This home-from-home gives you plenty of opportunity to be together and to find space for work and me-time. The living room is located at the front of the house and features a large corner sofa that’s great for kicking back on and watching the 43-inch HDTV. You can access Netflix, so get ready for streaming sessions as well as movie nights. And when the credits roll, you can easily convert the sofa into a double bed to sleep 2 guests.

Heading further along the hall brings you to the dining area with a table and six chairs ready to host mealtimes, work sessions and games nights. And the final room on the ground floor is your modern kitchen, with smart countertops, cupboards and appliances providing all you need to self-cater in style when you stay in Southsea.

Help yourselves to the contents of the complimentary starter pack, which contains tea bags, coffee pods, sugar and milk sure to be welcome when you first arrive here and need some refreshment! And you’re also welcome to use the washer and dryer during your stay, so you can keep on top of your laundry.

There are plenty of ways you can explore the local area. If walking is an option, you’ll find plenty within a mile radius of the house to keep you entertained. Otherwise, you can always hire taxis, catch buses or use the trains – Fratton station is just a 5 minute drive away.

And booking a stay at Methuen Mews gives you the option to bring your car, as there’s permit parking on the streets around the house. Just ask for one when you book!

Leisure guests who stay in Methuen Mews will find it’s just a 10 minute walk to the beach, with Eastney Beach the nearest. But you’re sure to want to try the other beaches in the area, including Southsea beach which is just over a mile away.

Bringing the kids? Try out Canoe Lake (1.1 miles from the house) and South Parade Pier (1.3m) where you’ll find plenty to keep them entertained.
