Quiet cottage right on the lake. Close to Coldwater, Orillia, Severn. Comfortable and good ammenities.

The property is lovely!! Very easy to get to and very cozy. Our stay was okay. Unfortunately the hot water had a foul smell of sulphur and communication with the host was a bit poor and the issue could not be resolved while we stayed there. We understand it was the long weekend though so things moved a bit slower than ideal. Henry did offer a small reimbursement for this issue and we are grateful for it. The place was mostly clean on arrival but we did find dog hairs in all areas, so cleaning can be improved. Despite this issues, we had a nice stay. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and it was all worth it.

Lake view but difficult to get to shoreline for seniors. Beach was shared with neighbours. Expected a kayak not plastic ones!Bathroom was petite & taking a shower fairly difficult. No space for soap & shampoo.Access to beds were only from one side.As blind in sitting area torn truly had to mindful of one’s privacy in bathroomWater had an odour and the hot water produced black flecks. Gross!A prevalence of no see um flies in the cottage.

The check-in process was confusing and not very smooth. There were three cottages at the same address, with no unit numbers or clear instructions to identify which one was ours. The host only provided the last four digits of a phone number as the door code, so we had to try the code on different cottages, unsure whether we were entering the right one. The host was also unresponsive when we arrived around 6 PM, which added to the confusion.The cottage door was already unlocked when we arrived, which was a concern. The bathroom garbage had not been completely emptied, and the rooms felt quite cramped.We had planned to enjoy a barbecue, but the grill was in horrible condition and extremely dirty. It was so unclean that we didn’t feel comfortable using it at all. The microwave also initially turned on but later stopped working.On the positive side, the views were beautiful and definitely a highlight of the stay. Pet friendly.Overall, it was a decent experience, but certainly not a great one. The property has potential, but better cleanliness, maintenance, clearer check-in instructions, and more responsive communication from the host would make a big difference.

Cute little cottage, beautiful outdoor amenities. Had a couple issues with wifi/hot water, but was resolved very quickly by Henry. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful area and nice little cottage overlooking the lake. Very clean and the owner was very informative and responded quickly to inquiries. My only concern was the sulphur water in the cottage.

This was the most relaxing and perfect long weekend we could have asked for! No mosquitos this Labour Day long weekend, and warm enough to enjoy the water, which was so clear and beautiful. We struggled to make a campfire and the property manager James kindly helped us and brought over firewood. Would recommend the loon, and hope to return soon!

Beautiful! The cottage was beautiful. Fully stocked with basics - you need food / drinking water and condiments. Be prepared for sulphur water . Calm wonderful atmosphere

Quite little get away

This was the most oeaceful place we ever stayed. The view alone was perfect. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and canoes. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful view to enjoy all day.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful scenery and very comfortable. Henry, the property owner was super friendly from the start! He was easy to talk to and very kind to me. Always ready to answer any questions and very helpful. We would love to come back. Thank you so much Henry!

Great Stay

Great stay - ran into a couple issues but property manager was quick to call us and resolve it. One note - the 3 cottages are quite close to each other. Our neighbors were friendly so it wasnt an issue, but just something to keep in mind

The cottage was lovely. Water pressure was fine. Unfortunately the hot water smelled of sulfur but that is also a natural occurrence with a well in the shoals but it was unpleasant while washing dishes and showering. I would stay again even with that. The lake is great and it was great to get away from light pollution and see a couple meteors.

The location is amazing, just few steps from the lake.The place is clean. My concern is that the beddings smells. The water pressure is low however the owner told us ahead of time which I understood. The owner is very easy to contact if any concern.Overall our stay is still good.Thank you TeaLakeCottages.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views. New heat exchange air conditioning was great in a heat wave. Dock was perfect for fishing, swimming, and lounging. Lovely protected fire pit seating area. This is definitely an old style muskoka cabin. They should embrace that vibe and decorate accordingly for a nostalgic experience. Beds were comfortable, but bedrooms were very tiny. Thoughtfully, there was a small bedside table in one room just large enough for a CPAP machine. Hooks on the wall in that room would be a helpful addition. The tiny bathroom has been updated but has no towel bar or hook and the shower leaks if you use the rainshower option. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Cushions for the porch chairs would be helpful as they are black metal and got extremely hot plus weren't comfortable. Kayaks were in decent condition and though shared by three cottages, while we were there, had good availability. We took our own canoe, paddles and life jackets but there were some there. The boat rack was new and worked well. The BBQ also was newer and worked well. There was a visable gap under the cabin door and I put patches on some windows screen holes but bugs weren't an issue. We enjoyed our stay!

The property location was great. We loved the lake access and kayaks and canoes. I only experineced 2 issues: 1)the water had a strong sulpher/egg smell that would not go away, even after running the water. 2) there was pet hair on the living room couch pillows. It was easy to just move the pillows, but there was no fixing the water. Other than that, the place was as pictured and overall we had a pleasant stay.
