The home is located in the mountains and we are restricted to satellite cable and internet. We do have dish network cable on 6 of the 12 TVs in the home. When they stayed we had a lot of rain and storms so the cable was a bit choppy and that is out of our control. As for the internet we do have HughesNet which is the only provider available, and we are restricted on how fast it is based off weather as well. This is all due to the location on the water in the cumberland mountains.

As soon as we were notified of two loose railings leading to the dock, our team was onsite and completed repairs within two hours. We take safety seriously and have happily hosted many families with young children over the years without concern—guests simply understand that our home is nestled in the beautiful woods and mountains, and natural terrain and elevation changes are part of that setting. Regarding the insects, the issue involved bees (not wasps). With the crisp fall weather in the Cumberland Mountains, occasional insects can be unavoidable, but we treated the area immediately upon notification to ensure your comfort and have monthly pest control service. We are also disappointed to hear mention of mildew and cleanliness concerns, as this was not reported during your stay, and we pride ourselves on a clean home. Had we been aware, we would have immediately addressed it just as quickly and thoroughly as we did the other items you brought to our attention. Guest satisfaction and responsiveness are always our priority. In terms of space, our home offers three living rooms, and the photos accurately represent the open-concept kitchen and main living area, which many previous guests have complimented for being spacious and inviting. Finally, we clearly note in our listing that water levels naturally recede after Labor Day, which is standard for the lake and the season (October). We are committed to providing a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained home for all our guests.
