Tre Lowen- Enclosed Garden - Free Parking
Tre Lowen is a fabulous contemporary home which lies in the small village of Goonhavern, less than 10 minutes' drive from Perranporth in North Cornwall. Superbly spacious, beautifully furnished, and kitted out to a very high standard, it's perfectly suited to group getaways with friends as well as family holidays with all the clan.
Inside there are four light and airy bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a big kitchen/diner, and a large open plan living room which has patio doors leading outside to a fabulous sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a Weber gas BBQ. The property's private garden which wraps around the house offers plenty of space for children to stretch their legs in the fresh air, and a detached games room off the garden has cinema-style sofas, several bean bags, a wall-mounted TV and a pool table (which converts to an air hockey and ping pong table).
The village of Goonhavern is friendly and welcoming with a small grocery store and garden centre, as well as a handful of shops. If you fancy eating out, the Bay Tree restaurant (in the garden centre) is a lovely spot for a light bite, and if you're looking for a traditional pub lunch there's the New Inn just down the road.
Perranporth is one of Cornwall's most popular beach resorts, and is well-known (and loved) for its fantastic expanse of golden sand, surf-lined waters, and Watering Hole (a music bar that sits in the middle of the beach). There are many great places to eat out, as well as a terrific selection of independent shops including surf stores, gifts & curios, lifestyle and clothing boutiques.
The area has several excellent walking routes too, like the one from Perranporth to St Agnes which is about 3.6 miles along the coast path (just under 6kms), as well as numerous circular walks around Goonhavern. These routes include routes through the woods of the Lappa Valley, the nature reserve at Ventongimps, and the fascinating St. Pirans Round which has the ruins of a Medieval amphitheatre.
*For larger groups or those looking for extra space, Bridge Apartment is 110 yards away (less than a minute's walk) and offers 3 bedrooms (sleeping 6 guests), with its own garden and BBQ
