was as described plus more. Our host had left a lovely welcome surprise in the kitchen. House is very handy to Donegal town, very short drive. It would be a nice walk but there is a short area without any pavements. Beautiful elevated site, surrounded by countryside. Very quiet. Lovely two seater bench with cushions on the balcony. So peaceful.

Hi, we're Julie and David born and bred in Donegal and have spent the last year renovating Rarooey House ready to welcome our guests to this beautiful part of Ireland. We have two children and we enjoy adventures as a family. We love our watersports and would find us either surfing in Bundoran or swimming and waterskiing in Mullinasole.

We enjoy heading to Donegal Town either for a nice coffee or lunch in a nice cafe or a local hotel or restaurant for dinner.

We hope you enjoy our lovely home and its beautiful surroundings. We love the quietness and listening to the song of the birds and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
