Ligger på en bluff med 180 graders udsigt over Cook Inlet og Kachemak Bay. I baggrunden er Alaska's Ring of Fire-vulkaner, Augustin, Iliamna, Redoubt og Mnt. Douglas. Privatliv med 2 hektar udendørs underholdning og kun 2 minutter fra Homers natteliv, fine restauranter, butikker og kunstgallerier. Komfortabel til fester op til 6 og hyggelig nok til et par flugt.

1200 m² åbent koncepthus perfekt til socialt samvær og underholdning indendørs eller ude. Betagende udsigt fra alle rum for at se skibe, fiskerbåde, hvaler, ørne og andet dyreliv.

Hvert soveværelse kan tilpasses til at rumme med en konge eller to enkeltsenge efter anmodning.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute house. Easy check in, very clean, comfy beds and an incredible view of the inlet and surrounding mountsins. Quiet location with a beautiful yard and loved spending time on the deck enjoying the gorgeous sunsets.

This is an awesome home!!! We were so impressed with the view and everything was cozy and very clean. The host responded promptly throughout our stay making the experience very pleasant. This is a place we would love to stay at again!

The view is spectacular - absolutely beautiful. All king beds and were very comfortable; the view from two of the upstairs bedrooms is equally great. Very clean, well appointed, and a convenient location to Homer. We had a comfortable 2-night stay and recommend this property.

Quiet enjoyable stay near homer

The place was easy to find. Communication with the host was awesome. Location was perfect from being close to Homer and a great view of the water. We have no complaints about this stay.

Amazing!

The Lookout is an amazing place to stay while visiting the wonderful city of Homer, AK. Can't say enough about the beautiful views, great location and fantastic amenities at this fabulous house.

Amazing Views and Thoughtful Touches

This location gives you a 270 degree view of the bay. The house itself was immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The best VRBO rental we've ever experienced.

Beautiful views

Fantastic views of Kachemak Bay and the surrounding mountains. Perfect place for 3 couples traveling together as each couple had their own bed with a king bed. Enjoyed sitting at the table watching the boats go by. Awesome views from the bedrooms. Saw sandhill cranes in the yard

Wonderful Views

Very comfortable home, nice appliances and artistic touches. But of course the views are everything. Whether outside on the deck, inside in the bedrooms, or just sitting at the kitchen table, the views are fantastic. Sunrises, sunsets, and eagles in between. Unforgettable.

Beautiful home

Our stay was amazing. The home was well kept and clean. There was an issue with the electrical down stairs. A lot of lights and outlets were not workin - we did notified the owner. Other than that the stay was beyond what we expected. The views cannot be matched. We’re planing on coming back in a year or two and I will definitely look into staying here again.

Hi there. The issue with the electrical was a GFCI outlet had tripped. GFCI outlets are placed in kitchens and areas or water for safety and are in all homes by code. When they trip, they shutdown power to the entire circuit. A simple reset would have solved the problem. I apologize for not understanding the scope of your complaint or I would have advised you at the time.

Amazing

A little mix up on the address and ended up in the wrong house but that was quickly resolved. Lauren is an amazing host. We had issues with the water our first day and lauren was on it right away, she even provided a case and 6 gallons of drinking water. The property had amazing veiws. The only bad was the dining room window, the 10 pm sun shines right in your face while sitting on the couch, even with the pull down tinted shade. We will definitely rent this property again when we are ready to visit the Homer area again

Lauran and her home are truly amazing! She’s very responsive to messages and she cares about her guests and their experience! The views are spectacular from inside and outside the home! We saw a bald eagle and Mt. Redoubt from the deck. Mosquitos were non existent as we were able to enjoy bbq’ing, socializing, and a nice fire in the back yard. Be sure to bring firewood! Lauran has a lot covered: matches, binoculars, bear spray, even a Bluetooth speaker! I’d definitely rent Lauran’s place again! Her home is located 10-15 min from Homer and is in a nice neighborhood. I always felt safe!

LOOKOUT A NICE COZY HOME

Lookout is a nice cozy 2 level home. It has all the amenities you need to relax while in Homer Alaska area. The view is great, with the exception of windows needing cleaned and perhaps a sir the seals leak to get a clear view …the sun peeping in keeps the cabin warm n cozy. If you like storms this home is for you…the view of the various mountains and bay is beautiful. Moose like to roam the yard and if the weather permits you can have a fire outside in the lovely pit area. The host is very easy to reach and stay in contact with before and during your stay. Like any home that’s notes you can find things that may be a negative, but really this home satisfies our needs and was a delight to find and have the opportunity to stay in. The host has a cooler, boots, bbq and other amenities if you go fishing or out about to use. We would reserve this home agin if the need arises to be in Homer again. Thank you!

Heaven on Earth!

The Lookout exceeded our expectations! The house is so well stocked and equipped with everything you could need. Bedrooms are amazingly comfortable, black out blinds are truly appreciated!! The deck was such a great place to gather and relax. The grounds were beautifully maintained and bursting with colors of the season and last but of course not last, the views were magnificent!! On a clear day we could see 5 volcanoes!! Great location close to Homer and the spit but far enough away from all the distractions. The Lookout is a magical location, we will cherish those memories forever.

Adorable place with amazing views

Did not disappoint! Have done lots of VRBOs and this one was great! Loved the quietness and views, lots of extras for convenience from BBQ to ice cooler to cooking spices- had everything we needed to come and relax and cook our fresh caught fish after a long day on the water

Two years ago, while working as a professional in Oil and Gas, I began dreaming of building my Vacation Rental empire with uniquely, epic Alaskan experiences focused on outstanding hospitality.

I love the outdoors, travel, and adventure and these hobbies greatly influence my properties. My favorite thing about choosing to stay in vacation homes while traveling is the feeling of being apart of the community you are visiting. As a child and even today, my most cherished memories are trips taken with friends and family. I am passionate about hospitality and the role it plays in hosting memorable experiences for others.

I purchased this property after an amazing visit to Homer. I lover Homer, Alaska. There are so many fun activities: fat tire biking on the beach, cute shops and amazing fine dining. This particular property resonated with us because it feels amazingly tranquil and has "it all". 2 acres of privacy only minutes from town. We love spending time here and use it as a get away from Anchorage.

This property was designed to take in as much of the expansive views as possible and boy they are spectacular! Whether you decide to take the views in from the large wrap-around deck or from any room inside the home, there is always something spectacular happening!
