Wonderful private and peaceful villa with beautiful view of the mountains. Super host, really helpful with lots of local tips and info. Villa is really well equipped with everything you could want. Lovely place.

We are a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) who visited the property in early July 2026. The home and ammenities were absolutely wonderful. Beaches, groceries and tavernas nearby, and easy access to all of the regional cities. Very quiet and safe at night. Be prepared to drive around on very curvy and narrow roads. Can't wait to go back.

This property was very clean and spacious. The host was extremely helpful responsive and informative. The views of the white mountains were spectacular. It is in a very peaceful rural location where all you can hear is birds goats and chickens.The pool is a good size excellent for cooling off, and admiring the beautiful view. A fantastic place to switch off and relax but close to charming villages, Towns and beautiful seaside resorts.

Beautiful Villa

The location is lovely - close to beaches and towns and a 20 min walk to local village with a couple of great restaurants. The villa has everything we needed including amazing views and it was incredibly peaceful. We wanted to stay longer

We had a very happy 2 weeks at Villa Palleloni. Marianna was so helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. She even arranged for a local garage to come to the villa a repair a slow puncture which was amazing! The villa had everthing we needed and was in easy reach of a wide range of things to do and see.

Romantic holiday for two

Property was great, in a secluded spot with wonderful views of the mountains. Plenty of Tavernas and restaurants nearby. The people of Crete are so friendly and this is also a good location for visiting other areas of Crete. Maria Anna the owner of the property was brilliant, friendly and helpful . Definitely a five star venue for us

Lovely pool, well equipped villa and kitchen. Enjoyed sunsets in Almyrida. Friendly host. Useful car port. Nice outside BBQ and sofa area next to pool.

Peaceful stay

Property was well equipped with everything you can need. Stunning views that you could never get tired off. Had some issues but these were resolved with communication from owner. Would recommend.

Amazing property

We had a beautiful holiday The villa is perfect. Spacious and clean. Restaurants, shops and cafes are a short 5 to 10 mins drive. Beautiful beaches with ample parking are around 25 minutes drive Marianna was so helpful with information of places to visit and local amenities. Highly recommended. There

The villa exceeded our expectations with its lovely location, stunning views, beautiful pool and well equipped interior. We had trouble finding it due to lost signals on Google Maps on our phones and previously the owner’s phone number had a recorded message saying incoming calls were not being accepted. We only received the owner’s email with comprehensive information about the villa on our second day there. It would have been helpful to have had that in advance. We were grateful to the owner for coming to Paleloni village to guide us to the villa - a local lady helped us by ringing her.The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with great hot water. Our sheets and towels were changed along with a mid stay clean. We were grateful for the local biscuits, fruit and water - a kind gesture. We also found cooking basics like oil and spices in the cupboards and every imaginable cooking appliance. The pool was cleaned once during our ten day stay and the filter system worked well.We found the villa to be a bit further from Almyrida than advertised. It certainly took us more than ten minutes to get there and more like twenty five minutes to Kalyves where our English friends live.This would be a great choice of villa for a couple, a group of adults or a family, with the proviso that the children could swim. The pool has very little shallow water and even that would be too deep for most children to stand.We loved our stay at Villa Paleloni - thank you.

Our stay was fantastic lovely villa beautiful view of the white mountains suitable for the children a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old nice pool and easy access to Chania and Rethymno and beaches Kalyves and Almyrida perfect for children as shallow sea Marianna our host was amazing 😍😍😍😍😍sent us lots of information with Google map GPS like so everything easy to find . Thank you Marianna definitely recommend your lovely Villa xxx

Lovely experience from start to finish

My family of 5 had a great week at this villa. After a delayed flight and late arrival, Vagelis was waiting nearby to help us find our way. It was so nice to have a few starter groceries in the fridge and the pool was so amazing that we jumped right in even though it was after midnight. The villa was well-appointed and comfortable. Kids loved the wifi! A fantastic week.

Pure escapism!

As soon as we arrived at the property we were delighted with what we saw! It is very spacious and well laid out. 3 good sized bedrooms although we only used the double with the most amazing view of the white mountains.We were woken every morning by the local rooster and as soon as we opened the balcony doors the view was breathtaking each and every morning!The pool was the cleanest we’ve ever experienced in a villa.The bbq was great which we used twice.The restaurants locally served the most delicious traditional Greek food we’ve ever had!We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful little corner of Crete and will definitely be back!

The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. We arrived in the middle of the night so locating the keys was a little challenging as there are two ways of getting into the property, but we got there in the end! 😊 Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and its location is good for beaches and local restaurants. Having been to the area before it worked well for us. Missing it already!

Awesome Country Property

We spent 3 great days at this property. When we arrived, we were greeted with brushetta in the refrigerator, bottle of wine, bread, olive oil and other items. We could put our feet up after a long journey and relax. Our property manager, Marianna, was wonderful and helped us recommendations of places to eat. We loved the local restaurant that Marianna recommended. Although during the day we were gone, we came "home" to a quiet restful place with a pool and beautiful view. Definitely a five star stay and would love to go back someday and stay longer!

A Greek gem.

Beautiful house with quiet private setting. The only sounds are from the cicadas, goats and chickens. Super helpful family makes every effort to provide the best experience. Everything lived up to our expectations. Beautiful mountain views. Good and easy communication with family who live nearby. Highly recommended for those who want tranquility, local surroundings and nature. Car necessary. Mini Market in the local villages nearby. Almyrida beach ca. 10 min. drive is recommended. Das Haus ist zu empfehlen. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene. Die Gastgeberin war sehr bemüht. In den 2Wochen wurde 2mal das Haus geputzt Der Pool wurde ganz oft gereinigt.Also gepflegte Unterkunft Man braucht natürlich ein Auto Wir waren sehr zufrieden kann es nur empfehlen
