Lot K50 - CASA CABALLITO DE MAR

Casa Caballito de Mar (Seahorse House) was built with every detail in mind. We have set our home up for our frequent visits, with every convenience available for us and now for YOU.

Surf, walk and play on the beautiful miles long beach, just a short two minute walk from the house.

This house is set up for pure relaxation. Hang out in one of the hammocks while reading that book you have been meaning to finish or start up a game of ping pong. Grab a refreshment and chill in the Rancho as you watch the monkeys in the trees above you.

Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and air conditioning. Two of the rooms each have their own private entrance off of the patio, while the other two are across the hall from each other off of the Living Room & Kitchen. Privacy for the adults and convenience for the kids :)

If you have to bring your work with you or just stay in touch with family and friends, stay connected with the fastest speed WiFi available in the area.

Very private. Gorgeous gardens. Fully surrounded, private property.

Wonderful property management team, who speak fluent English and can help assist you with everything you’ll need for the perfect vacation - starting with transportation to/from the airport or vehicle rentals while in town, setting up excursions, booking surf lessons, making reservations, hiring a masseuse or chef, obtaining groceries and so much more!

So many wonderful restaurants, shops and activities all within walking distance.

Awesome location and property

This property is amazing and in the perfect location. We all loved that we were able to walk to restaurants and the beach. The property was clean and the pictures were accurate. Would recommend this property!

Paradise

Our family loved the home. We all felt extremely comfortable and loved the layout of the house. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfect. We are coming back to this house for sure again. The only negative that is out of their control is the house across the street had 3 dogs that they left out all night. We are not sure anyone was even there. These dogs barked off and on throughout the night. Hopefully they won’t be there next time!!!!

Hard to beat!

property was walking distanceto everything! Property had everything and more to make for an extremely enjoyable trip with family. Perfectly situated that everyone had their own rooms/bed and a community area for play! I definately recommend and will stay here again!!!

Getaway

We enjoyed our stay with family friends.. property was pretty and the on site staff was helpful with yoga and horseback riding suggestions and set up. Definitely plenty of cute animals cruising the yard for an authentic feel of CR. The outdoor space of the property was nice. The small town was a quick walk and there a hotel with a great restaurant right next door. The hotel next door did have a lot of traffic so you can hear that very clearly as the parking lot backs up to house. There is construction across the street all day so we needed to play music somewhat loud to drown out the drills and hammers. Lots of cameras on property which were facing hammocks and pool so you felt watched. It’s ok for front gate but maybe overkill. 5 nights was just the right amount of time… Thank you!

Great place in an amazing location

We stayed here as a family recently. The pool is perfect for kids. It’s close to the beach and close to restaurants. Will stay here again.

Perfect house! Great location!

8 of us stayed, 6 adults, 2 teens. House is as pictured! A-mazing! Clean and spacious! Was great to have two covered outdoor seating area options, both with fans. Rooms cooled off quickly with individual AC units. No onsite laundry as stated. But there's laundry service less than 10 min from the house. As many other reviews mentioned, <5 min walk to the beach, close to many restaurants, shops. Each bedroom has own bath, with additional full bath by the pool - great touch! Super nice to also have two spray off areas for when you come back from the beach. Kitchen incredibly well stock and plenty of beach towels. Felt safe. Gated drive in and keypad pedestrian access door. Pablo from Vacation Rentals was quick to respond before and during our trip, always friendly and accommodating. Deeply appreciated him reaching out the day before our arrival to let us know the Olive Ridley Turtles just arrived!! Is a super short window! He knew just who to contact for the Ostional Wildlife Refuge guide/reservation so we could go the night of our arrival. Incredibly special to see them laying their eggs! Unexpectedly got extra lucky!!! Baby turtles started crawling out of a nest from June, 6 feet from us!! So Amazing!!! Would definitely stay again! Wins the award for our all time favorite family vacation house! Highly recommend!

Amazing

The house was awesome. The outdoor space was truly the best. We were never really inside. such a nice open area and we loved every second of it. Kathy was so nice to deal with as well. She was very accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this house to anyone.

We had a blast - huge outdoor area and pool to hang during the day, spacious and clean bedrooms, close to shops food and surf - epic spot!

Great spot

Wonderful location and property for our family vacation. We travelled with our children and their partners, 8 couples, and the lay out was perfect. The place is clean, well maintained, has everything you need and is close to surf shop and the beach. Everyone was helpful and really friendly. Highly recommend!

Great property, close to the beach, and TONS of towels! We are five 60-ish surfers, and have been to CR many times. We loved the closeness to the beach, so anyone who wanted to surf could go without needing a car. Wish it was available next year...

Remarkable property, incredible stay

This property is remarkable. Our friend group had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The rooms are impeccably clean with very nice linens and comfortable bedding along with nice towels. The house is well stocked with everything needed for cooking. The property manager was wonderful and responsive to every request we had. We really appreciated him. It is not a brand new house with shiny new everything, but we loved the way it felt and was clean and comfortable. Like everywhere in Guiones, there are plenty of sounds from birds to construction, but we really enjoyed our time there.
