Excellent property for 5 couples and a few kids to share for a celebration, the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner was ideal. Lunch on Saturday at The Threeways Hotel in Mickleton is also highly recommended

Great location and best option for a large extended family

Had a fantastic time, so much space and a lovely large garden for the kids and adults to enjoy the fabulous weather we had. The BBQ was well used. Thoroughly recommend

Everything was excellent

A pleasure to stay in the Duchy.We were here for a family wedding at Norton Grounds.the two property’s were great for our families and our pets The views from the balcony were amazing and we were very lucky with the weather.We would definitely visit again.

Great place for a family gathering

We had a fantastic family weekend at the Dutchy. It is in a beautiful countryside setting with a large outdoor area for games etc. there is plenty of room inside for a large group.

Lovely Stay

Fabulous accommodation for 14 members of our family aged 6 months to 98! Bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchens! Nice and warm on cooler days. Spacious garden area, well maintained Minor criticism would be low backed sofas and no lamps in living room - just bright central/ wall light. We had a lovely stay!

Great location

The views over the countryside were outstanding. The rooms in The Dutchy are large and comfortable, equipped with everything you need. The location is close to the Cotswold villages but a car is necessary. It was warm and cosy and we had 4 fabulous days.

80th birthday weekend for 11

Great accommodation that suited 3 different generations and 4 separate family groups! Comfy, warm and the shared areas were excellent. We missed out on some potentially stunning views due to foggy weather but it's a lovely setting. The walk back from the village bar was super steep - be warned!

Beautiful location

This was ideal for our families to get together. Worked well having two properties next to each other. Location was great. Excellent walks nearby, Dover's Hill was just up.the road.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed a multi-generational birthday celebration with family coming from different parts of England and Wales. The accommodations were well equipped and really spacious for 11 of us. We were fortunate to have good weather and made use of the outdoor space appreciating the peaceful surroundings and views. We were pleased to find Dover Hill and its walks so near.

Very satisfied

It was ideal for us. The rooms were very large, the property was clean and well-furnished, the setting was very attractive, the price was competitive, plenty of parking space - I could go on but everything was excellent and we had a fantastic time.

Great accomodation and location

The Dutchy was ideal for our party of 10, and was extremely conveniently located just outside Chipping Camden. We had all the information we could need prior to arrival and we don't really have any negatives about our time there. I'd say this property is ideal for a group that wants to spend a bit of time together, yet it also affords you the ability to have a bit of your own space too should you want it.

Excellent

A group of 9 friends stayed for 3 nights. Very happy to highly recommend. Immaculately clean, really comfortable beds, well equipped kitchens. Very short walk and on to the Cotswold Way. The Nissan Hut is a very warm accomodation, we stayed end of October/early November and had the heating off and windows open! Customer service was outstanding, all questions answered promptly and extremely helpful. Thank you!

Lovely properties with lots of space and worked really well for our group. Beautiful views and well equipped. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Quite a lot of the crockery in the cupboards was dirty, probably because we found the dishwasher wasn’t very efficien. Some of the towels were also stained with bleach.

They have confirmed that the cutlery was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, the dishwasher is working as it should, and any towels showing signs of staining will now be replaced. AMAZING

We were here for our son's wedding at Lapstone Barn , 6mins away by car,so convenient. The properties worked so well for us. Fantastic location lovely properties, lots of space . Weather was great as well which was a bonus. We will definitely be coming back. Only small thing would have liked more outside seating and maybe a light , but with no light pollution the night sky is amazing. Great big property for.large groups.

Great Cottage Collective Getaway

Both properties were stunning, clean and comfortable. Perfect for our annual get the friends from across the country together. The sheep made great neighbours. We did a treasure trail at Chipping Campden. Had a fabulous Sunday lunch at The Seagrave Arms. Visited the Broadway Tower. Used our Bolthole Retreats discount code to visit the stunning Sudeley Castle. We would all highly recommend The Dutchy.

Great place for a family get together

The space at both properties worked really well for a family get together to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The rooms were large and the kitchen provided everything we needed over the weekend. Nice countryside views from the upstairs rooms and lots of outside space where the children could play safely. It's well located, just a 35 minute walk to Chipping Campden where there's lots of pubs and shops and we also visited Cotswold Farm Park which was about a 15 minute drive away. We would definitely return.

A great place with excellent disabled facilitie

We used both the properties making up the Duchy for 7 people including a wheelchair user. Great facilities for disabled in the Nissan Hut. Both properties beautifully refurbished and would easily have accommodated a larger number of people. As we are all in our 70s on a College reunion break our only slightly negative was the comfort of the sofas, which were too low for us but I am sure would be fine for younger generations! Great setting and super, sheltered balcony in the barn for outside eating with a great view.

Excellent

We stayed in both cottages at the Dutchy and were SO impressed with the facilities, the amount of space and value for money. We were a group of 12, aging from 2yrs to 50+ looking for a good value family holiday and the Dutchy gave that and more. The tips of places to go, the cleanliness and the small touches such a tea and biscuits left, made it so easy to settle in and enjoy ourselves. Every single person walked in and said wow isn't this lovely. We would absolutely recommend this to others, and have already spoken about returning in the future! You made our summer holiday, thank you so much.

Fabulous

We were a group of eight on a WRAF reunion. Previous to this stay we have used hotels. Not any more. The Dutchy was comfortable and spacious and gave us the opportunity to sit together and reminisce past times. It is very central to many places in the Cotswold, however, a car is necessary. The Dutchy is well equipped and has a log burner for colder times. We enjoyed it so much , we are looking to book again next year in the next few days.
