Yes, with the windows open you will hear your neighbors, but quiet time was generally observed from 9pm-9am and the perks are 1) turtles everyday on the reef outside the condo!!! 2) nice heated pool 3) location! its close to the food trucks and all of the fun bits of northwest Maui.

We'd watch the turtles swim from our balcony daily. The location is close to all the action (Kaanapali, Front St, etc.) but far enough away that there is peace and quiet. There is awesome markets (Farmers Market & the Fish Market) within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved the view, the view was everything!!

As others have noted the bedroom is roadside and in the predawn hours trucks make noise. Thin windows don't block that well but the fan created plenty of "white noise" for us. The couch bed is worthless for anyone over say 12 as most couch beds are. The most dated part in my mind is the lack of outlets at counter height for modern charging purposes but not that big of a deal really.

Christmas week stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Kaleialoha for Dec 22 Christmas week.Our condo was much more expensive that comparable places that we had stayed in Honokowai, and we did not get anything at all for the added cost. The master bedroom was uncomfortable with no ventilation and the fan in the room was noisy. We had to call the property manager to get the carpet repaired since my daughter stepped on a nail. Some of the windows were broken and the window in the bedroom was cracked. Not worth the money!!!

Great condo for staycation in Maui

The best part everyday the turtles they pass by in front. We usually hang out at the patio and wait for the turtles in the morning and afternoon. The condo has everything you need( in unit laundry/dryer, complete kitchen and utensils, swimming pool and parking spot for your rental car). Just a few miles away theres a grocery place and food trucks. Free sunset view everyday!!!

Beautiful ocean/beach front property with all the basic necessities. Great location. We even saw 4-5 turtles from the lanai. Highly recommend.

Loved it!

It was a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay w my cousin. The 2 beds were a perfect fit. I had to text Lonnie a few times w questions and she promptly responded. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view, right on the ocean.

Condo was nice. We enjoyed being able to open the sliding doors and letting the breeze flow thru. Setting on the lanai and being right at the ocean. Everything we needed was there. Would highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: We watched whales breaching and cavorting every morning from our 3rd floor balcony (lanai, hereabouts), before heading out for other adventures. I brought binoculars, which were useful but not necessary to enjoy the whales, waves, surf, and sunsets. Rainbows too.Very nice accommodations. The parking lot B was full, but always had at least one spot open for us. BBQ and lounge chairs out by the ocean were nice to have. We ate a meal or two in the apartment (on the balcony, of course) each day, good amenities, pans, utensils, etc.We'll be back. This place has the best views of any place I've stayed in Maui, very nice home base for a great Hawaiian vacation!
