Dream bay is perfect for a couple or a small family. We travelled as a couple with a dog and the cottage was ideal with dog friendly walks on the door step. The beach is short walk away around 10 minutes and the beach is perfect for all . Plenty within a short car journey to visit such as Whitby and Scarbourgh and the rspb reserve nearby which if lucky you may see Puffins, We would certainly recommend the cottage and site for a short break to explore North Yorkshire.

Been planning to visit for years...so glad we did!

We had been planning to visit for years to the Bay and now wish we had visited sooner. A fantastic base and house with no complaints. The unexpected addition of Wii and board games was a bonus and this should be advertised more as it was great family fun. For a long weekend family break we would 100% recommend. Also explore Flamborough Lighthouse and Selwicks Bay - one of the most beautiful places in the UK we have seen.

A lovely way to spend Christmas

It was our first time booking with Anchor Bay and it certainly won’t be the last. We spent a very comfortable Christmas in Bay Dream; the cottage was well equipped, lovely and warm and even though the resort was busy it didn’t feel that way. We were able to enjoy lovely walks in a beautiful area.

Great Holiday Home...

We loved our short stay at the Bay Dream. Clean, comfortable home, well equipped and ideal for a young family. Only one slight negative was the state of the duvet in one of the bedrooms. It really could do with replacing. Otherwise our stay at Bay Dream was a lovely, refreshing break.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Bay Dream and for your review. Thank you for bringing the condition of the duvet to our attention. We will replace with a new and better quality one when we stay later this month. Best regards Amanda

Excellent value short break.

Excellent location on the very edge of the resort. Really good value for money and great communication with Anchor Bay. Cleanliness would have been 5 however the Venetian blinds need a clean.

Fantastic Base

Great property in a great location for exploring the east Yorkshire coast. The property itself is clean & has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The only slight downside is, it's near to the road & if like us you sleep with the window ajar the road noise can be heard in the mornings .

home comforts.

Great location, lovely holiday village. Quiet. Dog friendly cottage, site and beach. Lovely comfortable cottage. With great amenities and everything you could need and more for a self catering holiday. Lovely patio, to relax on in the afternoon/evening sun overlooking a field. On the edge of the village but far enough away from the main road. Would definitely recommend and will look at returning ourselves in the future.

Home from home

Fantastic stay at Bay View, my husband myself and our little poodle Isaac had the best time. We really needed the rest and relaxation after some back breaking digging in our garden to remove large conifers. We felt right at home in this property. It being at the entrance near reception didn’t bother us the road noise was minimal. Exploring the site and passing other properties to reach the pub and the path to the beach wasn’t a problem either. Only one slight negative was the sofa was rather springy and hard, not completely comfortable for us to sink into after long walks but the bed was just bliss. I can certainly recommend this property without any hesitation.
