This is a great three-floor villa with buckets of character with lots of space inside and out and a great bbq and cooking area near the pool. Its 30 minutes walk into Soller or Port de Soller (Taxi from here is 10 Euros). The directions to the villa were unnecessarily confusing. And comms with the owner/manager were a bit hit and miss. But it is still an amazing place surrounded by orange groves.

the Property is clearly skmeknes home as there are lots of their character was shown through the property. Great outside places to sunbathe, eat and relax. handy for bus stops to all the local attractions

The property was beautiful, very authentic, charming and very Mallorquin. It was most generous in providing lots loo rolls, soap, wine and water. All greatly appreciated. We did have to contact the host re directions and how to get into the property as had not received any communication. We were not able to work the cooker and the toaster was broken but over all a very generous and welcoming place to stay. The gate to the swimming pool area is brilliant for families with small children.

Attractive Poolside home

We came with our adult daughters and two small (2 & just 4 year old) grandsons. It is a visually attractive home, 3 levels, stair gates included, gated pool and plenty of places to sit and relax. Ample room for the children to play outside and adults to relax. A 5 minute walk away to a well stacked Agromart and numerous other food stores , bus stops and tram stop. Easy short bus journey to Port Soller, hiking trails, or Botanical gardens.

Beautiful property let down by a serious pest problem and poor host communication.The villa is nice — great pool, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor space and plenty of room. It has real potential.Unfortunately, we spent the entire 6-night stay dealing with a woodlice (roly poly bug) infestation that was never resolved. We noticed them the evening we checked in and immediately reported the issue. Over the following days we counted over 100 bugs in a single day across the ground floor. The infestation was present from check-in through checkout.The host's response was disappointing. The first inspection was conducted without any notice to us, while our passports and valuables were unattended. Two subsequent inspections were scheduled and both failed to happen. Throughout the stay, the host minimized the issue and we received no meaningful remedy. When speaking with VRBO, they begged us to give the host to remedy the issue. Between the host being non-responsive, we wasted a lot of time and energy trying to give the property a chance. Other things future guests should know:- Recurring sewage smell not disclosed at booking- Map pin location on the listing is incorrectFix the pest issue, disclose known issues upfront, and improve host responsiveness. Until then, we'd recommend looking elsewhere.

As the villa is located in the countryside, these insects can occasionally appear during the summer, although this has not been a recurring issue at the property. We understand this impacted your experience, and the owner has agreed to offer compensation as a gesture of goodwill. We would like to clarify that every one of your messages—68 in total, both before and during your stay—was answered promptly. We treated your concerns as a priority, arranged inspections, treated the affected areas and coordinated maintenance staff as quickly as possible. Following your concerns about the gardener attending for routine garden and pool maintenance, we took extra care to arrange future visits at suitable times. Unfortunately, it was not always possible to gain access or agree on a suitable time for further inspections. Despite several inspections, no persistent sewage smell was identified. Thank you for highlighting the map location issue. We will review this and improve the listing for future guests. We always aim to work collaboratively with our guests to resolve any concerns and are sorry that we could not achieve a satisfactory outcome on this occasion.

Lots of crockery, glasses etc. plenty of places to sit outside. Dishwasher and washing machine provided so great for keeping on top of things. Great location halfway between the beach and the town. Supermarket very nearby. The pool is shaded most of the day by big trees so doesn’t heat up well. Toaster didn’t work and the wood for the outdoor cooking area turned up on our last day so we couldn’t use the outdoor gril. This was a bit disappointing. Communication with owner was great before stay but I got no reply during the actual stay.

Highly recommend

We absolutely loved everything about this property. It’s very quaint in its decor, the pool is lovely with lots of outdoor seating and it was nice that there was plenty of shade in the garden too. The property is located perfectly for an easy bus, drive or walk to the town of Sóller or the Port. The house was clean and very well provisioned. The host was very quick to reply to any questions we had. We would definitely book to stay here again. The only 2 downsides were the mosquitos and there was also sometimes a bad smell but neither of these were the fault of the host and certainly wouldn’t put us off visiting again. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home xxx

BAD review

It was very hard to find the villa. We did not get a map and drove around for 1 hour. I am in a wheelchair and had to sleep on the sofa downstairs because of the stairs. The owner did not respond to our calls - total radio silence from her side. There was a very bad smell outside

We loved our stay at the Villa - it felt like a home full of character every time we returned to it. Comfortable, quirky, the pool was fabulous, tons of outside space and even though there was another property attached it was very private. The kitchen was hard to work in (7 women, all good cooks! ) but we managed and ate our dinners outside every night. In fact we didn’t use the inside living areas and facilities all week. There was an unpleasant drainage smell outside on occasions which was disconcerting and we suspected it was coming from a sewerage plant nearby. However this would not put me off booking again as I feel it is reflected in the competitive price charged for this property. My only gripe was the inability to make contact with the host through the platform that I booked with ( BookaBach whilst in New Zealand ) because I had my UK phone with me on this holiday and the BaB App would not download onto it. I do not think it was any fault of the host.

We had a lovely stay at this villa as a family of four. We loved the pool and the many seating areas. The terrace by the villa was lovely to eat under at night. The house is lovely and the decor is quirky. The air con in all bedrooms was appreciated and the bathrooms are lovely and large. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware, plus a dishwasher was great. Everything felt very clean. The location is advertised as near the beach which it isn’t, but easily reached by bus or a 30 min walk. The location ended up being brilliant! Bus routes to local villages and Soller and the port. The supermarket is just across the road, as is a fantastic authentic restaurant! Highly recommend visiting at least once as they are very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. The only downside is the sewage smell each night around 9pm we found, but that is beyond anyone’s control. It did sometimes make the house smell, but we aren’t fussy and ignored it. And it was mentioned in other reviews which we read and chose to stay anyway! I would suggest to the owner that the imagery is updated as it really doesn’t do that property justice! Thank you so much we really loved our stay!

Lovely property and a nice location

Property was lovely and clean with fantastic outdoor space and pool. Lots of space inside, and incredibly clean and well provisioned (washing up liquid, shower gel etc) Worth noting that the living room and 2 bedrooms have aircon, the other 2 bedrooms do not. Kitchen is possibly a little more basic than normal. This is a old building and as such the stairs are quite steep, we have 2 small children (under 2) so we could manage this but if they were older it would have been more difficult. The owners were really responsive and provided 2 travel cots for us, during our stay we contacted them when power went out in kitchen and we sorted quickly. There was a problem with 2 dogs accessing the property grounds later in the holiday, whilst the owners responded really quickly to try sort unfortunately it didnt solve the issue, this meant we had to be very careful with the kids outside. Location is pretty much half way between the port and town, with a 15 - 20min walk each way. There was a smell which occured occasionally so assume it is close to a water treatment plant. It dodnt happen too frequently and we got used to it quickly Overall a lovely stay with lots of space and very quiet

Et dejlig sted ligger godt centralt mellem de to byer i en skøn appelsinlundene Huset i sig selv er ok ude køkken kan ikke bruges der er kun vand, ikke noget andet Køkken i hovedhuset gammelt og flere ting defekte løse fliser på køkkenbord (komfur) den ene kogeplade defekt opvaskemaskine kurv manglede et hjul, salt og afspænding skuffer der er ved at falde fra hinanden Flere ting var beskidte i køkkenet, knive der var sløve og kunde ikke skære Vandhane i køkken der kommer ikke meget varmtvand ud TV’s fjernbetjening defekt lille TV ☹️ Bad i stuen vand i bruser næsten ingen vand ud af bruser 1 sal ok alt perfekt 2 sal ok fantastik flot bad super dejligt Savner mere beskrivelse af huset når man skal leje det også om regler om affald i der land mand nu er i mm. En lugt af kloak komme snigende udenfor når man er der lugter fælt Alt i alt en dejlig oplevelse

We were a family of 6 with 2 year old grandchild. The house is airy and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable air conditioned bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.The large outside area is outstanding with a good sized pool, covered rest areas and plenty of seating and sun beds. The pool area is gated so can be closed off to prevent child access. There is plenty of shade from the mid day sun and the house is in a lovely location surrounded by orange trees. It is situated about mid way between the port and the town so it is not a 5 min walk to the beach as it says in the information but is within easy access of the bus and tram stops and a few minutes walk to the local supermarket and a restaurant. Previous reviews mentioned evening odours from the nearby sewage treatment plant but these were infrequent and not obtrusive.The communication from the host was good both before the holiday and when we had to phone to get the access codes for the gate and door which had been changed before our arrival. Overall a wonderful, relaxing experience was had by all of us. Would use again.

We had the most wonderful 5 nights at this lovely villa, perfect location between the port and town. Very easy to catch a bus to all the surrounding villages. We didn’t have a car and went to Deia, valldemossa, Fornalutx & Palma) Nice walk to the port or town of Soller from the villa. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need and the garden area is very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. We were there in April and even a little cold as expected we all enjoyed the pool. Communication with the host was very cold whilst we were staying in the property. We would definitely return.

5 stelle non bastano per descrivere la bellezza di questa casa. Grande, pulitissima e molto ben fornita . Comoda come posizione sia per Soller che per il porto ma immersa nel verde tra alberi di arance e limoni. Assolutamente consigliata!

Séjour familial idéal

Découverte de Majorque facile depuis Port Soller. Environnement bucolique de la villa. Bonne dégustation des oranges et citrons à volonté. Extérieur vaste et confortable conforme aux photos. Piscine très appréciée de tous. Literies et salles de bain parfaites. Linge fourni super. Cuisine correcte. Plaque de cuisson à revoir. Quelques odeurs regrettables d'égout le soir après 22h. Il serait judicieux de préciser le lieu de dépôt des poubelles. Dommage de ne pas avoir pu rencontrer notre hôte.
